We have had a drawer in the kitchen break. Vents were not put on straight. The doors did not fit right. Had a hole in the bathtub. Overall the workers building the house had no pride in their work.

The process of buying was very pleasant and exciting. The complacency and lack/slowness of action on significant warranty issues has greatly tempered that excitement. The building has been "completed for almost a year now, and still dealing with significant problems with security system, exterior lighting, and rain water leakage (leakage may have been fixed last week, waiting for next rain to confirm).

Sales Guy Disappeared - Confusion Through Closing - Warranty Mystery

Our sales rep disappeared once we signed the contract, which delayed closing by weeks. Never heard from the original "closing agent" rep from Beazer until I escalated. Team took over to push the closing forward. Warranty is a mystery. At closing the closing team had no idea of the process to notify HOA - I had to reach out to them via escalation. I notified Beazer that the closing process was terrible, hopefully that will improve. HOA management company is strong - so that has been a good experience.

They put in the cheapest possible kitchen cabinets known to man, they need to think about upgrading. House needs professional cleaning services, Stanley cleaners for example.

Larry, the construction manager modified the schedule to meet the availability of materials. Brittany, the design person was awesome, helping us in making intelligent decisions. The hone looks great. Rachael, who oversees warranty issues and questions after move-in, has been our advocate. These three make a great team. We are enjoying our home!

So far it has not been a good experience buying a new home . I had to call customer care 3 times in less than a month (and I just moved in almost 2 months ago) for the AC and plumbing.

Bought first home. For most part things went smoothly. However, Promises were made by numerous people involved that certain issues would be fixed prior to closing and they were not. Was referred directly to customer service to fix the issues which are still Not fixed completely. Very rushed build and closed a week earlier than expected and was not finished. The lender and builder worked closely together, I think the builder and contractors are way backed up with not enough skilled laborers. It’s all about finishing as fast as possible.
