If you are considering buying a Beazer home, you will get a well constructed home. The building supervisor, Colton did a great job at seeing that our home was a quality built home. He addressed our concerns and questions. The appliances in the Beazer homes are below standard unless one upgrades them. We purchased our home after it was framed therefore no upgrades were allowed except for flooring. Our side by side refrigerator doors and door handles were uneven. A repair person was sent out and he was able to align the doors however not the handles. The handles were still slightly uneven. We were told that the handles were within tolerance, therefore nothing else would be done. The washer is of poor quality which does not lend to a good quality washing of one’s clothes. There is not dispensers for the detergent and softener. The detergent and softener are poured directly into the washer tub. The softener has not affect on your clothes since it goes in and is rinsed out with the detergent. The toilets are builder grade and not the ADA height. A few weeks before we closed, my husband suffered a stroke and seizure. After that is when I realized that the toilets were not ADA height. I asked if the toilets could be switched out to ADA height toilets because of my husband’s condition. I was told that could not done because we were within a week of closing. We were willing to pay for the toilets. It wasn’t like we were asking Beazer to bear the cost. My response to them was “Gosh sorry my husband didn’t plan the timing of his stroke and seizure to fit into your time frame”. Being unhappy with the quality of the refrigerator, washer and toilets, i spoke with the Area Manager to try to reach an agreement regarding our dissatisfaction. Still not being satisfied with his response, I asked to speak with the area manager’s boss who is the VP of Operations. I received an email from her, not a phone call. Due to this being an unprofessional manner to respond to an unhappy home owner, I responded to her email and asked that she please call me so we could further discuss my concerns. I never received a call from her. This is totally unacceptable customer service. While Beazer builds a quality home, beware of the quality of the appliances and toilets. Be especially aware of their lack of concern for an unhappy home owner and lack of customer service. ... More

First, a shout-out to Cynthia and Shawn. Cynthia made the sales process smooth and enjoyable. She was and is super-responsive and easily reachable at all times. Shawn, the super who runs the construction side of the operation, was super as well. Guy is great from ground-breaking to walk-thru and beyond. He communicated with us regularly during the build, sent photos to keep us updated as to progress, and he seems to be here on site 24 hours a day. The townhome itself is great. I’m actually amazed that in November, the home has maintained a 28-degree differential with outside temp with no heat on. Several mornings 38 degrees outside and 66 degrees inside. Homes are tight. Moved in about 2 months ago. I’m not a shill for Beazer. I’ve owned homes built by 4 other production builder and worked for one as well, Beazer does a really nice home. From the first viewing of the model units to the Closing Day, there were three different sales people involved; however, two of them periodically emailed progress photos that were helpful. Generally, there was an overall lack of pertinent information and follow-through. The quality of the build was explained in detail during a construction progress site visit but at the end, there was a distinct cutting of corners in the details and interior finishes that are sadly outdated; yes, this is a 55+ community but not all of the buyers are from our grandmother's generation.

Jessica is the most capable woman I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. She has all the answers for any inquiry and such a friendly and outgoing demeanor. And, since moving in we have had very positive results with Rudy, who is quick to follow up on any issue that may occur.

The Ridge townhomes are well built based on professional mid-construction installations. Beazer employees were truly interested in helping purchase through design and build. They all were happy to teach me about the home’s design and energy saving features. This was as stress-free of a process as it could be. Very happy with this home and community!

We appreciate the quality and attention to detail. We wanted a home that would truly last us a lifetime. We appreciate the use of 2x6’s in construction of the framing. Love the superior level of insulation and the myriad of options to choose from. The staff is great ; from Jessica the home advisor, to Lonnie the project manager, to Rudy our warranty representative. They kept us informed and were eager to handle anything we needed.

All where very helpful and always making sure we where equipped with all the information we needed.

Purchase and construction went quick and smooth. I am a home improvement contractor so I know a bit about building and construction. The drywall finish is not the greatest, but overall the build quality was better than I expected from a mass production builder. I was particularly happy with the energy efficiency features included at no charge. The only negative was the title company used for closing. It was a horrible mess and we nearly postponed closing because the title company didn't give us our settlement sheet until the day of. Hopefully Beezer will part ways with this company. Overall bad buying experience from start to finish.

The whole process from start to finish was seamless, stress-free and smooth! Huge shout-out to Elisa and Steve who were incredible throughout our home-buying journey. They were both prompt, thorough, efficient and completely supportive of us. If we were to do it all over again, we most definitely choose Beazer and the team that worked with us.

Tony takes care of everything, he will go over the house with you with super nice patience. After you live in, he will also maintain all the issues that you need. Strongly recommend Tony to be your home consultant

As a first time home buyer I was well informed and educated throughout the process. I felt that I was in great hands with Tony and that I could trust him 100%. He was open and addressed all of my concerns. Tony was helpful and resourceful. He made my homebuying experience less stressful and always cared about my needs.

Purchased in March 2024 and closed in September 2024 at Chase Oaks in Delaware. The experience was great from pre-purchase through closing. Sales was very accommodating and construction kept us well informed, no surprises. We’ve only been in the house a month, but construction seems to have been done well. House is quiet and temperatures are even, likely due to the use of spray foam, 2x6 construction, inclusion of a fresh air system and decent windows. We’ve had a few issues since closing, mainly related to third-party supplier products, but the warranty service, which is done in house at Beazer and not by a third party, has been super responsive, including after hours. If I had one suggestion it would be to offer a little more automation in the form of WiFi thermostats-downstairs thermostat has WiFi capability, but oddly upstairs doesn’t-smart switches/lights and smart front door lock. The overall maintenance of this community is awesome! Very little, if any debris left hanging around due to the construction workers. Neighbors are pretty much to themselves, yet they are personable. I feel quite safe, happy and comfortable in this community. Everything continues to look brand new and the neighbors are very good at the upkeep of their property!

I'm delighted to share that the experience of purchasing my family's first home went rather smoothly and without issue. Stephanie our sales rep was always timely in getting back to us and answered our questions and concerns. I truly thought she had our best interests in mind throughout the process. Also, the Builders that we worked with Pierre and Shawn were knowledgeable about every nook and cranny in the house and always answered my questions. Even after we moved in Shawn took the time to knock on our door to make sure everything was going alright with our property. I've heard plenty of horror stories about working with unpleasant salesmen and women along with impatient and less-than-satisfactory builders. We purchased this unit for it's location. We are on the 4th floor(top) and it has 10'5" ceilings in most of the unit, but not in the great room where you would have expected it to be! The paint / finish work is poor. The sales process was helped greatly by Jessica. For the price the quality really wasn't there but we wanted the location

From the initial sales experience, setting the right timeline, the building process, the communication, the quality of the home, to the after move-in quality control. I am extremely happy with the whole experience. Everyone was very kind and helpful in answering my questions and/or concerns. I love my new home!

We recently moved into our new Beazer home and absolutely love it! From beginning we knew we made the right choice. The buying process was fantastic and the building process was seamless because D is amazing! Would totally recommend this company to others!

I rented a townhome in Deep Harbour and after a few weeks decided I would take a look at a few completed units that were for sale. Cynthia and my buyers agent and myself took a tour and after, I made an offer on a unit that was just begining construction. Cynthia was really knowledgable and helped me through the process of picking out the features and finishes for my new unit. My daughter and I really enjoyed the experience at the design center. I was out of the area during most of the time the unit was under construction but I was informed of the progress throughout the summer. Shawn went above and behind by sending me construction updates and photos and when I returned gave me a tour. The inspection just prior to closing was very thorough and Shawn has continued to help me with any questions or concerns. ... More
