I realize there are delays in construction but was disappointed in the delays we experienced while staying at a hotel with two dogs. Everyone has been great to work with.

Everyone was attentive and kind throughout the entire process.

The buying process was smooth.I bought a spec home so didn't have to pick any items. If I had to do it over I would change a few of the selections.

He’s always on the job and has always been available

Chet Cameron was my builder he was amazing. He was on top of everything and if he didn’t notice anything and I told him he was on it right away with out hesitation. And just made the home building the best it could be during the pandemic.

Bloomfield staff was great to work with. I am very happy with my home.

We signed purchase agreement early March 2020 with a December close. COVID-19 brought things to a stand still but despite material delays we were only pushed out 30 days. We are very happy with the final result. The material/design and the quality installation by each trade shows within the end result.

We had a great experience buying the first house we've ever built from the ground up. We did not expect to be able to customize so much of the house but we did! More than just carpet and tile color. But we were able to move some bedroom door locations and pick out even the smallest details like grout color for the back splash. The team at Bloomfield stayed in contact with us every step of the way which was very important since we're building in the middle of the pandemic. They also allowed us to come by the site anytime throughout the building process. Whenever we had any questions or concerns, we they always addressed very expediently and they made sure we were satisfied. The one and only issue we had was the quality of the workmanship of the subcontractors that did the master bathroom tile. Communication could be a little tighter, but overall a great experience.

Better than standard homes builders.

Don't settle for entry level selections. UPGRADE! UPGRADE! UPGRADE! ask as many questions as possible. If you don't ask for it, they will not offer it.

Process was easy, disliked having to go to Southlake to close which was one hour away.

Home is well built and any issues have been resolved quickly. Downside is the lot. I was promised a level lot, in particular, the backyard. Lot is not level which causes pooling of water, mud pits and drainage issues. This will cost me a lot of money to get corrected. It's obvious the lot was not graded or smoothed out prior to placing the sod. Ruts and grooves throughout. And the side yards are useless due to the extreme slope on both sides.

Overall pleased with my home purchase; however, it would be beneficial to Customers if the the grading of the property and landscaping process is reevaluated for quality improvement. I spent my effort exculvating boards with nails, plastic bottles, and trash as well as covering irrigation lines. In addition, there is poor irrigation coverage and flooding in some areas that may require one or more service calls to correct.

Overall I was happy with my purchase however tile floors need to have grout haze removed more fully with heavy duty cleaning prior to move-in.

Our experience began spectacular and as we progressed through our 1st time building a home; with high excitement level there were a few misinterpreted customization liberty's between us the buyer, sales office and builders preference as we got close to the end of the build. After a few emails and face to face meeting we were able to come to a happy median. Well worth the delays and the periodic detailed conversation for understanding, the only improvements would be more detail explanation on what new buyers can do and cant do during the construction period. Make sure that if moving in a new Nieghborhood make sure all the street names are good with the city of not it could delay getting started for about three months

This is the second house we have built with Bloomfield, our first one was a Hawthorn 1 that we outgrew. We went with Bloomfield again due to knowing what we were getting in terms of quality and such. We built a Primrose-FE-VI this time on a half acre lot so hopefully we won't be moving again, but if we did I would use Bloomfield again. One thing I would like to see Bloomfield incorporate would be more option lists like appliances choices and such. Instead of just having a std gas and std electric package, it would be nice to have a price list for each available appliance. I feel the appliance vender is over pricing upgrades because no one knows the valve of the included appliances so no credit get applied. The reason for my impression is it was cheaper for me to have the basic appliances installed and then buy the upgrade and "throw away" the other and still be half the price of the upgrade. Another thing would be for Bloomfield to offer generator ready options and turn key generators on their builds that have natural gas available. Robin and her support staff were fantastic. Held our hands throughout the buying process and navigated us around a few obstacles. The experience was stress free and I believe that’s because of the caring and professional approach of the Bloomfield Team.

Loving most everything about our home. The lack of timeliness of getting things repaired or looked at has been somewhat disappointing and unexpected.

Great home first and foremost. Beautiful. No complaints about the design or the cost. The complaint comes against the community manager. Man I cannot say this with enough force; ZERO communication about the closing process. Total guesswork the entire time as far as closing dates. Was told at the very beginning that projected closing date was December 11. That day came and went. Ended up closing February 26. Was never told that after you “walk” the property you are expected to close within 5 days of that occurrence. Left out to dry as far as the previous residence and what to do with that as far as timeline goes because there was never a timeline. Long story short I don’t buy houses all the time so I don’t know the procedures. Without my loan officer it would have been a miserable process. GREAT house! Our overall experience with the sales manager, Dona Bolton, was amazing. She was helpful throughout every step of the process. As we moved into our new home we definitely were in love with it. However after being here a few months, we are not as in love as before. Our first discovery is realizing the home is not fully insulated. When we had our TVs mounted we found the walls between the bedroom and living room are not insulated. Next, we are in our first wintery weather experience and the house is EXTREMELY cold in some rooms. Turning on the heat does not help as it makes other rooms EXTREMELY hot while the rooms that are super cold are trying to warm up. This makes it difficult to get the home comfortable and not have to run up our electric bill or gas bill. There are a few construction issues as a few things fell apart in a matter of a few days. We have waited five years for our Bloomfield home and are greatly disappointed with the lack of customer service from the community manager to the construction /project manager.We have been highly disappointed in the quality or lack of workmanship throughout the house. We paid a lot of money for poor quality and service.

I recently purchased a home from Bloomfield Homes at Hulen Trail, and overall, I found that the houses are generally in line with what you pay for. The prices are reasonable, and the community manager was a standout in terms of being great and very responsive. I always felt like I could count on her for assistance. During the closing process, we encountered some issues with the quality of the home. However, the community manager was extremely helpful in organizing and addressing all of these problems. Her support made the process much smoother and alleviated some of the stress. That being said, I must mention that the overall quality of workmanship falls short of European standards, or even what one might consider average. While the houses have a nice interior and spaciousness, it's important to be aware of several flaws that I came across. For starters, there were strange spots on the ceiling, and one of the windows was still crooked, indicating poor assembly quality. The exterior finishing also had multiple gaps and peeling materials, which was disappointing. Additionally, the tiles were left dirty with paint stains that I've struggled to remove. Even the patio tiles were improperly installed and prone to breaking. The silicone sealing around the garage gate was unfinished, and the fence was noticeably crooked, indicating a lack of attention during construction. Furthermore, I would like to add that the kitchen cabinet painting was also neglected. The fronts of the cabinets had two different tones of gray, and it was evident that some of them were not painted well. This inconsistency in color and the poor paint job was disappointing, considering the importance of the kitchen as a focal point in a home. It's crucial for Bloomfield Homes to pay closer attention to the details, especially when it comes to aspects as prominent as the kitchen cabinets. Ensuring a consistent and high-quality paint finish would greatly enhance the overall appeal and value of the homes they build. It's worth mentioning that you can report these issues to their warranty, and it's understandable that they work with multiple contractors. However, it's crucial for the quality standards to improve, as these flaws are noticeable and can be frustrating for homeowners. Despite these shortcomings, I want to emphasize that Bloomfield Homes at Hulen Trail is still better than other builders in the neighborhood. Just make sure you look at everything closely at your home before putting your earnest money down. We like our home we don’t love it and that’s a big difference. Not our first home that we purchased and we loved our other home. And for the price of these homes could certainly offer much more but it seems there is a lot of cost cutting!
