The process to build my Bloomfield home was horrendous. Trying to reach someone to get issues around my home fixed is a nightmare. I will never go with Bloomfield again. It took almost a year and half to build my home.

1) Bloomfield messed up on the brick for our front patio and columns. The columns were crooked and brick was cracking and falling off. The slope of brick which is supposed to clear the window of our office in the front was blocking the window. I had to get into an argument with them so they would fix it because they weren't going to. They tried to say it was right then I submitted them pictures of the same house they built from different streets and then they had no choice but to fix. 2) During the final walk through we had to place hundreds of tape markers on the walls, doors and ...

Indy and Anthony Lied and blamed one another constantly

This was by far the worst build in my home buying experience…. This is number 3… Indy was the worst person to communicate with and pushed everything off on her assistants. Anthony the project manager was horrible as well, he made this build feel like we were getting the worst quality and craftsmanship available, always saying he can’t find contractors to finish jobs.. I’m fixing a lot of theses issues myself.

The builder, Mike, we dealt with was by far the most horrible human being. He was extremely rude and disrespectful. He never wanted to answer our questions/concerns. Sometimes he wouldn't respond at all. We called corporate to no avail. These people act as if they are not in business. During the building process there were an abundance of quality issues, lying, and wrong things being done, things left out of building plan that HAD to be addressed and the experience of dealing with the builder was gruesome! Bad customer service, the salesperson didn't pay attention to my needs and what I wanted. He lied to me about wht I was getting and have the inspection alot of things wasn't done right. Just a terrible job by your company

VERY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE WITH THIS COMPANY, THE SALE PERSON GAVE TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE, HE DOESNT LISTEN AND NEVER ONCE DID HE INTRODUCE ME TO THE BUILDERS. THEY LEFT THINGS NOT DONE RIGHT, I HAD TO CALL THE WARRANTY COMPANY AND THE JOB STILL NOT FINISH. I WASTED TO MUCH MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY.

Horrible experience. The sales manager was unorganized, didn't communicate. The home construction phase was Horrible things were done wrong and upon completion after during a home inspection found other issues.

We’ve had an ongoing roof leak since we moved in that doesn’t seem will ever get resolved. We have issues with the sod and grade of the backyard that also doesn’t seem likely to be resolved anytime soon. The Warrenty person doesn’t return calls , now that they have our money we’re not a priority anymore, on to the next new buyer. After closing new buyers are not priority. That’s been my experience

The sales representative was amazing but the quality of work is not what I expected. Even now I am in the house and they came to do touch up paint, the caulking at the bottom of the floor looks as if I been in the house for months. And they still missed areas with the touch up paint and when I tried to explain it to them, they didn’t understand and would make the areas worst. Smh... The quality of the paint on the kitchen cabinets disturbs me, if I slightly even hit one of the cabinets incorrect the paints clips off and it should not be that way at all. I don't know what to say except to quote standards that meets an approved industry standard. You can check yourself the International Code Council Sec 1604.4 Wind Standards for this area is 90 MPH and the same section defines how wind speeds are determined. If you listen to the weather stations they quote wind gust not wind speed. The project manager could have pulled that to someone else and it would have worked, just so happen it pulled that on the wrong person who knew better. If you do not want to fix the fence then just say so, but don't quote me some thing that I know is wrong. The ...

They refuse to fix things properly and want to do a work around. I have an exterior door that is not square and they’re tried to shim it and add additional weather strip. The new weather stripping is already getting worn because the door does not sit properly and they’ve been put twice to fix it and yet they refuse to acknowledge the actual problem.

If I could I would have picked another builder

If I could I would have picked another builder, we were told the ants on the outside of the home were going to be taken care of before we moved in that was October of 2018. We have spent months with Orkin trying to rid the home of ants. Once you sign your contract your on your own. We would not recommend Bloomfield Homes to anyone. We have so many issues and I’m the one taking care of them. Oh well buyer beware.
