My wife and I have had built many custom homes in the past years and have always had issues with the builder in some form or fashion. I can honestly say our home built by BLOOMFIELD has been a true pleasure. After we moved in the little things that require attention are taken care of in a professional and expeditious manner. I highly recommend this company should you want a home built.

Our experience was fantastic from the property manager, the project manager and the warranty team. The build and quality are excellent they thought of everything. Simply put we love our new home. We still pinch ourselves and cannot believe we have such a beautiful home. We have always owned pre-owned homes and all the things we would have changed or thought of latter was already in this home and more. We looked at other builders and they could not match the quality we have in this home. You wont regret it!

I had a awesome experience with my sales person and he was very knowledgeable, whenever I had any questions are concerns he didn’t hesitate to answer any questions are concerned , very reliable, which made my buying experience awesome if I had to rate him from one to 10, definitely a 10 I love my home don’t have to do any upgrades thank you, Bloomfield

Tommy was my sales rep in the Treesfarm phase (Desoto TX) and he was horrible. He was rarely available, made a critical mistake with my paper work, and a flat out liar. He constantly boasted about how my home was his 7th sale that week. He was fortunate because this subdivision just happens to be about 50k to 70k cheaper with double the land than any of the other phases in the vicinity. Therefore he felt like he didn't have to do any real work. I'm a home inspector and I have inspected at least 300 plus Bloomfield Homes in my career. This is the reason I purchased. I love what I've seen and other phases. But Tommy is the worst. He needs to be held accountable. And I will definitely be making a call to the corporate office. ... More

What was advertised as move in ready has been anything but! There were damages throughout the home we found on move in day and it has taken numerous attempts to make things right. Our customer service rep has been great but the quality of work is lacking and created unnecessary stress and inconveniences.

We are first time home buyers, overall experience was very difficult and frustrating with Bloomfield sales person and the builder I worked with. My house elevation was not accurately done as promised(as per blue print), about elevation we discussed during our builder’s meet, they clearly agreed the house will be as per blue print and I paid premium/additional upgrade money just for elevation. It was promised by Sales person that money will be credited for not having elevation as per the plan but at end no credit was given to me. One month before closing, Bloomfield(Sales person and builder) threatened me to cancel my contract because of their mistake, and they threatened me to cancel the contract as they knew my importance of having house. Very frustrating, I had so many sleepless nights and due to which my health got impacted. Bloomfield Sales person said that house blue print can be changed without prior notice. Very disappointing. Bloomfield increased my house price over night, even after taking Earnest deposit money from me. Never expected someone will change the price after taking deposit and blocking the home, which is very unprofessional and not expected like this from Bloomfield. Contract preparation was delayed by sales person, and I had to pay the additional price. Before closing, the sales person confirmed that all issues identified by then will be fixed within three days after closing the house, because of which we went ahead with house closing. Issues which were identified before closing the house are still not yet fixed. All issues are still open, even after 2 months of closing. List goes on… ... More

Well, we have purchased a number of homes over the 64 years we have been married. We are very happy with our experience here at Bloomfield. The house was s spec home. It was what we were looking for - smaller, but well built, attractive, and with a great front porch. Ther was just one issue, we wanted taller toilets, but the builder does not normally do that. We were able to work out a solution between the builder and our real estate agent and got what we needed.

Excellent quality home, though market is generally 10% overpriced.

From the beginning, we were lied to. The interest rate for preferred homes and inventory was 4.99% with the preferred lender… we bought a home from the inventory and were not offered that. Communication was terrible, after the payment we didn't hear anything from the seller and were sent to do negotiations with the lender. The whole process was stressful.

It was a great a easy process and the staff was very nice and helpful and Mexand my family got a beautiful elegant and modern home for an affordable price

From beginning to end, my experience with Bloomfield Homes has been great. We have been in our house about six weeks now and have not found any real problems and any little problems we have found. They have been very responsive to.

Dealing with Michael (salesman) and Jeremy (construction supervisor) has been great. Anytime I have an issue (after home closing) I call Jeremy and he advises what needs to be done in order to resolve the issue. Very happy with Bloomfield Homes.

When they ask you for your paper work make sure you turn the papers in right away don't waste no time faster they tell you what you need work along right with this company they do this while you can get a beautiful home turn in what they tell you to get in thank you all again.

Paul, Sandy, Ty and Jason were very responsive. During most of the construction I visited every day and was very impressed with the build. If I noticed anything unusual I would bring it to their attention and it was addressed- thanks. My only disappointment came with how the workers would toss their trash and construction debris into the front yard and then mash into the ground with the bulldozer, and it becomes a landfill. It doesn’t allow for the soaker hoses to absorb the water and when planting new shrubs, trees or anything often there will be debris in the ground. My suggestion would be invest in trash cans for the workers and trash containers to toss the debris in to avoid creating landfills, especially in the front yard. ... More

The sales people were great and I worked hard to get into this house. I paid the extra $500 to have an inspection done on the house and sent a report. I was affirmed that everything on the report was complete. Then I moved in after closing and saw almost nothing on the list was touched. Even parts of the house weren’t painted. It has been almost two months later and I still haven’t had any of these things taken care of. The approach the builder took was to just let them know what they didn’t do instead of them doing another walk around and getting it fixed. I work and travel way too much so I can’t find time to go through the house and make a list for them. I also haven’t had a working dishwasher after almost two months and the smell in my kitchen is getting out of hand. Life events prompted a rather quick cross country move requiring us to focus on inventory homes. After reviewing several choices from various builders on-line we chose Bloomfield Homes. The homes looked much more appealing than other builders, and the inventory was good. Additional research revealed Bloomfield is very reputable builder of quality homes. They addressed a few minor issues prior to closing and were very easy to work with. We are very pleased with the our Bloomfield home.

I liked the pricing of the house compared to competitors and also the customization options. Things looked okay until I saw the insulation methodology. The thing I can't digest is the usage of cardboard for weather barrier which coupled with the workmanship which is mediocre. So I am gonna have to live in a noisy, leaky, uncomfortable house with potential mold and pest problems. I expect better quality house for paying over a half million dollar. They are also rubbing it in by using weather barrier with 1in foam for all the houses that are currently under construction aroind my house.

Rob and Rhonda are very helpful on the sales end. We bought a house in Sable Creek (Sanger, Tx) that was 80% complete and they emailed weekly updates as to what work was to be completed in the following week. That was amazing. Our builder (Jerry) was always around and answered many questions and helped us understand how to maintain many of the systems in our house. He is very personable and we highly recommend Bloomfield homes.

I am very pleased with my Bloomfield Home. While going through the buying process, we experienced great customer service. Kudos to the Bloomfield Homes staff.

From the get go David made our experience wonderful. He was authentic and honest with everything he told us and helped us out with any first time questions we had. He one of a kind. The material selection meeting is a an eye opener as all the good stuff is extra but expected. The building process was a little different because they let you know that everything has to be drawn per plan but when confronted that an area was not built per the plan they had an excuse or push backed. In the end somethings were picked up and other were not. Overall a good experience but could have been great.

They fix issues when they get to it. Your it not a bad priority. Once you move in. Good luck

Love the house and feel it was a really good value. Sales guy was a bit of a stick in the mud as we were working on closing with our realtor. The guys on the build side are nice and helpful. The warranty guy is great very responsive and helpful. I’d recommend Bloomfield to others with some heads up for the process.

Front and back yard are uneven and garage and front concrete aren't correctly put in place

Bad service to warranty concerns. The homebuyer must know maintenance of floor based on flooring before hand. Absurd. No maintenance discussed or disclosed.

The whole buying and building experience was as easy and painless as possible for a project of this size. Sales and design staff were very helpful and responsive. No major issues during construction. Only had a few issues on finish out but all were addressed and handled by our builder. Final finish out resulted in a beautiful home!
