Overall good experience however after move in there were multiple workmanship issues. However, Sales manager and project manager were very responsive in correcting issues

This experience has been so awesome!!! The staff is amazing and very welcoming!!! Communications were very informative and updating throughout the whole process!!! Started my new year in my home and it’s heaven from the first step walking in as a homeowner!!! Thank you so much!!!

Building a new home is typically an experience like no other and there are things that Bloomfield allowed us to do that many builders at the time we were purchasing and building did not allow such as making changes and picking out our own colors, flooring, countertops, cabinets and much much more. This was individualized and not a package deal which my wife and I liked very much. Bloomfield was true to their word in our contract and did not make drastic pricing changes and pushing people away. The vast majority of the home was built well though we do have some items to turn into warranty which we have not experienced that process yet and hope that it goes well and smoothly. There are some items that should have been taken care of from the walk through and was not plus we were told that it would not be fixed that we are going to still turn into warranty and hope that we have a better outcome than we did before moving in. The floorplan we chose is a wonderful floorplan (Primrose) and we love the built-ins that Bloomfield has in the bedrooms, plus all the art niche areas. We would say that the materials used are like of great quality, however, some of the workmanship on the finish out is not. Our main issues lie with the workmanship on certain items and the timeline to go from start to finish. We don't count this against Bloomfield directly as it had to do with Vendors untimeliness in the building process, however, Bloomfield is the company that is making arrangements as to the Vendors they choose to use. We hope that there changes that are being made as a company to correct the Vendor issues that were had through the processes in our area. We had a great home buying experience with the Bloomfield Homes. Their team is very helpful and accommodating. They are versatile and work with your needs and concern. Jeff was so nice, accommodating, kind and professional person. He helped us a lot on this buying process and guide us to find the right home for us and the family. An outstanding experience with the builder from beginning to the end.

Customer service is practically non-existent. Sales person is great, but everyone else was poor; particularly the person who did the walk-through with me.

Not pleased with the staff and their response time, regarding concerns. Contractors were messy, inconsiderate of property and patched up a lot of flaws. Project manager had poor communication skills and failed to monitor job site to ensure accuracy. Third home purchased and this was the only place the agent did not show appreciation by sending a housewarming gift, not even a plant :( Wish I had given the commission to someone more hospitable/appreciative.

The house is very nice whoever did the yard did a terrible job. The slope in the back yard is huge, there is missing sod and very uneven. I would be embarrassed to claim the workmanship.

The buying experience was not bad at all. The house that we purchased is beautiful. The only thing I wish could have happened was at least one ceiling fan given as a courtesy. Especially for the price of the house that we purchased.

Good home slow on repairs. Our home was not cleaned upon more in, allot of broken glass was in our carpet. We should be granted a free house cleaning.

Very little or no information has been provided during the construction stages. I feel like I paid an extra 25K comparatively with my neighbors who have closings upcoming. I don’t know why I got this price even after going through all the painful booking process in 2021 nov. old property manager doesn’t give any information or any incentives to any one. Very limited interior upgrades available comparatively with other builders. New property manager is complete opposite. I felt like I should have bought home in 2023 with new property manager.

Being first time home buyers, we didn't know what to expect. Sara and her team made the entire experience seamless for us, from the selection of a floor plan to providing regular updates on the progress of the building. We were carried along through the whole building process down to the walk through and receiving our keys. And of course, the quality of the build is top notch with the attention to detail quite evident. It's a home we're very proud to call ours and we couldn't be happier with it. We highly recommend Bloomfield Homes to anyone buying a new home.

Overall it’s good experience

Make sure you select the appliances and features yourself. I was shown a model house with a nicer look and appliances, but it's not what I got. The standard features are cheap.

We still waiting for repairs issues. One bathroom don’t have a mirror, and the material on the cabinets is to bad and cheap!

We were looking for the perfect home in 2021 when we saw an amazing floor plan in an existing property. Our realtor found the builder and made an appointment. There we found that perfect home and were able to customize everything to our wants. All thanks to Bloomfield. The build was long due to Covid but seamless. The sales, construction and support staff have been top notch. There ever minute and answered all of our concerns. Quality at it's best!

We will reach out to the gentleman that walked with us and ask when he expects to complete his punch list. We also need to reach out to the warranty department we have three windows with broken seel. So far we are happy with the home.

Great experience for first time buying a home.

Unfortunately we received the house with many details to fix and of very poor quality. It was not what we expected, we are disappointed. Would NOT recommend it!

I am overall happy with our experience with Bloomfield Homes. We decided to select them since were willing to make a few custom changes for us, but it was unfortunate those items had to be managed by myself! Our so called project manager dropped the ball so many times I had to ask Community Manager who is really managing this construction. We selected the Carolina IV floor plan, but here are our top 10 items for future buyers to consider (especially those in master bathroom): 1) The entry rotunda lacks a closet if that’s important feature. 2) The master bathroom lacks a linen closet and were surprised the master walk-in closet did not have shelves built for that purpose. 3) The master bathroom had just one small towel bar and really no other location to install a second one. 4) The master bathroom shower entrance: Really don’t like the step down possible trip hazard as stubbed toe a few times now. 5) The kitchen cabinet toe kick pocket is not tall enough for vacuum to fit as it appears the cabinet height wasn’t raised up to accommodate the ceramic tile thickness! 6) The 2nd and 3rd bathrooms cabinets lack an upper drawer. 7) We learned at closing that gutters (on a 580k house) were an opinion but no one mentioned that when we were specifying options and models showed them included. 8) The only possible storage room in this floor plan is unfinished and lacks insulation so our laundry room water lines routed through this area froze in cold weather. Also there was a lot of trash left in this room as well which I requested prior to closing. 9) The 3rd stall garage we added is not long enough to fit a full size truck as promised since the water heater platform was relocated from spot in main garage there without our approval. We had requested builder furnish a tank-less unit or moved to spot in laundry room but were assured there would still have adequate space. 10) Requested a wider backyard gate (8 foot) but actually got a useable 7.5 foot opening so thanks for not following through on that before closing. The last item item I’d like to mention were the numerous construction delays as we watched the spec homes get priority over contracted homes. We heard the same comments from several neighbors since we moved in December. A spec home like our floor plan still sits empty but has been move-in ready two months before our closing date. The builder claims it’s been sold so many times that I don’t believe it anymore. Hopefully someone within Bloomfield corporate will reach out to me for further details. ... More

We had multiple communication issues. I never felt like the updates we received were accurate. Several items from our walk through that were pointed out to fix that did not get fixed.

The overall buying experience was professional and every detail was explained. The quality of workmanship and the equipment is good. We are happy with the product. There were few minor issues during the walkthrough which is yet to be finished and the response is not great. After the move in there were few issues identified and needed quick resolution which seems to be a dampener.

The kitchen counter has cracks and backyard has big tree and Bloomfield not responding to it once it closed

1. Mailbox keys were lost and took 4 weeks to get resolved. 2. Trim on kitchen island was not adhered and came off. Hoffman came and repaired. 3. Drawer on kitchen island is hard to close. Hoffman came and repaired but I don't believe the fix will last. 4. Cabinets have scuff marks that were supposed to be repaired by contractor but did not happen. 5. Was supposed to receive a paint and trim touchup kit but that did not happen. 6. Utilized Guardian security which is recommended by Bloomfield and was told some of the security features do not work with the dimmer switch installed on the front porch and should be replaced with a rocker switch but this is not covered by warranty. 7. Fence in front of AC unit should have an access gate. If there is an issue. a repair tech will have to walk completely around the house on hazardous sloped landscape. ... More
