Our house took 13 months to complete, was only supposed to take 6. Communication from the sales and builder side is awful. We didn't have a closing date until 2 days before we actually closed. End product of home was great, and they stand by their warranty but they need new sales staff and much better communication.

Overall the building processed lacked communication. Very slow to respond to serious questions. However, home did come out very nice. Now that we have a few warranty issues the lack of communication and follow up seems disorganized and or non-existent.

Terry our builder was very helpful and responsive. Great to work with, professional and made the experience well worth it.

There are things I didn’t notice on walk thru I do now but warranty covers should be fine .

This is my second newly built home and Bloomfield has been amazing to deal with from the moment we put a contract down to even dealing with minor warranty issues here and there. They honored the contracted sales price at a time other home builders wouldn’t and they delivered on time (shout out to Jeremy, our project manager). Highly recommended.

We knew going into this homebuying process that we were in a pandemic. We asked from the very beginning about any foreseeable delays. I understand that the builder cannot control supplies and things like that but this process was very difficult on me and my husband. We knew we had to sell our current home before we close because we did not have a contingency sale. So that went without a hitch. We moved six times before we were able to finally move into our home. The home is beautiful we’ve had a lot of minor workmanship issues. Bloomfield staff has been very responsive and taking care of those small items. So I don’t want to be unfair to Bloomfield for our heartbreak in the home buying process. I think that the sales person in the office needs to be more personable and compassionate when difficult situations arise. Stating to people “ That’s construction” is insensitive and unprofessional. Overall, we are very pleased with our home and so far the neighborhood has been nice and quite. Chris was always responsive, helpful, and professional. He was the best part of the process. From the sales team to the gentleman responsible for construction, the Bloomfield team was courteous and professional during the entire process. While the covid virus did all it could do to disrupt things, Bloomfield went out of their way to make the process as smooth as possible. Love our new home.

Bloomfield homes build my family’s dream home… we are extremely happy with our home… the building process is smooth and all the issues that comes with building a home are well mannered by this builder.. what you sign at contract is what you pay at closing.. price will not change like other builders..

Very nice people to work with!. Specially Rhonda, Rob, and Kevin (The builder). They will go above and beyond to meet your expectations and are always kind in answering all questions you may have. Now to the quality of the house. During construction, we would always see top quality in materials and installation. The builder was verifying the construction phase every step of the way, and always corrected/pointed any mistakes the working crew did. We did have a few concerns, and he was always there to make sure they were addressed. Now, to the warranty, as with any construction, there may be small things here and there, but what differences Bloomfield at Watersbend from any other builder is that they do care about their customers. Our warranty emails/questions have been addressed in a timely matter, and the crew doing the work has always been polite and speaks highly of the company. The only thing I dislike is the quality of backfill they used for the yard area. Instead of adding pot soil, they used sand which makes the grass hard to main green. One BIG DIFFERENCE from this builder than the others, is that they KEPT THEIR WORD on the contract, and did not raise the price of the house. Very happy with them. ... More

Thanks for the time she took to explain every aspect of the home buying process. Thanks to Eric as well for all he did to make sure all of questions and concerns were answered during the building process and during our final walk. I HAVE HADE 5 HOMES AND THIS IS THE BEST ONE I HAVE HAD. THE QUALITY I GOT FOR THE MONEY I PAID. I HAVE BUILT 2 OF THE 5 I HAVE OWNED SO I'M FAMILIAR WITH BUILDING AND THE QUALITY OF THIS HOUSE IS OUTSTANDING. THERE IS NOTHING I WOULD CHANGE.

Workmanship was just poor . We did a initial walk through with the house not complete . The building foreman knew that the was not ready, but continued on with the walk through anyway. Yes he did say if we were not happy we can postpone the walk through the out the whole walk through. He knew there was a lot that needed to be done and fixed but was only going to fix the things we asked and saw, so if there were things that we didn’t catch and he knew of or saw he wasn’t gonna mark them down . We had a window that was missing for a couple of months and when we brought it up to their attention that we could possibly have water damage from rain they said the window was stolen and it don’t rain from when we informed them “probably a couple days”. But the window was missing for over a month . And we had some good rain within that month .driveway has a big crack but we were told it doesn’t hurt anything it’s just cosmetic. I think if I’m gonna pay over 350 k for a new house we should get a house that looks new . Rocks were left all over the yard sod just layer on top , when u cut grass one day a rock went flying and could’ve cracked a window . Paint and supplies were left in the house and I had to drive to drop off and dispose of them Beer cans and urine left in our bathrooms during the build . Some of our walls are starting to separate. I’m just wondering on how to word it to the warranty department, cause when I did call they try to make it like we don’t know what we’re taking about . We heard good things about Bloomfield that’s why we gave them a chance . I’m pretty sure the builders worked hard , but the workmanship and quality is not there . We understand that the house will settle and little cosmetic things will arise . But the blatant overlooking of good workmanship and waiting for us customers to find the things that are wrong and point them out to the builder is not acceptable. ... More

this is a great home, my family loves it. location is amazing. this builder also never came back and changed their pricing after the contract was signed. during the time we did our build many other builders went back on their contract and asked for more money. it was a great relief knowing i picked a builder with integrity

Placement of AC unit we can’t use our gate AC unit is blocking gate our landscaping is poor quality back yard has poor draining issues We had other issues through out our process.

Not at all what we thought it would be for our first time buying a home. Landscaping is horrible tons of rocks under the sod. Water doesn’t drain on one side of the house. Still waiting to get some things repaired. The builder knows that the contractors do SLOPPY work and they drink on the job which is bad all together beer bottles be everywhere. Still waiting to hear back from the warranty department.. Love the home but poor quality no insulation in the walls at all you can hear every move somebody makes and when the toilet is flushed upstairs. POOR quality and nobody cares cause it’s not their money being spent cause it’s ours. ... More

I realize there are delays in construction but was disappointed in the delays we experienced while staying at a hotel with two dogs. Everyone has been great to work with.
