Name: Sam The dishwasher is very basic. It do not even perform dry after washing. Atleast give better grade products for high priced house. Similarly many such products are basic.

Atleast you have to use tankless water heater. Doors and paints are less quality materials.

Good home slow on repairs. Our home was not cleaned upon more in, allot of broken glass was in our carpet. We should be granted a free house cleaning.

I am overall happy with our experience with Bloomfield Homes. We decided to select them since were willing to make a few custom changes for us, but it was unfortunate those items had to be managed by myself! Our so called project manager dropped the ball so many times I had to ask Community Manager who is really managing this construction. We selected the Carolina IV floor plan, but here are our top 10 items for future buyers to consider (especially those in master bathroom): 1) The entry rotunda lacks a closet if that’s important feature. 2) The master bathroom lacks a linen closet and were surprised the master walk-in closet did not have shelves built for that purpose. 3) The master bathroom had just one small towel bar and really no other location to install a second one. 4) The master bathroom shower entrance: Really don’t like the step down possible trip hazard as stubbed toe a few times now. 5) The kitchen cabinet toe kick pocket is not tall enough for vacuum to fit as it appears the cabinet height wasn’t raised up to accommodate the ceramic tile thickness! 6) The 2nd and 3rd bathrooms cabinets lack an upper drawer. 7) We learned at closing that gutters (on a 580k house) were an opinion but no one mentioned that when we were specifying options and models showed them included. 8) The only possible storage room in this floor plan is unfinished and lacks insulation so our laundry room water lines routed through this area froze in cold weather. Also there was a lot of trash left in this room as well which I requested prior to closing. 9) The 3rd stall garage we added is not long enough to fit a full size truck as promised since the water heater platform was relocated from spot in main garage there without our approval. We had requested builder furnish a tank-less unit or moved to spot in laundry room but were assured there would still have adequate space. 10) Requested a wider backyard gate (8 foot) but actually got a useable 7.5 foot opening so thanks for not following through on that before closing. The last item item I’d like to mention were the numerous construction delays as we watched the spec homes get priority over contracted homes. We heard the same comments from several neighbors since we moved in December. A spec home like our floor plan still sits empty but has been move-in ready two months before our closing date. Sales Manager Jeff at Bloomfield Homes Aubrey, TX was great at walking us through the whole process and updated us on each stage. Decided to get a private inspector in Phase 2 and well, let me just say I’m glad I did. If you are building I’d recommend to often visit home and take pictures (keep them for records). Inspection before closing Phase 3 was great and they had to fix all listed on the list. Now, the workmanship was average for the value of the home. I dislike how they do cocking, very tacky. Also, I moved in before they finished doing everything, I wish I didn’t close unless all was complete. Once you move in, it’s a whole new chapter to get some things fixed even with your One Year Warranty. Overall, I think for the value of the home, they could do a better job and not rush to get things done. With these unprecedented times I’m see more quantity than quality. Buyer pay close attention. When they tell you to point out any issues, DO IT. The builder is not checking any quality. They just let to contractors do as they please. I was surprised at what we had to point out to be fixed. I thought obvious issues would be dealt with but no. They use the cheapest constructed cabinets I’ve ever seen. Zero quality. Zero pride in workmanship. Instead of making cabinet seems fit they just stick trim over the seam. Cabinet guides were bent and not parallel. Obvious from the beginning. I kept being told everything would be taken care of. Now 1 month into occupancy and I have brand new cabinet drawer that bind up and jump the tracks. I expected better for a $500k plus home but was told by the supervisor these are production homes. That’s what you get. Overall a nice home but do not give a non refundable deposit. I like the layouts but some of the craftsmanship is not what I expected

This was a challenging year to build a house due to supply chain issues that created shortages in material but Bloomfield stuck to their price. Potential delays were communicated in advance and the sales rep did a solid job of maneuvering around the land mines. There are still a few cosmetic things that need to be worked on but I'm confident Bloomfield will take care of them. Overall, we're satisfied with the product and the process.

Make sure to ask that all weeds are cleared before they lay your sod. If not you will have crab grass and weeds coming through the sod. Other than that Michael and the builder Jason were a pleasure to work with.

Our overall experience was pretty good. Cindy and Kelsey were amazing. They welcomed us with a smile even when we were a little frustrated with the process. So far we really love our new home.

This was an experience to never be forgotten really. very nerve racking and they tried to keep us up to date as possible but yea, very very stressful. but that the nature of new construct after the pandemic.

Overall it was a good experience, we love the home and the neighborhood. So far we haven't had quality issues, our only criticism would be that at the move in pieces of garbage were left in the back yard, bottles, old banana peels, there were cans of beer left in the dishwasher and upstairs bathroom. And the lawn grass was getting a bit high.

The buying process was almost flawless. Unfortunately, two of the tubs placed in my home has stains in them as well as there are some areas that looks to be rushed jobs. There was something wasted on my carpet and a couple of panels/baseboards broken and installed.

Very good design and location.

My wife and I looked at homes from several builders and Bloomfield appeared to be in the top 2 builders for quality from what we could see. It’s hard to judge because when we bought our house, the marker was bad….supplies were low and costs were continuing to go up. However, regardless of costs/market, there’s still some things on our new house that make you go “hmm….is this just cheap or did someone make a mistake?” Overall we are pleased. We like that Bloomfield put a drip system around the foundation as part of their new home packages, which will keep the foundation rock solid for years. That’s a big peace of mind. ... More

We purchased our Bloomfield home at a time when prices were rising and the builder did not provide any incentives. However they used quality building materials and we were always in contact with our sales agent Dona and builder Eric. They always responded to any inquiries we had and our home came up great. We had most of the things we wanted but passed on some upgrades which we were able to do later. The experience was great but the bathrooms were not painted with semi gloss paint which we ended up doing ourselves. That needs standard on all their homes.

It is a very tough buyers market. Finding a home was very difficult. Leslie and her team were able to make buying a home a reality. Thanks.

These homes are quality

Overall the building processed lacked communication. Very slow to respond to serious questions. However, home did come out very nice. Now that we have a few warranty issues the lack of communication and follow up seems disorganized and or non-existent.

There are things I didn’t notice on walk thru I do now but warranty covers should be fine .

The workman ship of the house was not great and it has not been great trying to get them to come fix it.

Despite purchasing / building our home during the COVID-19 pandemic, the process was smooth. Sam, the project manager was very courteous as well. The only drawback to the entire process, was the attention to detail in the finishing process. I felt that was lacking in more ways than one.

You should Get better contractors.I feel the painters and flooring contractors were losey could have done a better job, , also issues with plumbing, had issues with cabinets uneven. The inspector should have picked up on alot of issues of peoples homes. Your style of homes are too nice not to be done properly.
