We had a frustrating experience with Beazer Homes during the purchase of our new home. Despite some positive interactions with the construction manager, several issues have left a sour taste. Unresolved Issues 1. Unauthorized changes to contract: A random broker's name was added to our contract without our consent. Beazer then removed their own name and re-added it at closing, which felt deceptive. 2. _Restrictions on customizations_: We were not allowed to make changes to the home, such as paint or carpet upgrades. 3. _Poor yard conditions_: The backyard is prone to flooding, has poor drainage, and is infested with mosquitoes. 4. _Lack of cabinets_: The home was designed without cabinets near the fireplace, which was a significant oversight. 5. _Delays_: The home was completed a month late, which caused inconvenience and stress. 6. _Outdated appliances_: 1. _Water heaters_: The water heaters are outdated and cannot connect to the internet for monitoring and control. 2. _HVAC thermostats_: The thermostats were outdated and needed immediate replacement. 7. _Limited storage space_: The home has very little storage space, making it difficult to organize and maintain. 8. _Subpar security system_: The Honeywell alarm controller is poorly designed, difficult to use, and essentially worthless. Positive Experience with Construction Manager 1. _Help with blind issue_: The construction manager intervened to resolve an issue with Beazer trying to renege on providing blinds. 2. Efforts to make things right: The construction manager worked diligently to address issues and make things right after the home was completed. Mark and Belinda were awesome! They were able to help answer all questions and guided us through the whole process. Items left to be completed were done in a timely manner. If you are looking for your new home they will get the job done.

We had an awesome realtor who kept us well informed along the way. Had several issues when closing but all were fixed timely. Love living here with all the great facilities.

We purchased in Amira Tomball and were paired with an exceptional team. Our sales rep was extremely direct and informative, answered our questions honestly and we never felt mislead or misinformed. Our design center designer provided the perfect amount of opinions to help us select the perfect finishes for our home. Our construction project manager was hands down the best. Kept us informed every step of the way, and only missed his targeted deadline by 2 weeks (which in new construction is amazing!). Buying a new home is already a stressful process, and to add new construction increases that stress, but the team at Beazer did a fantastic job of not adding to that. Darren the builder really cares and adds a personal touch by being available to answer any and all concerns. His follow through is amazing and he ensures everything is addressed if it needs. He treated my home as if it was his own home!

My wife and I purchased our new Beazer home in late October. Chris, David, & Brittany from the Beazer Group helped make our home purchase and move-in experience very pleasant. Our new home and neighborhood are amazing! We knew we had found our dream home the first time we saw it. Timber Hallow is a conveniently located neighborhood and we absolutely love it here.

A great home buying experience

My choose of Beazer plan is the Hickory French Exterior. I was inspired, anxious and determined to purchase the home of my dream. Wasn't easy for me I have to sell my home in California, encountered hardship on selling it My Beazer home was finished and ready for walk through but my home in California was not sold yet. Beazer builder team did so much work, to meet walked through and closing. I was told my home would be ready toward the end of July and finally took possession Sept 30. It doesn’t seem that the trades have supervisory positions to follow up on work performed. Whole walls unpainted, tile floors that are tripping hazards due to uneven installation, outlet sheet rocked over. The drivewaya are dug up due to water leaks and repaired one section at a time so half the driveways in our area are patchwork. Poor quality workmanship. The folks at Beazer’s have been very nice but the trades people need more skilled workers. This house didn’t come at starter home prices per sq ft so the quality should have been there. ... More

Ken from the sales team was great and very knowledgable on all the homes, he was able to understand our needs. Eric on the construction side has been great to work with. No new home is perfect, and after we moved in Eric has made sure to address any items we brought to him in a timely matter, ensuring our home is up to standards. Highly recommend!

The purchase was easy. Everyone from inspection, orientation and after the sale were professional and helpful. The home has all the best features and the construction is great. The orientation helped to get all the utilities and services arranged. The companies that put in the features have been very responsive and helpful. Excellent experience buying a Beazer Home.

Jason and Eric were very helpful, informative, and patient with us during the whole process. It did take a little longer to move in then we wanted because of the back load of concrete trucks to lay the foundation...but building a solid good quality home in less then 4 months is still amazing. Very happy and satisfied with Beazers home building!

Home is pretty much as expected but has taken months to find out how to get warranty repairs done and just as long to get the repairs done. Beazer needs to put something in place to make new buyers aware at closing or before on how to handle warranty claims and repairs. This is our second Beazer home but definitely wouldn't make the mistake again!

Amanda was very helpful and efficient in selling us a new home in Amira. She’s not pushy and understood what we were looking for. The craftsmanship in some areas of the home is certainly lacking, but Eric has gone the extra mile to make sure the home is up to our standards and any mistakes are fixed.
