Shelley and John have walked us and helped us through the process and took there time explaining everything making multiple trips to help us do to my job! But now 1 month in, paint is bubbling and chipping off on the outside of the house, and the warranty guy is not helping at all with the problem. Door handles are falling off and the painted our house with the wrong color and they said they will come and fix it when we see spots of the other color and have only came once. And did not get everything we had marked.

Our experience was amazing. Everyone we came in contact with answered all of our questions. Information that was given to us so extremely helpful. The whole process was easy and enjoyable…

Within the first month of the house it was nothing but problem after problems. Once inside of the home the problems start with my concrete no being properly power washed and fence already being broken. A couple weeks after that a pipe broke on the causing the drain the get clog and having every bathroom having water rising but the bathtub, toilet, and shower. We call to have the warranty cover all of it but has been almost two weeks and the job still isn’t done and after all that’s done the carpet will have to be replaced because of the plumbing issues. In the mist of repair all of that the garage continues to be an issue this is the third time now we have complained about the garage not being able to work. So far it has been the first home purchase I have done and honestly makes me regret ever buying a beaver home. ... More

The house is nice in all, but the floor is squeaking upstairs, they repaired it but after it still squeaks. They put the wrong dishwasher, I haven’t notice before and now I don’t know if they will replace it.

From start to finish Beazer Homes has you covered. They walk you thru step by step not missing a beat to make the process of buying smooth. They go above and beyond to make sure this life event is a happy one you will remember for ever. But wait it doesn't stop after your closing day, Beazer Homes continously check up on you to make sure your quality home is up to your standards after moving day. The warranties that come with the house is exceptional, simply call or email in to customer service and the problem is resolved in under a week. Great work from a thoughtful builder.

We had a great experience building a home with Beazer. Our builder, Ruben, frequently communicated updates on the status of our home and upcoming milestones. We’re excited to have moved in. The neighborhood continues to grow and we look forward to many years in our Beazer home.

The build processes was quick and painless. JB was all over everything we needed to be done and kept us updated every step of the way. He is super busy all of the time but will always make time for you when you need him.

Didn’t like how they used white caulk everywhere, especially outside on brown brick.

I especially enjoyed the ability to visit multiple times and ask questions pertaining to the building process and technical aspects of the various interior appliances. I continue to adjust to the different heating and tankless systems; the team has been very responsive to all questions and concerns. I suggest placing a light above the bathroom mirror in the second bathroom as it is difficult to apply facial makeup without this lighting. I have also added towel bars and towel rings to both bathrooms for convenience. It would be convenient to have a wider driveway as it is difficult to fit a truck and a car at the same time. ... More

This was so important due to us living in Minnesota at the time. The entire Beazer team was personal, professional and knowledgeable. We wouldn’t hesitate recommending Beazer homes to anyone. The end result is a beautiful quality built home that you will love!

Wonderful home buying experience from start to finish! I couldn’t be happier with my New Beazer Home! Customer service is phenomenal before, during, and after the home purchase. The Beazer Duet Messina is a great option for us and we are excited about living here. It’s a very good house. However, that next level of care was missing. The home was never cleaned properly despite multiple requests, so we did it ourselves. And lots of little details in the finish work suggest speed was more important than quality (e.g., painting, grouting, landscaping). I understand the business, but I wish the finish work was done with greater care.

Sales person was the best information wise.

For the home price, workers should pay more attention to details. Trim work painting and caulking is bad. Back porch concrete left stained and chipped. Cleaning team needs to do a better job. Had to vacuum my cabinets left with debris and clean the tub. Kitchen sink had scratches. Overall content with our home, just wish someone would pay more attention to details.

This home was poorly built and was lazily finished, so many spots missing caulk and paint. Hard to get a hold of anyone to get it fixed. My bathroom mirror was installed incorrectly and randomly came crashing down one day, luckily my pets weren’t in there.

From the moment we stepped into the show home in Amira we truly enjoyed working with everyone employed at Beazer. The people we worked with were fantastic from the very start of the home-buying process. It all started with the sweet but also very well-informed and professional Ms. Shelley in your sales office. We knew we were in good hands with her from day one based on her positive attitude and obvious depth of knowledge. Once we were beyond the beginning sales steps we moved into planning our build and the initial phases of construction. At that point, Shelley introduced us to your homebuilding veteran, James. It was evident from the beginning that we were in the hands of someone that really knew the ropes when it came to managing the start of our build so we were able to move forward with confidence. This brings us to the last phase of our home being constructed and, come to find out for us anyways, the very stressful and crucial completion phase of construction. This is when we were introduced to, John. John would be the build manager who would finish our home (I think of him as the “closer”). I’ll touch on John again later, but he was the icing on the Beazer cake. We never met anyone with anything less than a smiling face and an upbeat attitude. Based on my experience with Beazer it’s an easy 5 stars on the personnel front. On to the experience of our home being built. Our build hit a few snags along the way related to both access to building materials and the general speed of construction. Beyond that, somewhere near the midway point of our home being built, we started getting the sense that our home became more of a number on a piece of paper and less of a specific home being built for a specific family. While I can understand how these types of things can happen over an extended build process (we’re all human at the end of the day) there were some considerations that we would have liked to have seen factored in which might have led to our home being prioritized and potentially avoided this issue. The main consideration relates to factoring in who is buying the home and what are the surrounding circumstances. To better expound on this point I’ll walk through what I would have hoped to see. A part of the decision I made while selecting Beazer as my builder came from the idea that Beazer was looking to provide a more hands-on personal experience with families considering their homes. With that mindset in place when we initially started our build my hope was that since our potential end date fell just beyond when the school year started that families with children starting at new schools might have been marked for consideration by Beazer if/when the weighing of any potential for builds to be prioritized was discussed. In fairness to Beazer, I will note that I understand that most home buyers are likely to push for “more and faster” so I understand this is a more complicated subject than I have had the ability to address here, and I also realize that I made some assumptions within my expectations from Bezaer, but nonetheless this was my experience. I also don’t view this as much more than a minor stumbling block and it's not connected with any individuals in specific. Rather this is just my feedback for Beazer that might potentially be considered when trying to solve for improvements to their customer experience on a macro level. In the grand scheme of things, the bulk of my varying frustration and stress levels related to the general construction delays during our build. Those delays would have potentially lowered my overall experience rating into the 3 1/2 to 4-star range. However, the attention we received from our Beazer team and specifically our lead builder John throughout the last couple of months of our build made all the difference in the world. John was able to ensure our home was prioritized in the queue of homes being constructed and that attention ultimately led to our home finishing ahead of schedule. Based on the decisions of our Beazer team and the tremendous effort from John I feel as though a 5 star rating is warranted. The huge amount of relief it provided my family was truly appreciated as we did our best to navigate the stressful and cumbersome transition from our former home/schools in another part of Houston to our new home/schools in Amira. The reduced timeframe really mattered. My last bit of feedback is just that the home itself has been fantastic. We have had a few small issues that John has addressed quickly and professionally that have been resolved. We have also had a few sales/business-related items that Shelley has been responsive to and we are currently closing those out as well. At the end of the day, we love our beautiful new Beazer home in Amira! Keep putting the best people you can in positions to serve your customers and even with a few bumps in the road I think Beazer will continue to find success. ... More

The whole process was pretty much seamless. There was no hassle even in the initial negotiation and all the way through into closing. Everyone was and has been really professional and helpful, even after closing! I highly recommend the team and the company for your housing needs.
