The house purchase process was awesome. Some hiccups came up and Vilente and Meagan were amazing. We have been in the home for 6 weeks. We have had some issues with the shelves falling, needed painting, cracks in the base boards, etc. when the shelf fell no one responded to our out reach. I asked Vilente to intervene and he got us a response. It still took a few days but the shelf has been reinstalled correctly. The wood is still exposed. There has been another 3 weeks and NO work has been done to the other items. This home is very expensive and the warranty items that are builder related are not being cared for. ... More

Overall the process was good. The quality of the workmanship for the price we paid is disappointing. Very inconsistent workmanship and finishes. Quality of appliances is also disappointing. However, Michael H. and Jason B. were great to work with!

The build needs effective Quility Cotroller who can check all steps. The office manager and his teams are very cooperative doing great.

I am not happy with the warranty service. Recommend doing your own walkthrough with an un biased expert before you close. Service post closing is slow to non existent j

When we first started with the building of our home, things were going very well. Even after the ice storm, we felt everyone involved was working with a purpose on our home. We received updates almost weekly. Closing was set for the end of June/early July, but as we all know, that's date is always tentative. With that information, we sold the home we were living in during the month of July, and the buyer agreed that we wouldn't have to lease it back until the end of Aug if we happen to still be there. Closing on the new home did get pushed back to July/early Aug. Still, no major worry, however we decided to start going by more frequently to check how it was coming along. Glad. We. Did!!!! We didn't close until the end of Aug! We quickly realized that the property manager wasn't really managing to the best of his ability. Now don't get me wrong. I understand he has a TON of houses to keep an eye on. But how does one forget to put a window in? How do you forget to come back and finish the installation in the attic?? And so many other "little" things in his eyes. We love out new home. We really do. But we are having to have the builder come back to fix soooo many things AFTER closing. I'm guessing they felt rushed at the end, but a week or 2 would go by without anything new being done to the home. We didn't want to be those folks that had something to say every step of the way, but maybe we should have. They are doing their best to make and keep us happy, and we appreciate that. Disappointed in the quality of craftsmanship which was one of the main reasons we went with Bloomfield vs another builder as the model homes were nice. Wish that craftsmanship was displayed in our build

It is a beautiful home!

Now that we have experienced a hard freeze in the house I’m very disappointed in the insulation and the lack of insulation on the water lines. We have been without power for 24hrs and the water lines are frozen this is with 18in of insulation. The window all have condensation on them on the inside!!! The master bath toilet light has burnt out!! Mind you we have lived here for 3 months. The thought process of running water lines in the attic only keeps them warm when you heat is working!!! As in heat rises but without heat they will and are frozen. The hot water pipes even have black foam insulation on them and they are still frozen. Other than that the house seems to be sufficient. There were some delays during the building process. Overall they honored my wishes and made the process smooth. I Love my new home! I would recommend Bloomfield Homes to anyone!

While the buying of the home was very easy the repair of things missed was not. This is my 3rd Bloomfield home and I would recommend them to anyone.

We bought our home, it did not appraise and we weren’t told until the 11th hour of the sale. We have outstanding issues with the fire place that we can’t get resolved in the coldest months of the year.

Bad service to warranty concerns. The homebuyer must know maintenance of floor based on flooring before hand. Absurd. No maintenance discussed or disclosed.

If the quality of the home matched the price or if this wasn’t a new build the review wouldn’t be bad but considering it’s a new build and high price I shouldn’t be fighting to get hole repaired.

Paul, Sandy, Ty and Jason were very responsive. During most of the construction I visited every day and was very impressed with the build. If I noticed anything unusual I would bring it to their attention and it was addressed- thanks. My only disappointment came with how the workers would toss their trash and construction debris into the front yard and then mash into the ground with the bulldozer, and it becomes a landfill. It doesn’t allow for the soaker hoses to absorb the water and when planting new shrubs, trees or anything often there will be debris in the ground. My suggestion would be invest in trash cans for the workers and trash containers to toss the debris in to avoid creating landfills, especially in the front yard. ... More

Great company and quality home builders.

What stood out the most in this homebuying process was the people we encountered. From start to finish, they were caring, listened to our concerns, coached us along the way, and made us feel as if we were the only homebuyers in the world. Although we experience delays due to supply chain issues, I wouldn’t change anything. I’m all about service. From the day we walked into the model home to express interest, to the day we picked up our keys to move in, the Bloomfield team was simply amazing! From the start, they listened to our concerns regarding our contract as we were previously under contract which was canceled without notice from another builder. The Bloomfield team assured us that our contract would not be canceled on their end under any circumstances. I was still skeptical but my gut told me I could trust this builder and I’m glad I did!!! ... More

Excellent home value, and quality worksmanship!

There were no delays in building our home. The purchase and construction process was a pleasant experience. There are a few things we noticed after we moved in that we are not happy with.

Great sale experience. Easy to make changes as time progressed. However, more attention to detail would be recommended. I feel this would cut down on future warranty claims as we are dealing with now. I understand true perfection is not attainable in anything, but some things are truly obvious with workmanship. No need to cut corners on the trades end. I will say, everything was addressed by the project manager that was brought to his attention in a timely manner. Overall, good experience.

Our house was delivered on time and the closing process was quick and easy.

Bloomfield Homes exceeded our expectations, thanks to Jeff and Josh. Jeff's knowledge and flexibility helped us navigate the process with ease, while Josh's construction expertise and friendly demeanor made our experience stress-free. We appreciate their professionalism and would wholeheartedly recommend them to anyone looking for a hassle-free experience.

The Builder has made our home buying experience a lot smoother. We are first time home buyer and had no idea how the process works and what are all the steps involved, but the builder guided us through and have helped us each step of the way. We are very happy with it and would definitely recommend Bloomfield Homes
