I've only been in my new home 6 weeks and already have had 2 major issues with my new home. I thought if I bought new I would not have to deal with issues. But I was wrong, I've only held back from sending in a review because I'm afraid of being outcasted and not being helped the next time a major issue arises in my new home!

We were so happy with our experience working with Chris and Cindy. They both were very responsive throughout the entire process and everything happened exactly as they said it would from the beginning. Overall purchasing experience was stress-free and smooth. Since moving in, there have been some minor issues that were covered under the warranty and fixed tinely. Joseph, our customer care rep, has been helping us and has been great. Build quality seems good for the most part, and the neighbors seem really nice. My wife and I look forward to raising our family in our beautiful home for years to come!

A Good Experience

The closing took place in the Sycamore Chase model so it was very convenient. The attorney was 3 hours late due to a flat tire but he was ready when he arrived and the closing took no more than 30 minutes. We had no mortgage to close.

Very Smooth Process

I’d like to say Alex was incredible to work with. He made things very smooth and effortless to get to closing. He was very responsive all the way to closing on our house and ensured to make sure everything was perfect even after closing. Janssen was also absolutely incredible. He got us familiar with our home and any minor things that needed attention was done very very quickly. He as well checked in on us after closing to make sure we were all set. Overall one of the best teams I’ve had the experience of working with.

The actual purchase and closing went fine. Super easy. Once we moved in, we ran into a big issue with our HVAC and blower motor in the attic. It was installed backwards which caused the thermostat on our dryer to blow out. Our HVAC was a manufacturer issue but should have been caught by Airtron. Actually both things should have been caught by Airtron. We are a month on and still getting the issues resolved. I think there should be a follow up walk thru 2-4 weeks after moving in and using everything.

Warranty service is slow.

The customer service representative has taken my warranty claims and submitted them to the responsible contractors. Some of the claims have been outstanding for close to 2 months. I hold the contractors responsible for the delays in making the needed repairs. The customer service representative has contacted the contractors and is as frustrated as I am. He has fixed a couple of the items and the rest can only be repaired by the contractors.

We love everything about our house. Beazer has excellent customer service and they made the process easier by taking us through each step in our initial meeting. The weekly updates about the construction progress were helpful. Our builder Chris is very knowledgeable and responsive and addressed all our concerns even the smallest ones before closing.

When doing my final walkthrough, I notice small ants in the home. I mentioned it to advisor of the walkthrough and he told that I had to get the exterminator. That just put a bad taste in my mouth, that he was so unconcerned.

Great plans location and price but poor construction quality.

I liked their plans, they are budget homes. But the quality is poor. I am not expecting great quality but was thinking it should be decent. No craftmanship. Small.small things are not correct. For eg. Light switch fixture is not in straight line, I have bathroom countertop made with two stones so have joint line in there. Overall if we ignore craftsmanship its all okey.

Buying process wasn't hard was probably the easiest. However the building process was long and very painful. We were promised something and they didn't follow through on it. However we understand due to delays but I feel.towrads the end the whole time stuff was rushed to get the house up and stuff.

Worst craftsmanship I have ever seen. A 5 year old could do a better job. Finishes are terrible and getting repairs is more than painful.

Overall, I love my townhouse! Brandon and Laura at Beazer are great! Throughout the process I did go through several new home reps and construction managers which was frustrating, but I’m happy I ended up with these two.
