I am a new Beazer homeowner, & I am very pleased with my house. Initially there was a bumpy road with a few minor issues, I.e. paint, etc but Hunter always responded quickly I would recommend a Beazer home

Everyone from sales to construction to the final walk through was very good. However, the outside HOA company was terrible at getting back to us on fencing the property. Over 2 months after closing and getting them the application, finally heard from them. Seems very unreasonable.

As a first time homebuyer. Samantha and her team helped us out through out the whole process. They did their due diligence and ensured proper paperwork and steps were followed. The home however, you would expect a completed home with no issues and a proper QA to be done by the contractor in charge but there wasn't. We found several cosmetic issues such as parial holes on the ceiling by supposed covers, paint not covering certain areas, ventilation not working, and other things. It was great having the team to build the house. The did it very quickly and acted professional. There was some lack of communication and lack of small promises. The closing date was not even talked about until a couple days before the date. There was some minor improvements wanted to be done in the house and builder said he could do it, but didn't.

We like the house and layout. However we were told we could have a fence and the day after we move in we go to a meeting where there is an uproar about the fact that fences weren’t really allowed according to the covenants. Fortunately we were approved because I had everything in writing. We were also told that there were rental restrictions in the covenants by the Beazer rep, Khris. Not true. I take blame for that because I didn’t read them closely after she told us that. Since moving in, these special hybrid water heaters have been nothing but a problem. We are on our third repair ...

Buying the home process is smooth and without incident. But once you sign, immediate assistance is switched to the quality assistance section and it is slow to respondl It feels like once you sign, beazer is done with you.

I appreciate the care and dedication the Beazer team commits to us during and after we purchased and moved into our home. Three people stand out as being dedicated to helping us with our issues and questions as needed during the warrantee period and leading up to final inspection. Kim (Customer Care Team) Darrel and Blair (Construction Team). These three people helped lift this rating, that was lower due to some earlier shortfalls in the process primarily with communication between departments and with my lender, and a disappointing upgrades experience.

Overall, my first home-buying experience was very positive. The only challenge I encountered was with the lender process. I had already secured a lender, but the builder required me to apply through their preferred lenders, which added an extra layer of hassle. That said, the rest of the process went smoothly. The community manager, Jason, was excellent throughout. He was professional, approachable, and knowledgeable, always taking the time to address our concerns and answer any questions we had. The purchase was easy. The agent was great. The quality is fair. Garage is small. Refrigerator still not working properly after three repairs. The water smells and is very dirty. I have a serious mold issue in HVAC closet. The ERV system is noisy. Paint is the lowest quality Sherwin Williams. Why would a quality builder put wire closet organizers in a quality home? And the remote fan is an issue- due to the limited frequency of each remote, randomly, the light or fan will come on due to someone else in the building using their remote. The overall experience was good, not great. The home looked/felt rushed. During the first 30 days of owning the home it was obvious Beazer did poor quality control on the work performed on the home. Example the yard is poorly graded, asking about getting this fixed just gets patched not fixed. We love the house just felt Beazer could have done better.

From planning through construction, I found the experience to be relatively trouble free. My only suggestions for improvement would be 1) Allow the builder incentive to be used without obligation to Beazer's preferred lenders and 2) Use solar components all of the same brand. The combination of Tesla, SPAN, and Qcell leads to a confusing mess of different apps and compatibility. The process of activating the solar system with NV Energy could be a lot easier.

From our initial purchase with Mark to our final walk through with Paul, the Beazer team was great. The design center was efficient and offered reasonably priced upgrades. I definitely recommend Beazer for new construction.
