The quality of the materials used appears to better than an average build in Florida. The construction bosses are very available and responsive to questions and concerns. The scheduling of the various subcontractors keeps the build process moving along in a very efficient manner. Since moving in we've had no major issues and just a few minor issues that are scheduled to be resolved. We would recommend a Pulte/Centex home to any of our friends.

Great builder

Even though we had delays due to city requirements, the builder was great throughout the entire process. They were very helpful most especially the builder for my house I had because he was more than great. I would definitely recommend Centex to family and friends.

Some cheap parts. Kitchen sink is equivalent to trailer house sink. Not enough closet space. Option of double rods in closet would be nice with a 9 ft. ceiling

When I found my home, it wasn’t finished so I got choose my flooring and cabinet colors and associated trim finish. My agents were helpful throughout the whole process. I love my Centex home.

Overall we are very pleased with the final out come of our home. We were provided biweekly updates of where they were in the build process. They made sure we had all the information we needed as first time home owners. They even checked on us after closing to see if there was anything we needed. I would definitely recommend Centex to anyone. We are loving our house and neighborhood.

We had nothing but issues with our build out. Our manager was more like a 50’s salesman than a manager. I would not recommend that anyone build with Centex or Pulte homes.

Love the use of space in my home , and the open layout. The high ceilings are also a great feature, and the size of the bedrooms are really good, as well as bathrooms. I would of liked for the indoor paint to be satin instead of flat, white is fine but the walls easily scratch and I wish I didn't have to worry about painting wall so soon. Wish they would consider a little more space between homes, and also to proportion the lots in a more uniform way, some homes are closer together and my neighbor has more space because the way the house was placed.

Build of the home went well. Drywall and paint finish had much to be desired!! Many defects throughout the home

I didn't know i could buy a new home with my low budget but the centex professional sales people helped me to over come the obstacles and move in to a new home

As a first time homeowner, I wanted to get a newer house to avoid issues down the road. After closing, I have seen some issues with quality of workmanship and material in a short amount of time, which requires maintenance/warranty from the builder. Good thing is my builder's rep is very responsive and has been helping to address all issues I have. After these problems are taken care of, I am hopeful the property will last for a foreseeable future.

I am very pleased with my new home and with the home-buying process with Centex. They are timely, friendly, and helpful. The builders did a pretty good job keeping me informed and updated. The only issue I have really had so far is that I closed on my home about seven weeks ago and have yet to receive the "touch-up" paint that I was told would be available after closing. Aside from that, I am still excited and happy to have had my home built by Centex!

Excellent craftsmanship and customer service.

Only complaint is where they placed the AC Unit in comparison to the bedroom window when they could have easily chosen another spot that is not so intrusive.

It was fun yet stressful. Our building manager was AMAZING. He had high expectations and held his workers to them through out the process. I do think some changes would help, as far as the tubs and stuff being in the home were full of construction materials and stuff, so I've noticed scratches on them and that's not something I noticed through a walk through.

The sales and construction team were always upfront about any change of plans as the home was being built. I never felt like anyone was hiding anything through the entire process. Design and mortgage were also very simple, closing on my home was a breeze. Couldn’t be happier with our purchase

My project manager was awesome! He was very detail oriented and really cared and wanted to deliver the best home he could. All problems were addressed in a timely manner. We were walked through the process step by step and got to watch our home being built. Centex made the process easy.

I love our new home and considering it’s our first they were very helpful in every way from beginning to end and helped with all of our questions and it was definitely worth it in the end and I can say for everyone that they are very helpful and helped me get my first home and I couldn’t be happier to be living in this house and it’s all thanks to Centex for making it possible. I’m very happy with my home and everything went as planned and I’m very comfortable to be here in this neighborhood

Our home was part of the builder’s inventory so they needed to sell quickly. They worked with us and our realtor every step of the way. The process was easy and the home was everything we were hoping for. And on final walk through, I was very impressed with the knowledge the representative had about everything in the house. He walked us through how every appliance works, all flooring/siding/etc details and how to care for them, sprinkler system...EVERYTHING. We moved in knowing how our house. The only things I would say against the home are 1-the air conditioner drain pipe was constructed in such a way that the water spilled over and ended up leaking through to the bottom floor. However, the customer care team was quick to send out a repair man and fix the problem. And 2-the paint used on the walls throughout the home seems to pick up every scuff and mark possible. Being a flat paint, it does not hold up well with moving furniture in or with children in general. We will definitely need to repaint everything with a tougher finish.
