From start to finish and even after moving in, Beazer has provided world-class service. My husband and I researched several builders in the Katy area and took many different tours, but none aligned with our priorities the way Beazer did. We were looking for a home that didn't feel like the building time was rushed, had a great location, and was affordable. The energy efficiency saves us some money monthly and the home itself was in our price range with the bed and bath count we were looking for. Beazer is the worst builder in the Nation. Customer Experience and Customer Satisfaction isn’t a focus for Beazer. No Accountable and Ownership with Beazer. Communication and Followup is horrible. Beazer doesn’t hold there Employees accountable. Beazer supports employees not doing their job properly. There is lack of Professionalism, Communication, Accountability, Turn time. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to purchase from Beazer.

This was the second Beazer home I have purchased in the last 7 years. When I knew I needed to make a change, I spent some time deciding what I wanted to do. I was disappointed to see the reduced options Beazer was offering as compared to my previous purchase, but at the end of the day decided to go with them again based on my previous experience and primarily due to their energy efficient options. I will say they did work with me and allowed a few changes that were not being offered originally as the neighborhood I was looking at was one where Beazer had decided to “offer a few and build many”. In other words, you can only choose one of five themes and you got whatever Beazer had decided went in that theme with only a minimal amount of options available to change. I have been really disappointed with the quality of work as compared to my experience 7 years ago. They appear to be more focused on how many homes are being built as opposed to the quality. I was close enough that I had the opportunity to visit the building site every week. There were some issues during the process that caught my eye, including them cutting out some drywall after it was installed in order to make some repairs. I was told it was due to their still trying to get their subcontractors up to speed with their new requirements. I still don’t understand why the issue wasn’t noticed before the drywall went up other than they’re moving too fast. Even though I had an inspector come in and several things were addressed before I loved in, there is just a lot of sloppy workmanship throughout the house (paint splatters on the time floors, messy caulking and they didn’t even bite to clean the styrofoam out of the glass ball pendant lights before putting the mm up) and I had to submit a handful of warranty requests within the first week or so after moving in. One was because all of the door knobs were falling off. Another sign to me of the quality of the subcontractors work. I am just really disappointed in the quality of the workmanship on my new house compared to the one they built 7 years ago. My new home is modern and absolutely beautiful. Equally as important, it came at an affordable price! Many say building a new home is stressful, but Beazer has a step-by-step process that makes it easier to manage and FUN! There are warranties in effect after you own your home, and a customer service contact for any questions you have. Rich and Elisa were absolutely a delight to work with. I highly recommend Beazer Homes.

2nd Beazer home I have purchased and built was better than the first. We love all the teams that made it possible. to build again.

Since I moved in it’s been one headache after another. After a week and a half of sticking bandaids on things after I moved in the entire hot water heater needed replacing, as well as a breaker and toilet. My lights constantly flicker and my ceiling fan makes noises and wakes me up at night. The service providers Beazer recommends are awful as well. I have not had 1 week of uninterrupted internet service since I moved in. I work from home. The energy savings they were so proud to sell to me have not materialized even a little. I feel like I was taken for a ride.

All around an amazing experience

As a first time buyer, the experience could have been better. Everything looks beautiful, until you look closer. After moving in I discovered so many little sloppy mistakes. Take my advise, on your walk through day, spend the entire day and look in every corner and behind every toilet on the floor. There was a piece of my fireplace that was chipped off and all they did was paint over it. There were tiles behind the toilets that weren’t grouted and much more. The houses are beautiful but the details were done so sloppy. If I could do it again I would scrutinize the details.

The overall experience was great! The engineering supervisor, Beazer sales contact kept us in the loop with the start, progression, and completion of our home. Our design center representative was very knowledgeable about the designs available and assisted with decisions we struggled with during the selection process. The team made the experience stress-free. We live our Beazer home!
