I’ve been trying to be patient but there are a few things that just haven’t sit right with me. First, we weren’t told that mailboxes wouldn’t be installed until a certain percentage of homes were built when we first signed the contract. We were told this after the house was built, causing us to scramble around and figure out how we were going to get our mail. Second, because of the mailbox situation, our address isn’t fully established, causing missed deliveries with packages, and causing friends and family to not even be able to locate our home using navigation other than Google maps. Third, and certainly the biggest issue, we have electrical problems. We have had 2 short circuits that caused all the power to go out in certain sections of the home. First was in the kitchen as we were cooking, and the second in the living room as we were vacuuming. By no means did we plug in more than the home can handle, this has not been an issue with any other home that I’ve lived in. Fourth, I’m sure this is related to the third, but we have issues with the AC and heater. The AC and heater upstairs and downstairs were working fine for the first month. I decided to change the thermostats to smart thermostats, and I made sure the AC and heater were working. Another month goes by, and now the AC nor the heater, both upstairs and downstairs, no longer turn on. I thought it might have been the thermostats that I installed, so I changed them back to the original thermostats. The AC and heater powered on for about a day with the original thermostats, but now they no longer power on. Yes, the wiring is correct after double and triple checking, and no, I didn’t damage any of the wiring nor thermostats as I was installing them. This is just the result of poor craftsmanship. Fifth, the light fixture in our primary bedroom’s bathroom is off center. Like extremely off center. We submitted a claim, had someone come out, and they said they would have to reschedule the repair, but the reschedule would be done by Beazer. After 2-3 weeks, this appointment has not been rescheduled. Sixth, the stair rail was loose. We submitted a claim, someone came out and tightened things up, but part of the stair rail requires to be repainted due to the repair. The repainting requires a second appointment, so after the stair rail appointment, we mentioned this to Beazer, and we still have yet to have the paint appointment be scheduled. Seventh, we were told we would either be mailed HOA information for payment, or at least receive a call, and neither has happened. We’re trying to remedy this situation now, but extremely frustrating nonetheless. Again, I tried being patient with some of these things, but it’s gotten the point of frustration. We love our Beazer home, and very impressed with the technology that went into it, we feel very safe and secure. The area is very beautiful and Beazer has responded to my needs since I moved in. The staff especially Harry and Rob have great customer relationship and readily available to help whether they are on duty or off duty, they respond regardless. Talking and dealing with Beazer Homes builder's team was very nice. they were very approachable, friendly and very attentive for customers questions and concern. They did a great job and worked very hard to finish the project on time. The home is worth for the money and the design & workmanship is really praiseworthy. Compare to other builders Beazer Homes builders are far better.

Loved the process of purchasing our home! It was simple since we were out of state and we love the home. We elected for a bigger home with open spaces. One thing that has stood out is the bigger yard (than expected) great kitchen design, and all the lighting overhead! The home is very energy efficient too!

Great builder to work with. From sale consultant to construction manager, very easy to work with. If you build new home from scratch, do your homework about upgrade options. Add those upgrades during design center's appointment. After certain building stage, they won't allow you to make even a very minor change. Construction managers in this community are super responsive. They handle a few minor issues after close, without I submit warranty request.

Beazer provided weekly updates throughout the build that included reviewing the work done the prior week and expected work and or deliveries for the coming week. Weekly pictures were also provided to show the progress which was helpful because I was out of state during the build. We are pleased with the quality of the home, the Beazer staff (especially Brad, Matt, and Phil), and the Harborview Community.

I'me very disappointed in this builder, the house that was build has TONs of issues (I have the list of 35+ items right now there) which the builder is not fixing and addressing in a timely manner, I have to chase and ask to perform the review of the issue, the feedback to my emails is delayed. Some issues with the house are major are cannot be fixed easily - like for example the water heater was misplaced - we checked the location of the heater in other similar houses and it is differs. so not sure what to do about that. Overall experience with this builder is not satisfactory. Will not ever recommend it. Before that we had a new home from DR Horton and the quality of their house was slightly better, besides all issues after the closing were addressed right away by this builder. ... More

From start to finish, our experience has been outstanding. Jarrett is the best. The closing process was as streamline as possible. The total process taking about 3 weeks. The walk through with Steve went well also. Overall a very good experience. Everyone had been very friendly, but professional. Always willing to help with questions etc. so glad we selected the Gatherings as our home.

With all the moving pieces to the home buying puzzle the Beazer Twam made it seamless.

Our Beazer home offered features making it perfect for our 55+ life style. Our open floor plan is perfect for entertaining. The home's ten foot high ceilings and eight foot high doors gives our one story home the appearance of being much larger. Like many seniors who have down sized from a much larger home we found our home to have sufficient cabinet and storage capacity. Being in a gated community with a pool, dog park and community center were must have features for us. Easy process little hiccup but Beazer made it right. Communication through the entire homebuilding process.

We’ve been in the house for 3 months. We’re disappointed with the interior finishing construction on the inside. We’ve had quite a few major problems. The master bathroom has cracked sink and shower needs major work. Our roof leaked during a storm, cold are coming through the vents in master bedroom and microwave. Finished trim work is poor. Had to replace the stove-fire hazard. That’s just a few. It’s under warranty but no one has come over to fix those listed above for a month. Contractor told us to wait about 6 months to see if the roof leaks again. Extremely disappointed!

Our experience was a mixed one. Firstly, it took a very long time to complete. We understand these are turbulent times with all kinds of supply issues ect. So, no one is to blame for that but maybe the current administration. We love our home and love living here. What needs to be mentioned is the people who are in charge of the trades. Their job is to make sure the trades do an acceptable job building the home. In our case the person in charge of our home missed a lot of things. There are too many issues to name here. We will now be inconvenienced with major repairs in the coming weeks. We appreciate that the warranty system will fix these issues. Beazer homes is amazing. It’s been a month i moved to chalk hill and it’s wonderful.I haven’t had any issues with construction.

Delays, poor communication, sloppy finish work, limited follow through

The home buying experience with Beazer Homes was not good. The original builder by the name of Jack was very rude, uncouth and had no scruples at all. I was sold a floor plan that included a tub and a shower in the master bath but Jack the builder did what he wanted to do and I ended up with a shower and a linen closest as a shower. The house was framed in January 2022 but didn't finish until August of 2022. No one could seem to get my house finished in a timely manner. At closing I still had a laundry list of things still wrong with the house. Most importantly, I'm still not satisfied that I was sold a floor plan with a master bath that is supposed to have a tub and a shower and only got a shower. I'm a Navy veteran that has served in the Persian Gulf War Era and I'm a %100 Disabled Veteran with multiple physical injuries and I suffer from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder as well. The tub was very important to help with those injuries but Jack the builder did not care about that part. Everyone was great at Beezer and the process was smooth!

From the time I purchased my Beazer home to the time it was finished the Beazer team of Dee Ann and Crystal were outstanding and kept me up to date as to the completion dates of my new home. The upgrades and furnishings were completely well done. As the home was almost completed, Ryan was the "man on the spot". I cannot say enough about Ryan and how he came to help me with my requests almost immediately. The walk through was thorough and informative. Ryan knew everything about the home and gave me much needed advice. Ryan followed through with my every request. I highly recommend the Beazer team. ... More
