This was honestly the worst experience of my life. In full transparency there were only 2 people that cared about Elaine and I as a person during this process and that was Jack(builder) and Winn(sales rep). Our closing date was moved several times and we were unsure of what was going on. It felt like we were being treated poorly for not using Pulte mortgage. Builders had great response during the build. Warranty people amazing while during the build. I had an issue with the shower floor, found a tiny hole once I moved in. Through this hole water was draining to the foundation. Reached out to builder and warranty people. Worst response and never took responsibility of this. As a whole, I had a bad experience during loan process and warranty issues.

The inner offices of Pulte Mortgage and Centex homes has to be the most dysfunctional group of misfits ever put together. The experience was stressful and unclear 98% of the time. Paperwork was done 3 times and still never correctly done. Too many to list, this is just getting me mad rehashing this in my mind. Good day!

This process was extremely difficult. Still have issues with home 2 months after living in it. I’m very disappointed in centex. I choose centex because of the pulte brand and due to home cost. Being a pulte brand I expected a lot more. The cost of the home is literally the only thing that kept me interested in purchasing a home with centex.

The home is beautiful! The site managers are ridiculous. Literally it’s like pulling teeth to get them to answer questions directly. Constantly give noncommittal responses or just don’t respond to them at all. After closing, we were assigned another site manager. Same issue. Takes days to respond. Already had issues with features of our home and had to put in service tickets. I’d suggest another builder. Pulte (Centext) seem to only think of you as a number and just want your money.

From the beginning, communication has been terrible. I am extremely disappointed with our sales representative Andre. I first looked at purchasing the home while deployed overseas with the military using a power of attorney, my father. The house was advertised as April 7, 2019 complete. I loved the house and we were told BY ANDRE that closing would be in May on the 7th AS WAS AGREED TO DUE TO THE FACT THAT I WAS RETURNING HOME IN MARCH. If you go with Centex I highly encourage you have a third party home inspection completed prior to closing. Do not close until all of your issues are completely resolved. It will save you several hours of frustration ofter closing by getting the defects resolved prior to Centex/Pulte getting their funds.

When buying a centex home they have all these extra steps to make you feel like they care and want to make sure the house is perfect for you but it’s all a show. They have 2 walks throughs in my case one after drywall to meet the PM, and another before close. At the initial walk though 3 months prior to closing I brought up some issues with my home and was told it will be taken care of which it never did. Even at pre closing they told me they will fix it yet again and did not. Closed on the house extremely behind schedule almost 3 months behind. Even after everything still dealing with issues.

Misleading and sub par quality!

Firstly, when any company offers incentives, ask very specific questions. We were offered 5.5% AND $10,000 cash to do with what we want, well over half of that 10g’s went to buying down the interest, this was never disclosed. Centex dealt/deals with Pulte mort. Co a was an extremely unprofessional and frustrating process from beginning to end. I would not recommend Centex homes or Pulte financial group to anyone.

From the day we went under contract until now, we are having repeated issues and lack of problems being resolved quickly. We closed and got keys. We were given keys that did not even work. I was told when I would point out bad quality or issues in my walk through, that I purchased a “level 3” house and needed to remember that. I am not exactly sure what that means, but as a home buyer that’s not a response I should ever hear. Also issues were not reviled before closing as I was “promised” they would be.

We have quite a lot of issues with this new build home And none of them are resolved yet, there isn’t any timeline yet for the fixes First, vinyl floor installation is very poor quality. The work is carried out by RiteRug, which surprised me. We have found a lot of places that short end joints are separated. So when you step on it, it squeaks and falls. For starters, pulte mortgage fumbled the entire loan process from beginning to end, leaving me to figure out how to get approved by the guidance of a completely independent loan officer outside of PMC. Day one we had kitchen sink issues with water going everywhere and the representative emailing that she is out of office for the weekend and will not respond until Monday. Cheap Quality

The materials are cheap. The homes are expensive and they provide cheap or the bare minimum. No ceiling fans, no handles on the any of the cabinets. I wasnt aware most of the these homes are rentals until after i moved here and someone told me. Had I known i wouldnt have purchased. I have put in TWO service calls and no one has reached out. We have these cheap dated sliding patio doors that i havent seen since the 80’s. Everything is the houses are super cheap wven the flimsy doors and cheap hardware. I hate it.
