Overall they are pretty good. During the build,, they did take care of my concerns, The time frame took longer than specified. So be patient because you may see it may just be sitting there and they will say it is material, but when you look the material is there. Also, just make sure that you see what you asked for in the contract. I know I asked for certain things and they were not put in the contract. Got it, I did not pay for them because they weren't on there but I would have had no problem paying. Like I said, even after asking double and triple check your paperwork. I know you should of read it and I did and must of missed it. However, I and the builder knew that I had ask for what I wanted. Overall, we are very happy with our home. I do, though, have two complaints. First, Bloomfield made a math error in the price of the home, which they discovered 48 hours before closing. At that point, they stuck us with an extra $12k on the price of the home — no offer to split the mistake or make it right in any way. Once our agent loudly complained, they covered a minority of the cost. But it was very unexpected and unprofessional. Second, whoever painted the house spilled paint on the tile and carpet in every single room of the house (no exaggeration). It's astounding how much paint is everywhere. Overall we had a great experience with the Bloomfield team. Being out of state during this process made certain things difficult, but their flexibility and patience really made us feel like we made the right decision. We love our new home and community. If I had to critique one thing it would be the after closing support on fixing issues. Things are getting done but less sense of urgency compared to the building process. Still very happy overall.

My experience was a little different due to the Covid 19 pandemic and all the delays. Mostly times beyond anyones control. Although, once the building process got started it remained at a steady pace until the end

Channa was a great project manager. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed even after I closed on the home. There were some hiccups along the way but she did what she could to remedy them.

Bloomfield was one of my top three choices to build my new home (the other two being Gehan Homes and Highland Homes). Bloomfield came out on top based on reviews, my sales rep. Patrice H. (Union Park), standard upgrades and incentives. The architectural details, features and quality stood out in all the models I viewed. I settled on the Dogwood model. And I've gotten lots positive remarks from friends and family for my floor plan selection. The home is very energy efficient and sound. There have been some quality issues with certain companies, but Bloomfield remained on top of things and made sure those issues were taken care of. I enjoyed the overall process, but didn’t enjoy how dirty my house was during the building process. The wood floors were filthy throughout the build process. They should have kept them covered until the build was finished. I also asked for an upgrade that was approved by the builder and then was later told that he didn’t want to do it. That should never happen! If it’s approved during the build process then they should proceed as promised.

The quality of materials is unquestionable and the attention to details is commendable. I would hope that issues reported after move-in are responded to in a timely manner.

I would recommend other people to use Bloomfield Homes.

Great experience and absolutely love our home.

The sales experience was good and the Sales Manager made it good. However, the Construction Manager changed up and I was not informed and I had been calling with no returned calls. The new manager seemed to not care. Some things were resolved and others were not. Several times my calls were not returned. Some things seemed important and were not handled. I had to handle these issues myself, and I shouldn't have had to. Because I had real estate experience, I was able to handle many issues. I would advise the first-time home buyer to stay on the builder if you have issues because that is their job. ... More

I referred a friend to buying a new construction house with Bloomfield, he moved in faster than mine.

Michael was always very informative when we had questions and listened when we had concerns during the process. We lived nearby during the building of the house and so we came by often to see the progress. If we had a question or concern he was very patient with us and if he didn’t know an answer, which was rare, he’d get it for us. We are very happy living in our new home and the house turned out beautiful.

Beautiful designs.....I just wish the house was more ready before they schedule closing cost. There are two many to call them back for repair, retouch, fix - have to schedule days off or time off to get them done.

The design of the homes are amazing. You get a big bang for you buck.

After moving in they said to give them a call if something we see is wrong with home. He would have it fixed no problem.When my wife did call they told us just to put it on the list at the end of a year they will fix the issues under warranty. So I guess we cant have front window fixed or oven shield fixed front door hole fixed etc.

We thoroughly enjoyed our interaction with the builder, Brad B. He was very helpful and always made sure we got what we wanted out of the house, making sure things were up to par. Our experience would not have been the same without him being so good. He needs a raise! As far as the rest of our experience, it was decent. Our experience at the time of home building seemed great, that we were getting all that we wanted and weren't being gipped on anything. After closing and being in the home for a while and talking to neighbors / just being in the home and understanding more of the process of building a home from scratch, we found that we could have done things differently and asked more questions. Wish we had asked for a FULL list of possible upgrades. As well as ask if the salesperson did any extra deals (after finding out that one neighbor got a typical deal from them, but us and others did not). So it was frustrating after realizing our house could have been a little better / cheaper after the fact, but nothing to make us want to sell the place. Just wish we were more aware of our homes possibilities. When building a new home --- ASK QUESTIONS. Google what you should ask and make sure to get all the perks you can. See what the salesperson can offer you as their own personal offer. And know what ALL of the upgrades are you can add in the home. Don't just let the salesperson tell you what the main ones are. We found so many things we wished we would have added, but since we didn't know they were options, we never asked for them. AND. When doing walk throughs at the end, get on your hands and knee! Check every corner. We have found so many places that weren't painted, were knicked, or just weren't finished just right. So be sure to take time and check it all out.
