The sales consultant, Mike, and builder, Mitchell, were very responsive, patient and understanding with any questions/concerns I had during the building process. The sales assistants, Roz and Stephanie, were also outstanding, They always had a positive and cheerful attitude. I had visited numerous communities and all the Bloomfield representatives treated me warmly and welcomed me even though they knew I was purchasing in another neighborhood. I feel Bloomfield employees work together as a team as I always felt comfortable wherever I visited.

Do not trust ANYTHING that the community manager at Star Ranch tells you. Get EVERYTHING in writing -- and I mean EVERYTHING, down to the very last, most minute detail. If not, you will be very upset when things don't go how you were told they would, and the community manager denies saying any of it. The homes are beautiful, when finished, but the mess that is made during construction is absurd. I can't even begin to tell you how much garbage, half-eaten food, beer cans and bottles, and whatnot we found throughout our house during the build process. When confronted about it, the community manager acts incredibly surprised, like this has never happened before (even though EVERY SINGLE PERSON IN THE NEIGHBORHOOD SAYS IT HAPPENED TO THEM TOO!!!), and denies that it could in any way, shape, or form have been caused by Bloomfield employees or contractors working on behalf of Bloomfield. I am also fairly certain that the majority of that garbage is now laying directly under my sod, instead of being removed from the property. I have been picking up trash and rocks since we moved in, and there appears to be no end in sight. We were told there would be a gas water heater -- what was installed was an electric water heater. We were told afterward that this was because of venting issues (nowhere to vent it in this floor plan). Which is an outright lie, as the water heater is adjacent to an exterior wall. Additionally, the price of my home included the cost to run the gas line that was installed. If this floor plan required an electric water heater, Bloomfield would have known not to install a gas line specifically for the water heater. We were also told that the railing on our stairs was going to be an open wrought iron banister. We arrived to find a flat sheet of drywall (super decorative, I know). When we asked about it, we were told that that was a premium upgrade, and we could pay extra for it, and it would delay closing by a couple of weeks. All of this after specifically asking if that was going to be a standard part of this home (multiple times) and being re-assured that it was (multiple times). Then we had some flooring that was supposed to be re-configured before closing. Came in the day before closing, and the flooring had not been changed. Home inspector found some shotty roofing work, with improperly sealed roof penetrations and damaged shingles -- great quality work from their roofing contractor. I also had to spend some time adjusting all of the cabinet doors and hardware through the whole house once we got in, because EVERYTHING was crooked. My yard is not smooth or even, probably because of all of the rocks and trash under the sod. When I called Bloomfield corporate to address these issues as they were occurring, I was basically told I could take my earnest money and walk away from the purchase. They had no desire to work with me to resolve any of these issues. They know that in this market, if you walk away, someone else is just going to buy it anyway. Bloomfield does not care about you. On a sunny Saturday morning, my wife and I were looking at new build subdivisions in Northern Dallas. We had done some preliminary research and decided to give 380 a look. We made appointments with a few builders in a few different subdivisions. The difference maker was Patrice. She made us feel welcome and was super transparent about everything. Patrice is so knowledgeable, organized, efficient, kind and most of all about business. She was patient with us and guided us through the process of building our home. As a result of her help, we found the right house at the right price for us. Bill, our project manager, took a personal interest in the success of our project and made us feel like extended family. Today, we have a great home with a great school for our daughter. The lot we selected is right across from a park! We couldn’t be more grateful and happy for such a pleasant experience. I would love to have all of my new home buyer issues addressed before my one year timeframe lapses. I love my home but when lights don’t work, doors won’t stay closed and alarm system malfunctions with poor customer service response I cannot leave a positive response. Would like for this not to be my case. Please help!!

We moved into our new Bloomfield home on October 16, 2020. Every aspect from start to finish was outstanding. Our sales person, Sara Braden, was knowledgeable, informative, and not at all pushy. Our house is absolutely perfect, and the few warranty issues we have had have been handled quickly and efficiently. We would highly recommend this builder.

We had a poor experience with this builder. We had many concerns with the way the work crews were treating our property including drinking alcohol on the work premise. Our concerns were never truly addressed and we were given answers stating that our GC barely had enough time to view our house 1 time a week if that due to the number of houses he had to oversee. We were also told that our site was not as bad as the other houses down the road. I feel like Bloomfield didn't properly oversee the construction of our home and with that we still have issues that we are trying to have resolved after moving in 4 months ago. ... More

Going into it, we didn’t know what to expect but Jeff and Matt really eased ALL of our concerns and worries throughout the 8 month building process. Anything that I had a question about or wanted to change during the build, they were a phone call or text message away. The builder and the Sales Manager , Doug V in Heartland made my experience excellent. With the quality of the builder, and superior service was unmatched.

I have been very pleased with the entire effort of having Bloomfield build our home. From the selection process, to the building and mortgage processes, everything went smoothly, and the people I worked with were professional, helpful, and available. I love the finished product of my home!

Process was easy, disliked having to go to Southlake to close which was one hour away.

Chris was our sales contact and he was ALWAYS so patient with all our questions....and we had many!! Brandon was also very helpful!! I am a little disappointed with the landscaping. Seems some neighbors are somewhat better than mine. But overall a very good experience and when I can I will recommend Bloomfield!!

All in all, I feel like the home is a well-built home. However, the attention to the detail work is lacking - trim work, paint, caulking, granite cuts & fireplace stone.

We thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with the builder, Brad B. He was very helpful and always made sure we got what we wanted out of the house, making sure things were up to par. Our experience would not have been the same without him being so good. He needs a raise! As far as the rest of our experience, it was decent. Our experience at the time of home building seemed great, that we were getting all that we wanted and weren't being gipped on anything. After closing and being in the home for a while and talking to neighbors / just being in the home and understanding more of the process of building a home from scratch, we found that we could have done things differently and asked more questions. Wish we had asked for a FULL list of possible upgrades. As well as ask if the salesperson did any extra deals (after finding out that one neighbor got a typical deal from them, but us and others did not). So it was frustrating after realizing our house could have been a little better / cheaper after the fact, but nothing to make us want to sell the place. Just wish we were more aware of our homes possibilities. When building a new home --- ASK QUESTIONS. Google what you should ask and make sure to get all the perks you can. See what the salesperson can offer you as their own personal offer. And know what ALL of the upgrades are you can add in the home. Don't just let the salesperson tell you what the main ones are. We found so many things we wished we would have added, but since we didn't know they were options, we never asked for them. AND. When doing walk throughs at the end, get on your hands and knee! Check every corner. We have found so many places that weren't painted, were knicked, or just weren't finished just right. So be sure to take time and check it all out. Renee was amazing and great to work with. House was rushed to finish at the end and therefore a lot of things were missed and quality was nowhere to be found. Still having several minor issues which are creating bigger issues like windows leaking and causing damage to wood.

Awesome, easy , fun , exciting

Leeroy is a salesman true salesman - reels you in for the sale and then doesn’t want to deal with you once it’s final. Trent, our builder, is a really nice guy, but just doesn’t have the time or the drive to keep on top of things. We had some custom additions to our build, and I believe they would not have turned out the way we wanted had I not stayed on top of it. We moved in on 9/28, and still have issues we’re waiting to be fixed almost 2 months later. Finally, the workmanship I believe is low quality. Mainly in the final touch up details. Really bad.

Due to our past experience with the Sales Manager I would NOT recommend anyone to Bloomfield Homes.
