Our experience with Centex was a journey with a clear destination. During this journey we meet with handful of sales rep. Jesse and Don, they are amazing. The construction rep Lucky is the Man. Other Centex reps were met along the line we also great. There is still room for improvement. On the Pulte side, Shawn was super amazing. Always a phone call away. Thumps up Shawn! In future we would still like to patronize Centex and recommend them to friends and family members. However, regarding not painting the garage, Centex never did well. I think leveraging on the 'City provision which did not require builders to paint garages' is a dent to your road towards customers' satisfaction. To me, a building incomplete if the garage is not painted. The garage was not even paint ready. It was left on the dry wall stage. To paint, one must do stages of before- pre-paint work. It cost us close to $1000 to get our garage painted. In all, the good news is that I saw garages of homes built from mid-August till date are being painted. This is a welcome development. We purchased our Centex home during the construction process. We toured it frequently & met with our construction manager. All concerns were addressed right away & we have a well built beautiful home. We have been very pleased with the entire process. Everyone in the sales office, mortgage company, insurance company & construction staff were very professional, kind & helpful. We love our new home.

Everyone that I have dealt with regarding this home-buying experience has been professional, responsive, and great to work with. They have made it extremely easy to become part of the community.

The craftsman ship of their workers was bad. I never seen or heard of using caulk as a boarder once floors are laid, what happened to the quarter round strips, paint spots throughout home on the cheap, thin vinyl flooring and carpet. It just goes on.. what happened to quality of work and good craftsmanship.

The buying process was great and easy but after living in the home for a month and seeing how bad the workmanship is. Tickets need to be opened for everything. I am disappointed.

Home seems as though it is well-built and aside from minor cosmetic issues, not much was in the punch list. Perfect floor plan for my lifestyle. The lots are tiny unless you can find one on tree-line, water, or culd-de-sac. neighbors are too close only 3' each side property line. The HOA does provide fencing in backyard but again yards are so small, backyard about 10-13'. it feels a little claustrophobic. Lawn maintenance is included; however, easement along fence portion is not being maintained and mowing/edging for lawn maintenance crew is challenge due to standing water, wet ground & lot sizes. Water drainage issues are not atypical for Florida; however, with the yard so small, even a light afternoon rain floods the backyard to where about 3/4 of yard is under water and comes very close to the foundation. Grading is not quite right so the water does not move toward the retention pond. Landscaping package is not my favorite, couole of dead trees noted at closing have not been replaced. We were assured the trees would be 'okay' during final walk-through. Reached out to HOA, referred me to builder, builder referred me back to HOA stating they are responsible for landscaping issues, unfortunately, HOA has ceased responding. Regardless of items noted, we are very pleased with the structure, layout, and quality of the home. Pulte Mortgage made financing pleasant experience, closing was easy, warranty department appears responsive and respectful. Primary drawbacks are small lots and smaller garage space than we are used to and HOA is not super responsive. Highly recommend reading HOA documents carefully for any Florida community prior to purchasing to avoid surprises on any limitations. ... More

Being a first time homeowner I was a bit nervous in the weeks leading up to closing however my construction manager (Tristan) and everyone else in the process made the process somewhat seamless

We had to wait a couple weeks to use our dryer because they covered up the dryer vent. And we found dead birds in our vent. And had to wait for that to be cleaned

The price is not worth the quality of the workmanship, finishing and materials

I like the design and the warranty. Wish more things were customizable and the quality of some components could be better or upgrade able and some workmanship could be better.

We are pleased with our experience with Centex. They took their time with us and completed understood everything that we needed and wanted in a home.

I would highly recommend Jenna, to assist in any issues and concerns that purchasers might have....she is very resonsive and helpful during and after purchase of any unit. She goes out of her way to getting items resolved.

The sales person (Kamona) and the construction supervisor during the house inspection (Carter) were great to work with. Centex customer service have been very responsive to the warranty issues (there's always a few things) after moving into the new home. Only thing that stood out in a negative way was the low-end kitchen faucet installed; no hose, no spray option, just a plain, cheap swivel neck faucet. Considering the price of the house and so many details that were well done, could not imagine who decided to save $100 on a decent kitchen faucet. The cost to us will now be hundreds of dollars (faucet cost + plumber cost). ... More

Centex's service is great, its salespeople, its builders and the staff in general are a little slow in the solution response time, but they respond that it is the most important thing.

Good people helping you to purchase a home

Daniel promises the world and nothing gets done! Terrible experience and I have bought 3 new homes prior to this and would not recommend Pulte to anyone! The sales rep only cared about selling not about us! She could not even bother to show up at the purchase meeting! She got her commission and walked away!! Still items on our punch list have not been completed to satisfaction!!! Terrible all the way!!

Salesperson not very good, story always was changing on different issues, Site manager was excellent , concerned about our questions, lots of small details not in included in build EX Towel ring in 1/2 bath, towel rack in master and second bath separate outlet and switches for bedroom lamps now difficult to match hardware. Overall now occupied long enough to do a detailed review, lets see in 6 months

The process was made easy by the people. My home is everything I hoped for.
