Easy purchasing process

The house was generally good but some things were finished in a sloppy manner and the builder is not very flexible in changing or adding things before closing. Overall I am happy with the house.

What I liked most is Beazer made it a point to call every Wednesday. I did not need to build any Anxiety wondering what was going on with the build. They had weekly updates and they called close to the same time each week. I also could have very friendly conversations with them. Sometimes I would get excited and get a little chatty but they were never rude. They would listen and still answer every question that I asked a hundred times. I believed they really valued my business.

Delayed process, poor communication, been in home for over a month and there are still repairs that they have not Come back to fix (after telling us they would during final walk through). Can’t trust anything anyone says. So much work falls on you as the home buyer, to hold these people accountable. Doesn’t help having company turnover throughout the process...should’ve known to back out when employees of Beazer were leaving.

Kenny & Lonna were great throughout the whole process. They answered questions and provided weekly updates along with progress pictures. We appreciate the flexibility and transparency while building out of state. So far the home is awesome & energy efficient. We love our Beazer home!

Disappointed with some of the choices taken. Bought a spec home, so we didn't go through the build process with Beazer - but it's clear that the quality of materials and workmanship is basic at best. - Laminate flooring that is fine - except how unlevel it is. - Certain tile and countertop selections that are impossible to keep clean (cheap?). - Doors that are so lightweight that every time the AC shuts off, they vibrate. - A really cool microwave that is built into the cabinets of the island ... except its just the cheap one that has a swing open door - not a drawer ... so you have ...

Worst Buying Experience Ever

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had buying a home. When I inquired on a Friday about purchasing a new build home, I was informed there were no lots in the first phase that would accommodate the house I wanted, but that they would be opening the second phase soon. Surprisingly the next Monday I was told that lots had opened up in Phase 2! The lot I was interested, well, someone else had expressed interest in it to so I needed to hurry. I signed a contract on Tuesday, March 18th and was told construction would start in May and the house would be ready in October. May comes around ...

Well Built Home At An Affordable Price!

Looked at numerous new homes from many builders in Cane Bay and found we liked the house built by Beazer the best. The outside had clean lines with subtle accents and the inside had really nice finishing touches. A couple of really minor issues were noticed after we moved in, and the Beazer team on-site were very quick to come by the house to see if they could fix it right away. If they could not fix it then and there, they set the process in motion to remedy the problem as soon as possible. We would definitely buy another home from Beazer!

Not happy with Beazer Homes!

I like my home, but the problem is that my car was damaged by a Beezer subcontractor and Beazer has made no effort to rectify the situation. The repair cost is minimal to the car, it's the principal that Beazer does not accept responsibility for it's subcontractors. Considering this I do not encourage anyone to buy a Beazer home.

We were told we had a contract on one of their homes. On the drive back to the state we live in still was told we had the contract. Get home five hours later and told her we lost the home. Pick a new home explained how we needed to move quickly because we thought we were getting the other home and our current home had sold. They said we would close within two weeks it was a month! This was our worst experience ever purchasing a home and we have done this 11 times.

First of all, the location is perfect. Just off I-526 and minutes from Charleston, Mount Pleasant, and North Charleston. The homes are quality with solid construction. A visitor to my new Beazer home commented "the stairs don't even creak". I love the styles - reflective of the Lowcountry.
