My wife and I decided it was time to finally move after 2 decades in our first home. A family friend recommended Bloomfield Homes after we had checked out several other builders. The #1 thing that I respect and appreciated about Bloomfield is the contract price was the price we paid for the home. I've heard horror stories of other builders in our area where this is not the case. The housing market is bizarre so that was peace of mind for us. We have had a few minor issues since moving in and closing but I have to give the team for our community an A in their responses so far. If there's anything to take from my review it is this, nothing or no company is ever perfect but from a Trustworthiness standpoint, I don't regret buying a Bloomfield home. Supply chain issues took more than a year to resolve. But the house is nice!

First time buyer n despite the long wait attributed by the pandemic I was always informed of every step and would highly recommend bloomfield.

Overall the home-buying experience with Bloomfield was very good. What I take exception to is to what happened after I signed the sales contract. Specifically, I was informed that the City of Forney imposed an easement for a gas line which required that my fence line was brought in by 20 feet . Therefore there is currently 20 feet x 65 feet outside my fence-line which I am required to maintain and for which I receive no enjoyment or use of. I believe Bloomfield should have renegotiated the price of the property since my home sits on a substantially smaller lot than what I purchased. Additionally, I believe the Project Manager could have been more accommodating when scheduling appointments with the buyer. There was no consideration given to the buyer's schedule for the 2 appointments with the Project Manager. I thought this was highly inconsiderate. ... More

Great experience so far! Great home

The salesman was great, but the length of time it took to actually build our house, was over a year, but now that is up is A Beautiful Home and worth the wait , but had to deal with pluming issues, only after being in the house 4 days

My experience was great. I went into contract before a lot of my features had been chosen so I was able to customize a lot of different elements. Jeff and Jordan were very responsive to any questions I had during the process.

I had a very good experience with Bloomfield. They were honest and didn't pass on the cost of materials when they were skyrocketing. The home is well-built and anything that's come up, they respond and address quickly. I would highly recommend Bloomfield!

Just moved into our home a few weeks ago and looking back it was a wild ride! Supply chain issues, employee turnover and a volatile lending market added to the drama but in the end our Bloomfield team delivered an outstanding product. Home builder/Project Manager Jerry was under a lot of pressure but juggled a lot of balls to get us in in; still a few items on the punch list but we're overall very happy with the end product and would recommend Bloomfield to anyone considering a new home.

Overall experience was very positive. The project manager was very responsive to our questions and concerns.

The process of buying our home through Bloomfield has been an exciting journey. They walked us through the design process. The builder has been very responsive during the walk-thru and after closing. Suggestion: For those of us that would like more than 2.5hrs to make design decisions, it would help to have some online brochures to browse over long before meeting with the design consultant.

Bloomfield was great throughout the entire process. Even with the delays because of everything from the pandemic and material shortages they still worked hard to get us built,and closed.

We had to wait a long time due to material shortages but in the end it was all worth while. We love our new home and neighborhood. In fact I have convinced a buyer that to they should buy Bloomfield and just waiting for lot release in May.

We love our home, everything worked out with the build. We have one thing needing addressed and haven’t gotten it resolved.

The entire process was smooth sailing. I greatly appreciated the continuous communication from the project manager, quickness of answering any questions and addressing any and all concerns. I would highly recommend Bloomfield Homes for there attention to detail, customer service, and professionalism!

The experience has been great so far! The team here at Buffalo Ridge has been very helpful and professional as well. I'm truly happy with the house.

Overall they are pretty good. During the build,, they did take care of my concerns, The time frame took longer than specified. So be patient because you may see it may just be sitting there and they will say it is material, but when you look the material is there. Also, just make sure that you see what you asked for in the contract. I know I asked for certain things and they were not put in the contract. Got it, I did not pay for them because they weren't on there but I would have had no problem paying. Like I said, even after asking double and triple check your paperwork. I know you should of read it and I did and must of missed it. However, I and the builder knew that I had ask for what I wanted. Overall, we are very happy with our home. I do, though, have two complaints. First, Bloomfield made a math error in the price of the home, which they discovered 48 hours before closing. At that point, they stuck us with an extra $12k on the price of the home — no offer to split the mistake or make it right in any way. Once our agent loudly complained, they covered a minority of the cost. But it was very unexpected and unprofessional. Second, whoever painted the house spilled paint on the tile and carpet in every single room of the house (no exaggeration). It's astounding how much paint is everywhere. Overall we had a great experience with the Bloomfield team. Being out of state during this process made certain things difficult, but their flexibility and patience really made us feel like we made the right decision. We love our new home and community. If I had to critique one thing it would be the after closing support on fixing issues. Things are getting done but less sense of urgency compared to the building process. Still very happy overall.

My experience was a little different due to the Covid 19 pandemic and all the delays. Mostly times beyond anyones control. Although, once the building process got started it remained at a steady pace until the end

Channa was a great project manager. She went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed even after I closed on the home. There were some hiccups along the way but she did what she could to remedy them.

Bloomfield was one of my top three choices to build my new home (the other two being Gehan Homes and Highland Homes). Bloomfield came out on top based on reviews, my sales rep. Patrice H. (Union Park), standard upgrades and incentives. The architectural details, features and quality stood out in all the models I viewed. I settled on the Dogwood model. And I've gotten lots positive remarks from friends and family for my floor plan selection. The home is very energy efficient and sound. There have been some quality issues with certain companies, but Bloomfield remained on top of things and made sure those issues were taken care of.
