Sales Manager Jeff at Bloomfield Homes Aubrey, TX was great at walking us through the whole process and updated us on each stage. Decided to get a private inspector in Phase 2 and well, let me just say I’m glad I did. If you are building I’d recommend to often visit home and take pictures (keep them for records). Inspection before closing Phase 3 was great and they had to fix all listed on the list. Now, the workmanship was average for the value of the home. I dislike how they do cocking, very tacky. My home buying experience was not how I thought it would be.after we closed and moved in we found a lot of things that needed to be addressed.but should have been addressed before we moved in.we are still finding things that needs to be addressed.they are being addressed but slowly. It’s just that a home that cost this much money for us everything inside and out should have been more on point. I know some things might be found,but not this much.

I understand that Covid is messed a lot of things up, but to take more than 13 months for basic house is ridiculous. Also, not to be able to make any changes at all was frustrating. You should call yourself Bloomfield track homes. I will say that the communication or lack there of was the biggest issue for us. From the salesman to the builder it was terrible. And the attitude that we were so lucky to even be getting a house when there were so many on the waiting list. We still over paid for a basic home, but I guess we should be grateful. We have built before with Bloomfield, but this experience was quite different. Unfortunately, the Project Manager, Floyd Argue, decided that he would not fix any issues on the house and actually asked us not to contact him with concerns. He struggled with basic knowledge of the building process and was not available for questions, concerns, or even basic walk through.

Not happy with the quality of workmanship and very long wait time without any reasonable explanation. There are multiple small issue all around the house which makes you feel like buying a used home rather than the brand new house. We did not want them to delay the closing to address those little issues, due to our existing extended lease expiration date. Houses poorly made. Material is cheap. Still waiting for my screens to be put on. Garage (concert) unfinished. Shower floor is chipping. Kitchen Cabinets drawers (two) fell off the roller making it hard to open & close. I was told the floors were real hardwood I dnt think they are. The toilet (I have 3) were the cheapest toilets BF could. I already replaced 1, i will be replacing the other 2. Made a report got no response.

Unfortunately, my home buying experience with Bloomfield Homes has been horrible so far. On my closing day (Oct 17) approx 75% of final repairs were not completed as promised. To make matters worse, Jared, the project manager was so disrespectful and threw a tantrum when asked about said repairs. He does not take accountability in making sure that Bloomfield Homes are completed to their once reputable standards. Seems bloomfield is more concerned with performing the bare minimum to sell than turning a quality product. Approximately 2 months in and already submitting a second list of warranty items. This one to include excessive floor noise from the second level while several issues have still not been addressed from the first warranty submitted.
