Nightmare at Daniel Farms!

When I saw the model of this home I loved it! But when I asked the salesman about the process and what I needed to do, he sarcastically said "qualify for the loan" and he went back to what he was doing, That should have been my first clue to leave and not return. But I started the process. I went back to the sales office and was received in the same sarcastic manner until I pointed out to him that I qualified for the loan. Then his attitude changed considerably. He then became the perfect salesman... for a while anyway. He walked me through the model and I shared with him the ...

Bloomfield Homes - We had a poor experience with this builder.

We had a poor experience with this builder. We had many concerns with the way the work crews were treating our property including drinking alcohol on the work premise. Our concerns were never truly addressed and we were given answers stating that our GC barely had enough time to view our house 1 time a week if that due to the number of houses he had to oversee. We were also told that our site was not as bad as the other houses down the road. I feel like Bloomfield didn't properly oversee the construction of our home and with that we still have issues that we are trying to have resolved ...

Inconsistent texture on the walls. Faucet leaked. Cabinet cracks. Gaps around outlets. Light fixture not connected to a switch. Attic door misaligned. Lots of area over sprayed. Very unfortunate with current COVID situation, otherwise we would be requesting warranty work to be done immediately.

I hope that you have had an opportunity to contact our Warranty department to get your concerns addressed. It's a beautiful home and arquitecture and the customer service is great in the first part of the process all the way untill you sign and move in but in my case . Very disappointed because of damages not taken care of correctly and made worse by the companies that were sent and at the end I was told that they will not fix the problem flat out.

Jaime, we always aim to deliver a great experience and we apologize that our service did not satisfy your expectations. Will you please reach out to our VP of Sales and Marketing, Mike McCord 972-877-1508, so that we can make it right? bloomfieldhomes

House over all is good. But when it comes down to the details, it lacks. Lots of cosmetic issues with the interior paint, landscaping, caulking, etc. Getting Bloomfield to come out and attend to issues is slow at best. Most of the issues I’m fixing myself in fear Bloomfield will eventually send someone out who won’t fix it or make it worse. Overall, not impressed and kinda disappointed as Bloomfield should theoretically be a better builder than say a KB.

This is my second Bloomfield home, 4th build experience, I have also helped sell several Bloomfield homes, and this was the WORST sales experience. From the get go, Andy was slow to respond and almost cost us several thousand dollars due to a delay in signing of the contract AFTER we paid our honest money… after back and fourth he relented and gave us a discount. I was so excited to get my Bloomfield home. This was my first home and the home was so beautiful. I heard so many things about Bloomfield and how they’re such quality builders. However, I would expect the quality of their employees to match the quality of their homes, but that was not the case. The home buying process was very smooth until after closing when the keys to my house did not work for the front door, and the sellers agent Ty had no sense of urgency to correct the matter, nor did he seem to care. From the beginning, we were lied to. The interest rate for preferred homes and inventory was 4.99% with the preferred lender… we bought a home from the inventory and were not offered that. Communication was terrible, after the payment we didn't hear anything from the seller and were sent to do negotiations with the lender. The whole process was stressful.

In light of the ongoing pandemic, understandably there were some shortages. But 15 months we waited patiently for our home to be complete. There were months when it was dormant with no activity, no communication. At 12 months we began reaching out to the builder and no response by phone, email or text; When we finally arrived unexpectedly at the show house, we were told IT's Bloomfield policy to not communicate with pending owners, that's the job of the site manager. Wish I could write a great review but unfortunately the process was the worst I have had when buying a new home. Already having issues with pipes leaking delays from having simple tasks done. One would assume that when you purchase a new home you have no concerns when it comes to things breaking. wish this was the case. Hunters Ridge community has a serious field mice infestation that needs to be addressed by Bloomfield. They seem to think providing a few rat traps is the answer. I purchased a Bloomfield home in the Arrow Brooke community in Aubrey/Little Elm, based on the online pictures and the schools mentioned by the project office. However, the home is quite different from what was shown in the pictures—for instance, there is no fireplace—and the school districts are different from what was advertised, which feels misleading. I'm now struggling with the inconvenience of commuting 5 miles to send my kids to school.

We are first time home buyers, overall experience was very difficult and frustrating with Bloomfield sales person and the builder I worked with. My house elevation was not accurately done as promised(as per blue print), about elevation we discussed during our builder’s meet, they clearly agreed the house will be as per blue print and I paid premium/additional upgrade money just for elevation. In addition of a very careless handling from management of the warranty process from Bloomfield side and poor customer service.
