We realize that a newly built house (fast tracked) there are always some problems which are tracked through a punch out list. This is ongoing, as it should be. Several individuals during the purchase of the property have been extremely helpful, and at times now are still a dependable resource. This is not our first house purchase and we expected a more transparent information process, deficiencies are noted and sent up through the proper channels. The problem is the lack of communication from the Project Manager; deficiencies are noted and the Myrtle Beach office tracks and sends a follow up email, but we cannot receive a timeline as to when these repairs are to be made, some have and we are grateful but others are still pending. The biggest cost in time and resources has been an incomplete back yard, this has cost us over $2000.00 and many man hours to take an area from downed trees and stumps to what it is now and should have been completed prior to our move in date. This started with the hiring of a certified surveyor to accurately mark our property lines; prior to our installation of an HOA approved fence. Since the purchased lawn irrigation system was not completed to the property lines, this also has been noted to the Myrtle Beach Office. The ratings given for Trustworthiness and Responsiveness to issues reflect our frustration(s) with the first few months in our new home. We have only lived in this house 1 month and the ac has already leaked into the ceiling causing drywall damage and mold. The AC was wired wrong and ran 24/7 for a month causing the ac unit to leak and our electricity bill to triple in cost. There was also things promised at closing that never got fixed and the vent in the roof was not sealed causing rain to leak into our attic. Not very happy with the total experience. Problems with Pulte mortgage. Builder cancels framing walkthrough 10 minutes before schedule. Nobody could tell me why. Craftsmanship subpar. One month in, sewer backed up, floor cracked, sprinkler pipe burst, surround sound speaker wire not connected, can lights not centered in gathering space, $4,000 sod looks terrible.
