We are very happy in our new Beazer home. The process was simple and the people were great. The home quality is wonderful. All the trades did a great job in all areas of the building process and if an issue was discovered, the superintendents were quick to remedy the problem. Best experience in a home purchase that we have had. This is my 6th home purchase, so I have some experience in this regard.

First of all, the location is perfect. Just off I-526 and minutes from Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and North Charleston. The homes are quality with solid construction. A visitor to my new Beazer home commented "the stairs don't even creak". I love the styles - reflective of the Lowcountry. Most importantly, the staff, from the representative up front to the builder, they are highly professional and go above and beyond to please and make living here a pleasant experience. I just moved into my home and love it. The neighbors I have met are great and love it here and praise the staff. God has truly blessed me - I never thought I would have a new home this nice and in such a great location and a staff member and builder who truly care. I highly recommend considering. While there were a few minor issues in the build process, it really couldn't have much better. There were only a few fit and finish issues and the builder was on top of those promptly. After being in the home, I've noticed a couple of items that need to addressed through the warranty process, but they are very minor. There were enough options to satisfy my needs and other options were taken care so as not to turn the process into a year long second job. Highly recommended

Had the pleasure of working Jeff as our builder and he was awesome. Very responsive. Made me aware of issue or delays and new timelines. Every date he gave me was spot on. He even made sure we knew when features we were excited about were completed so we could come seem and make sure they were exactly as we had planned.

We were moving from California. Bryan made the process as easy as possible, he was very helpful and responded to any questions or concerns 7 days a week. Trevor was very professional and has high standards of workmanship on the home. The couple little things that have come up via warranty in our first 6 weeks Trevor was right on top of it and took care of the issue no problem. I would definitely do business with both of these gentlemen again.

The buying process was good. I felt the preferred lenders were a little aggressive. The builder listened to my comments and concerns through the building process. Although, sometimes I had to give reminders. The sales/building team had regular calls which was great since we were not nearby. My biggest issue has been the yard. The yard was put in early May. We closed at the end of May. It is now almost the end of July and the yard is still on a punch out list and not addressed. That has been very disappointing - as I like a good looking yard and they knew it was important to me. Now that I am spending my own money to make additions and reduce Beazer's responsibility - I may get something done - but I am still waiting. ... More

Was a very quick and easy process from choosing the home, choosing the site choosing the finishes and then watching it be built.

I selected Beazer due to the great sales person , location, and focus on quality and energy savings. I loved the community and selected Beazer over the other options in the community and over a larger home in another community for the same price. . I was pleased I could break my initial deposit into 3 equal installments. I believed my sales lady wanted to help me and she wasn’t pushy. She was always friendly and professional every time I came by to look at the model homes or had a question. I liked that they had several lenders that they used to help provide the best loan for me. It wasn’t until my first meeting with the builder that I learned that the lot I selected and already put the deposit on has a 14 ft utility easement. I think I should have been told that before I put the money down. I was kept informed / updated throughout the building process through weekly emails. My questions were answered. On the final walkthrough I learned my sales person no longer was working in my community ( I learned later she was not with Beazer, I didn’t know this either) . On closing day , which was a bit earlier than anticipated, I was informed that my home and the home next door were the fastest builds. I can now see why. Instead of hurrying to get things done early—-take the extra one- two weeks to check things - I have had to call on several items (not emergencies) but things that should have been taken care of if not in such a hurry. The following items are all less than 60 days from closing :clothes rod too short so when clothes were hanging it fell, brick broken, tape left on all recess lights inside and out, toilet paper holder not installed and the other was wobbly, transition plate not meeting up with the flooring, rotting fence boards, doors not correctly painted. This is just some to name a few. I have great service from the warranty person to get things fixed. My neighbors moved in and THEIR Beazer builder had the lawn people come mow a week after moving in ( the neighbors didn’t know/ didn’t request it— the lawn people just showed up). Additionally they now have a nice welcome home from Beazer sign in their yard. These things matter and make the company stand out. HOWEVER I did not receive either. So that’s a bit disheartening. Any reviews I gave up until now have been 5 stars, but as I reflect on the overall experience especially after getting in the home, unfortunately my rating be 4 ( maybe 3.5). ... More

Easy experience and great quality home

Beazer was great even after buying the house, making sure that all small adjustments were made in the house to satisfy our family.

My family loves our new home. The craftmanship along with its energy efficiency makes our home sound. We love the coziness will help us make memories for years to come.

We have had a great experience with Beazer

In 46 years of marriage this was our 17th move and we are quite satisfied with the quality and functionality of our Zion home plan. However when we contracted for the this purchase it was unfortunate that Beazer homes did not have a Zion model home at Burson Ranch for us to view or walk thru, we had to drive to North Las Vegas to see a model. Another downfall of Beazer Homes is that we were never supplied with or able to find a complete listing of available options for this model. The young salesman who handled our purchase, who is no longer with Beazer Homes, apparently did not have a good working knowledge of the product and product features available to potential buyers. Since occupying our home four weeks ago we are learning from our new neighbors of options we were never told of from the sales personnel. From selecting my lot, designing the home and closing everything was stress free.

Beazer is by far the most flexible, open and honest builder I've come across. They work for you to get you what you want without nickel and diming you like other builders. They also build a quality home fast and guarantee their work. They have many options with pricing at the ready, no hassle, and their lot premiums are not inflated. The Design center experience was less stressful and lengthy as I anticipated and we got it all done in a day. (Beazer makes it easy as they include a lot of design choices before you even get there.) We have had many issues in our new home, some of which we are still waiting on being resolved. This whole process of moving into a brand new home you might as well get used to the idea that it's not going to be perfect. Everyone has issues with there new homes, but we have had more issues than anybody should have in a new house. Siding issues, plumbing issues, drywall issues, flooring installed poorly, dishwasher not hooked up from builder, windows hard to open even after repair, air conditioning issues on first floor, sewage backup after 1 month, and on and on. The warranty department is slowly fixing issues. All and all I would only give Beazer a 2 star. Quality is lacking in these homes. Speed seams to be the main goal here. ... More

The care that went into building the home was not up to our expectations. We had to many issues with trash and food being left in the walls of the home when building. Once we moved in, we started to notice that nothing was painted on the underside. Window seals, ledges, counter areas. The caulking in every room must be re done, it is all pulling away and creating gaps. The AC does not cool all the rooms the same. Three room are much warmer that the master bedroom or the living room. The issue with having to have a pool pass, and then having to drive a hour away to go get it one is beyond aggravating. We love our home even with its issues we are having to deal with, but I think I would have shopped around more if I had to do it all again. ... More

James the contractor was spectacular.

Sales office people were rude and disrespectful after we signed on . We were told very rudely that we were going to loose our house because we haven't had enough activity on the sale of our existing home . Designer Susan is unprofessional. Told me not to go way out with my color scheme because they might have to resell my home . Seriousl?. When we signed on we were told we would get a sign on option credit ,we choose to use it on 3rd car garage. In the end we paid for it. So unhappy. The only decent people are Dave the builder and Bill from customer care.

We had an excellent buying experience with our Beazer Sales representative as well as the construction supervisor. Your sales rep. was very professional and knowledgeable and made the purchasing process quite comfortable. The construction supervisor his crew did a great job on the construction and addressed any questions or concerns quickly and completely. Both were very accessible and responsive. This was very important as it was the first time we have had a new home built. We love the Camden model and look forward to a great retirement in Spring Mill.

We bought a home that the builder built with no buyer. They chose all of the options and lot. While we love the floor plan and the options, the workers attention to detail is definitely lacking. Things like the bathroom lights not covering the holes in the wall, paint splattered all over our hardwood floor, nicks and dings everywhere. Stay on top of them!

Good experience over all

My home buying process was timely, friendly and exceptional customer service was demonstrated from the first visit to the Beazer Homes sales office. Follow-up and staying in touch throughout the process was exceptional. I am Grateful for the clear and detailed home- buying process. There was a celebration on the day of closing!!
