Extremely poor workmanship as our home flooded and several parts of the home begin to breakdown in 48hrs after closing. Pathetic, inept building engineer, issues that have continued to THIS DAY. Needless to say, I continue to advise everyone I’ve come across to stay away from BH.

I am having a hard time in seeing the quality of Bloomfield homes. While installing landscape lighting in the flower bed, I found trash below the mulch. It was full of brick and stone debris from the construction of the house, as well as water bottles and food wrappers. Whatever dirt was on the trim on the inside and outside of the house was never cleaned, it was just painted over. The trim around the front door was also gouged from where they brought things into the house and was just painted over. The caulking on the patio looks like a child did it, there is more caulk on both ...

This was a truly awful home buying experience. Months and months of delays, closing date pushed back multiple times at the last minute, tons of issues still remain long even after move in. Bill was great during the process and much was out of his control, but the communication and follow up with the builder lead was and still remains very bad. He answers and communicates when convenient for him. This was a truly terrible building experience I’m just glad we’re finally in. Still waiting on things to be done. BUYER BE AWARE!!!
Bloomfield Homes responded:

We strive to provide great and quality service for all homebuyers so we appreciate your feedback. Seems bloomfield is more concerned with performing the bare minimum to sell than turning a quality product. Approximately 2 months in and already submitting a second list of warranty items. This one to include excessive floor noise from the second level while several issues have still not been addressed from the first warranty submitted. At no point during the process did we feel our construction manager was committed to quality and it's coming to show now that we are living in the home. I'm very concerned the upstairs floor issues will not be addressed or take an extremely long time to ...
Bloomfield Homes responded:
Hi, Jeremy - Thank you so much for your feedback. I have shared your concerns with the Construction Team. I have also reached out to our Warranty Department. Your remaining two warranty items are scheduled for repair today. As far as the squeaky floor issue, we do not show a Warranty Services Request or Work Order for this item. Please submit a warranty request and our service manager for that area will be happy to contact you. Here is the link to submit your request. https://www.bloomfieldhomes.com/warranty ...

The builder's workers provided sub-par and damaged material, examples are the soaking tub has repaired holes in the side of the tub, the countertops are scratched and patched in multiple places, a leak in a vent was pointed out multiple times and not fixed. The toilet seats were damaged by the workers' use. Zero storage in the entire house, even the small attic space was consumed by the air conditioners being placed in an L shape around the ladder to the attic preventing access to any portion of the attic. Gaps under and around all external doors, back door was damaged to make it fit. ...

I have unfortunately learned a hard lesson having a home built by Bloomfield. There has been many mistakes made resulting in a poor quality home. From drywall coming down in garage from a roof leak, to upgrades that were mismanaged & completed wrong. This build should be used by Bloomfield management as a case study to better understand the state of the company. I challenge Bloomfield to convince me to do business with them again. The Warranty department has reached out & started the process of fixing the quality issues. If warranty can pull this off, I will be sending out emails to upper ...

We neither had a pre-construction meeting nor new home orientation. Quality is poor. AC didn't work for some time. Some items missing and damaged door left inside home. No response to emails when asked to remove it. We had to carry it outside and leave it at construction site. I wish I didn't move from my previous home.

1) Bloomfield messed up on the brick for our front patio and columns. The columns were crooked and brick was cracking and falling off. The slope of brick which is supposed to clear the window of our office in the front was blocking the window. I had to get into an argument with them so they would fix it because they weren't going to. They tried to say it was right then I submitted them pictures of the same house they built from different streets and then they had no choice but to fix. 2) During the final walk through we had to place hundreds of tape markers on the walls, doors and ...

This was by far the worst build in my home buying experience…. This is number 3… Indy was the worst person to communicate with and pushed everything off on her assistants. Anthony the project manager was horrible as well, he made this build feel like we were getting the worst quality and craftsmanship available, always saying he can’t find contractors to finish jobs.. I’m fixing a lot of theses issues myself.

The builder, Mike, we dealt with was by far the most horrible human being. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. He never wanted to answer our questions/concerns. Sometimes he wouldn't respond at all. We called corporate to no avail. These people act as if they are not in business. During the building process there were an abundance of quality issues, lying, and wrong things being done, things left out of building plan that HAD to be addressed and the experience of dealing with the builder was gruesome! We’ve had an ongoing roof leak since we moved in that doesn’t seem will ever get resolved. We have issues with the sod and grade of the backyard that also doesn’t seem likely to be resolved anytime soon. The Warrenty person doesn’t return calls , now that they have our money we’re not a priority anymore, on to the next new buyer. After closing new buyers are not priority. That’s been my experience
