The process started off great!... everything went smoothly from contracts, picking out colors, brick, etc. but after the house was being built there was issues that we noticed that windows at front wasn’t centered and the column at back porch half of the wood was hanging over the concrete pad. We addressed it with our sales person and he got real upset telling us this is why he doesn’t like buyers to see the house until it finished. Finally got the project manager phone number to address the work with him. He said will look into it and fixed the issues. 2 days before closing for our final walk through a lot of work was still needed to be done, landscape wasn’t done, but weather didn’t help, the interior of house, floors weren’t completed, incomplete paint, etc. no big deal! Finally closed on house project manager none existent does not return calls and you have issue at that point you have to go through warranty, getting people back after is hard, you send in work orders half get completed other don’t call. Great home, just issues found prior to closing still not being addressed.

In-spite of the waiting time it was worth the wait. The house was an adjustment as it is much more open spaced and less in the way of walls which made placing furnishings somewhat difficult as how we arranged the house. We adjusted. Overall it was a great option for us. And btw we are glad to be a part of the Texas tradition.

Patricia is the best ..... Bloomfield takes it all. I ll definitely come back for our next home...somewhere down the line.

If you are have a home built from the ground up, check as often as possible to ensure things are done correctly. If you are not sure what right, have someone who know to help out. Even with COVID-19 some things could have been handled better. Overall the home is beautiful,

We signed purchase agreement early March 2020 with a December close. COVID-19 brought things to a stand still but despite material delays we were only pushed out 30 days. We are very happy with the final result. The material/design and the quality installation by each trade shows within the end result.

Poor Design center. Too small and cluttered. Design center in Frisco was in upstairs room. Difficult/impossible for Handicap clients to access.

We said no to a neighborhood solely because we did not like the welcome we received at another Bloomfield property. Until we met Patrice, we didn’t even notice how unenthusiastic the other person was. Patrice literally pulled us in like we were family and made us feel welcomed from the start. Chuck kept us informed and made sure our concerns and questions were answered. Union Park is a lovely neighborhood, but the people in the office and at the home site made the difference.

The overall buying experience was great. Sara at the model home is wonderful to work with and very good at what she does. We bought in 2020 which came with a year-long crisis no one expected. It was a frustrating process - delay after delay. It took a year for our home to reach completion. During the process, Bloomfield Homes excelled in keeping an open line of communication. They worked hard to get us through every issue that presented itself. Once we moved into our home it met all of our expectations. It was well worth the wait. The level of care that Bloomfield places in craftsmanship and quality is what stood out the most. Beautiful designs.....I just wish the house was more ready before they schedule closing cost. There are two many to call them back for repair, retouch, fix - have to schedule days off or time off to get them done.

I would definitely recommend Bloomfield Homes to anyone. Their professionalism and availability to help at anytime is second to none.

Robin was great, she responded to issues fairly quick. Only issue we really have is with the craftsmanship of somethings.

Have to stay on top of things, caught a few errors

I was happy with my experience until 3/4 the way thru the building process. They made a few mistakes that delayed our move in date by a couple of months. The finish work was/ is very sloppy. I’m still cleaning paint, stain, pencil marks off floors, walls etc. Had to get house inspected 2 times because builder did not fix all the mistakes and damage the first time. They installed broken windows, trim , and several of the walls had holes because no door stops. The overall design of the house is great. The finish work is subpar to put it nicely.

We had a great experience buying the first house we've ever built from the ground up. We did not expect to be able to customize so much of the house but we did! More than just carpet and tile color. But we were able to move some bedroom door locations and pick out even the smallest details like grout color for the back splash. The team at Bloomfield stayed in contact with us every step of the way which was very important since we're building in the middle of the pandemic. They also allowed us to come by the site anytime throughout the building process. Whenever we had any questions or concerns, we they always addressed very expediently and they made sure we were satisfied. The one and only issue we had was the quality of the workmanship of the subcontractors that did the master bathroom tile. But since we're allowed to keep a as close an eye on it as we wanted, we were able to get it to a satisfactory level. I just would have liked for it to be great from the start. ... More

Communication could be a little tighter, but overall a great experience.

Better than standard homes builders.

The design of the homes are amazing. You get a big bang for you buck.

They have fixed everything we have asked them to.

Love the layout of the house. as I am the lady of the house. I wish guest beth room cabinet should have least some drawers and Shelves. little thinks to make more useful for dally leaving easier. even it cost more people will love .and pay.

The home buying experience was fast and easy

Great process. Easy from start to finish. Patrice Hopkins is amazing with updates and helping pick out designs and colors for the interior. Chuck Mathes made sure everything was up to standards and fixed everything right away. Couldn’t have asked for a better team to help me build our house.

Overall good experience buying home in Texas, Project manager was very good explaining and response.

Jeff Smith, Jeff Jinkins and Kimberly Jankowski were all such a pleasure to work with on our first time home buying experience. All 3 were attentive and in tune to making things go as smoothly as possible.
