Have a 4 foot crack in the ceiling. I've contacted the builder rep and the sales manager is aware. The crack appeared on 11-15-19 it is now 12-11-19 and still no one has came by to look at to get it repaired.

Centex is a good home Builder.

My wife and I were so happy to have gotten a brand new home. That is, until a week after we moved in. We'd found smudges on our paint, the builders had used our microwave during construction and didn't clean it, the painters left a pile of trash painting paper crammed under the oven, carpet nails protruded up enough to stab both of our feet when we walked barefoot, the glass shower door collides with the bathroom doorknob, indoor paint was used to paint the entire exterior back porch wall, the garage door had peeling paint(and when it was finally repainted, they painted it shut), several cracked tiles in the kitchen, countertops were sharp-edged(and actually cut my wife's arm), trim and molding was improperly installed, the underside of EVERY windowsill was unpainted, the master bedroom window leaks when it rains, and the twelve page list goes on. When we addressed these issues with the builders, we got a number of fun responses, like, "the carpet nails are supposed to be that way," "I don't know why it's doing that," "oh that's not us, that's the window people" (and when the window people came, "oh that's not us, that's the builders"), and when told that this shoddy workmanship is unacceptable, "you have the right to feel that way, but we take pride in our work." Wrong, sir. You take pride in cutting corners to save time and money. If you took pride in your work, this house wouldn't require major repairs by day 14. If my wife and I wanted to buy a fixer-upper, we wouldn't have shelled out $214k for it. We wanted a brand new house that looks and acts like a brand new house, and your pride failed to deliver. Anyway, after a few weeks of my wife relentlessly keeping on them, and after a few weeks of siccing our awesome real estate agent on them, they've been slowly and begrudgingly repairing things. We've had to practically supervise them in their work, however, because they'll try to cut corners even on their repairs and pull the wool over your eyes, if they can. A few days ago, we found that the leaky master bedroom window sill is now spongy, and moves if we press on it, undoubtedly as a result of water damage from rain leaking in. Summary: it has been a most unpleasant experience, the realization that our new home isn't a quality new home, dealing with Pulte, and having to fight tooth and nail to get them to do their job and do it right. Oh, I nearly forgot my favorite lie they tried to feed my wife: Construction supervisor: "This is the first time we've had these kind of problems. Your neighbors didn't have any issues." My wife: "Really? That's strange, because when I told them about our problems, they said, 'we've had the same problems, too!'" ... More

The best advice I can give is to follow your instincts and ask lots and lots of questions about anything you don’t understand. Overall we are happy with our new home and enjoyed the home buying/building process with center. Great experience!!!

The prices that was given to us to build our first home was awesome. Thank you for making me a first time home owner.

Home is nice. Workers and pretty responsive

My husband and I were extremely satisfied with our experience and house overall! We would definitely recommend a Centex home to family and friends.

Could use some work on the response time when requesting a work order

I am an out of state investor and did everything remotely without ever seeing the property. My broker who is local did the final walkthrough. The whole process went smoothly, and they offered a great mortgage rate. Also, I was able to get it rented within a few weeks at a price that makes this a good investment.

After closing Mr. Caban had been taking great care of some issues on my property. His professionalism is amazing.

I have an issue with my back yard it is sinking into the retention pond can someone please help me with this before it reaches the house thank you so much for your help.

Centex agent was very rude and misleading on several issues. House was unfinished at closing and she threatened us like it's our fault if we backed out.

Centex always kept in touch with me weekly with the progress that was being made. So far, no problems!

Love the house but the small issues do not get resolved and when they do finally get resolved something else gets messed up or it doesn’t get done right

I am not happy overall

I was satisfied by the service provided including taking the time to walk through all quality checks and willingness to fix problems quickly.

Build experience was amazing, our sales consultant and build manager made things a breeze. We love our home and everything in it however the warranty process has been absolutely awful and far from the amazing experience we had with the build. It’s been almost 2 months since we’ve moved in and I have emailed warranty countless times about issues that need to be fixed and have yet to be fixed. Not a great way to treat customers after close in my opinion.

For the most part we are happy with our new home. Any issues with build quality are of normal nature and dealt with in a professional manner by the warranty staff.

I am in love with my new home. A lot of things other pay for as upgrades came standard for us.
