We’ve had an ongoing roof leak since we moved in that doesn’t seem will ever get resolved. We have issues with the sod and grade of the backyard that also doesn’t seem likely to be resolved anytime soon. The Warrenty person doesn’t return calls , now that they have our money we’re not a priority anymore, on to the next new buyer. After closing new buyers are not priority. That’s been my experience

easy to work with, updates are great, its a new build so of course there will be little things to address but very little and thats what the warranty is for

Even though my process was longer than usual. However, Jeff (manager) and builder (Matt) were extremely helpful , professional taking action promptly . This is my first home, and Im totally happy with Bloomfield Home

Well to start all the houses are SO beautiful & the price you get for them is just really unheard of. I truly LOVE our house it’s a joy to finally be in our forever home!

From the begining with Jeff Seaton in the Sales Office to Matt Jennings as the Project Manager of our beautiful home thru completion the whole BLOOMFIELD HOMES experience was AWSOME !! My SON also owns a beauitful BLOOMFIELD HOME in ARROWBROOKE !!

The value of the home is amazing. Great choices and many standard options are considered upgrades with other builders. The process had its ups and downs. There were many moments where communication lacked as to delays during the build and what was to be expected. The workmanship disappoints a bit as it seems they rely to much on the warranty. A lot of small issues that add up that should have been caught before closing if they just slowed down and checked the work thoroughly. Even after the pre closing walk through where we pointed out issues, many of them were not corrected. Overall, happy with the home and the quality. Just slightly disappointed in how little pride seemed to be taken with the workmanship of the job. But would definitely recommend, due to value and how beautiful the homes are. ... More

Sales and construction staff take time to walk through every detail and rapidly responds to buyer's questions or concerns

When I saw the model of this home I loved it! But when I asked the salesman about the process and what I needed to do, he sarcastically said "qualify for the loan" and he went back to what he was doing, That should have been my first clue to leave and not return. But I started the process. I went back to the sales office and was received in the same sarcastic manner until I pointed out to him that I qualified for the loan. Then his attitude changed considerably. He then became the perfect salesman... for a while anyway. He walked me through the model and I shared with him the components I wanted in the home. This all started right at the beginning of the pandemic. Once the framing was up I realized the double oven was left off. When I brought it to his attention, I was told it was too late. That was interesting to me in that I told him originally I wanted one, and I missed checking for it on the paperwork. He also had previously given me examples of how people would add to or change orders and they would be charged a portion up front but that it could be done. Already stressed and a bit overwhelmed, I just let it slide. I asked about a front door I saw on a house in the same neighborhood that I liked and was told it was like a "test" (this may not be the right term) home and that the door could not be used on my home. Fast forward, the door is on two other homes on my street...one is a Primrose just like mine. So was it a test or did they just want to tell me no? The lot I wanted originally was in a different block. I was told that a Primrose can only be built every 3 houses so I couldn't have that lot. There is a Primrose next door to me and one behind me and my neighbor. There are also 2 next door to each other further down the street. It was getting close to closing and I began getting emails from the closing agent to get documents updated and they provided a closing date as well. I was concerned since I had not done a walk-through on the home. I sent an email and the builder and salesperson called me back. They both spoke to me as if I had don't something wrong or was crazy and basically stated that they had not authorized anyone to call me and all that information comes from them. I forwarded the text messages and emails and called the mortgage company and explained to them the issue and they took me off the schedule for the closing. I didn't hear back from the builder or the sales office. I finally closed on the house but it wasn't a magical moment as I had expected. While I really like the design of this home, the quality of the workmanship is not what one would expect in a home in this price range. Within the first week of my move-in I had 2 gas leaks (and I still smell gas), repairs to electrical switches, hot and cold plumbing pipes reversed and installed in the wall incorrectly, some sort of mixing valve had to be replaced that was not working in the master bathroom, landscapers had to come out and redo their work, outdoor lights malfunctioning, gaps and damage to the flooring, damage to wood trim, over cut drywall, sloppy installation of tile work, damaged screen from a break-in prior to closing found in the back yard, sloppy caulking and paint job throughout the house. Then of course I had to take off work or have someone at the house for repairs to be done. Extremely frustrating! I have reported all these concerns to Bloomfield Homes. However, I had to contact the corporate offices due to the builder yelling at me when I was asking questions about the problems I found in my home. He acted as if he was doing me a favor by even building the house. Some of the work has been done and some is scheduled to be done in a few weeks. Throughout this home building and buying process I was treated like a low-class citizen by the representatives of Bloomfield Homes. I was yelled at, talked down to, and demeaned. I had to eventually remind the builder that he wasn't giving me this home ... I was paying for the home! When I look back on the whole ordeal it really bothers me and I am constantly trying to answer the question, why was I treated this way? Is it because I am a single, African American female or maybe this is how they treat single women period. I wish I had paid attention to the red flags, and found another house with a different builder. ... More

Great overall experience with my new home.

Don't settle for entry level selections. UPGRADE! UPGRADE! UPGRADE! ask as many questions as possible. If you don't ask for it, they will not offer it.

Matt and Sam were great. Our one issue was a couple promises were either missed or miscommunicated. We were told we could get the cabinet handles (in their sample showroom) but when we closed on the house the cabinets had no handles. We were then told they don’t normally add handles. We were not told that initially and it added to the feeling that we were told things at the beginning in order to get the sale. We were also promised a half glass back door that never happened. Post close, we’ve seen multiple social media posts from our neighbors that they’ve had similar experiences.

Framing material was just fair. Many pieces were not in the best of shape yet workers still used them even after we brought it to their attention. Concrete laid was very wavy, holes in various spots, one corner completely fell apart. Brought it to their attention as we didn't want to have this be an issue when the flooring got laid and apparently they didn't fix it because we had to have 2 section of flooring relayed and some of our furniture still does not lay flat to the floor. Painting, texture fair. Paint is a very poor grade of paint and for the price paid for this home, should have better quality and workmanship. On the plus side design of the home is outstanding which is why we decided to continue with the purchase and rework things after the warranty period of the 1st year is over. We will not be recommending Bloomfield which is a shame because your designs and the community we are in is great. You need to hire better construction personnel who take pride in the work they do as if the home was theirs. ... More

I had a great salesman but the builder is horrible. I have been in my home for 3 months and I’m still waiting for issues that were pointed out prior to closing to be corrected. Bloomfield homes are amazing but the people I’ve worked with give them a bad name.

Our house was built in a timely fashion, we were kept in the loop by our Engineer Jordan who definitely addressed and was able to fix many issues that we had found. As we have been in the home, we have found small issues, such as only one screw in a door handle instead of 2, 2 screws in a door hinge instead of 3, things like this. Nothing major. If I had to offer one piece of advice it would be to make sure clients are offered all of the upgrades available to them in a particular model and then let them turn them down, as there were other options we were not aware of that we probably would have opted for. I encountered Afew issues along the building process but Renee out my mind at ease by being very responsive,attentive and helping me out with last minute addition to home that was necessary I order for me to close on home . I’m so greatful for her! I still have several things that continue to come up with the home requiring repairs but so far repairs have been met.

Our experience with Bloomfield has been great all the people I have had encounters with have been very polite professional and helpful.

Our builder Chris is the only bright spot for me. He is responsive and does what he can when there are issues. The dishwasher has not worked for close to a month now. The garage door broke and the company “TBS garage” is a farce. Initially left a message on their 24 hr emergency line and never got a response. I called again after the whole power outtage/water ordeal and person said that their system is down so they can’t schedule me for service and that they will call me back. Needless to say they never did call back. Feels like the product looks great on surface but filled with crap underneath. So based on experience and the service of the contractees and can safely say that the only one not cutting corner is the builder and everyone else contracted is only there because they are the cheapest. The overall experience was great. Follow up on issues found after the walkthrough and inspection was not the best. Compared to the other builders in the area, this would be my first choice.

Bob & his team did a great job and always communicated with us during process. We will use Bloomfield again on our next house

Great experience over all. Got done and if I needed help with something it was in a timely manner. No complaints here. Very satisfied

When shown the completed hone, things did not work correctly such as the garbage disposal and the internet connection. There was actually a short in the internet connection that has to be fixed. In addition, there was supposed to be internet connections placed in certain rooms and was not. The hallway light fixture was missing. Also, the light fixture in the food pantry fell off. The upstairs bedroom is cold as ice no matter the temperature on the thermostat. Base paint was missing in some areas as well. Many things are wrong and definitely affected our trust to build with this company again.

After moving in they said to give them a call if something we see is wrong with home. He would have it fixed no problem.When my wife did call they told us just to put it on the list at the end of a year they will fix the issues under warranty. So I guess we cant have front window fixed or oven shield fixed front door hole fixed etc.

Totally professional.... very caring and understanding....very prompt to respond to any question or concern!!! 100% THE BEST!!!
