We love our new home.

Check the quality of the home. 30 days in and we have several issues that are all quality related. For the money our expected value isn’t there. Based on our personal experience I’d say the builder’s reputation does not match up with what we are experiencing. In general we are dissatisfied.

The builder was good as well, they need work on time management in case the house finish before scheduled time to help the buyer.

Moved in 6 weeks ago, did not have an opportunity to a final inspection. Upon move we spoke to site manager and was told he would have these items taken care of. Sent several text to him to schedule, minimal response. I also put in a request two time on the web site for resolve and still have not heard from anyone. I have a sink faucet that is extremely loose, a hinge that is improperly installed, nail and wood chips in the stairwell, paint and spackle on the rugs, area of painting that were missed and a few other items. Some of these items were addressed in January at the first home inspection. My frustration level I'd getting higher. I would like for a principal to contact me and schedule a date to review these issues. My wife and I bought a new home and wish it to be a perfect as possible. Everywhere you look you find something new that needs attention or fixing. Great response in the beginning. Then you give them a 10 as a rating and then it all disappears. Can not get a schedule for getting the fixes you identified and handed in. No follow up from anyone in the company. Poor craftmanship on just about everything. No pride in any of the work/craftmanship. Too much to complain about, and it has been weeks and if you don't reach out to say something you will never hear anything. Every day is something new. It is a terrible feeling that you bought a house and are on your own. After such a short time. Learn to fix it yourself, you will be better off. ... More

Great buying experience. We like the fact that the home came with a dishwasher, oven, and microwave. Overall this is a great home and subdivision.

I found a wonderful home. Centex is a great builder w good people working here.

We have found several issues within the 30 day warranty of initially purchasing the home that makes us question if the home can support or last us in the long run. The fact that they don’t finish painting the garage is another issue. This was not mentioned during the purchasing process. We have found a water bottle in our background full of urine. It was removed, however why was it in our backyard to begin with? They give you 1 point of contact for the 30 day warranty, which is time consuming because that person has 20-30 other things to do in addition to helping us. A dedicated person would have been more helpful and less stressful. The 30 day warranty should be extended to 60 days because we are still finding issues within the home. ... More

the interior drainage part of the HVAC unit was never installed. therefore every time the AC would run the water from the AC was collecting in the inside AC closet. sitting water for months caused a major gnat/fly issue and a mold problem. currently still trying to get the builder to assist with this issue since this happened due to a lack of checks and balances.

Lorenzo was and is still a big help with all the construction was very knowledgeable. Always available for any questions , is he did not have a answer he would be honest and say it, but would always find a solution

Centex was easy to work with and the people are friendly.

Materials are used for kitchen and restrooms not strong enough.

From start to finish, the buying experience was pretty straightforward and easy. We love the overall design and layout of the house. There a few dings here and there, all minor, but builders have been quick to respond so far to fix them. The overall temperature insulation is excellent but one needs to add to the sound insulation inside the house.

Trevor( our project manager) has promised to resolve issues upon closing that are still happening. Afterwards he said to deal with the insurance. Make sure you don’t close until everything looks great or be ready to deal with these types of issues.

Overall had a great experience. Andrew (construction) has been great with answering and sending updates before we moved in and has been responsive to post close issues. Mark (sales person) was not the nicest. Lied about certain things and just didn’t seem to care about us. Other sales rep was amazing and super nice.

Working with Centex was an awesome experience, thanks in large part to Vernon. He was such a great guy to work with, especially for us as first-time home buyers from out of state. He made everything smooth and straightforward, guiding us through the whole process with weekly updates and answering any questions we had. What set Vernon apart was his genuine interest in our needs and concerns. He was always ready to help, fixing all the things we spotted during the walk-throughs. His attention to detail and dedication to making us happy was something we couldn't help but appreciate. But it's not just about business with Vernon. He truly cares about the families who are moving into these homes. It's more than just selling houses to him; it's about helping families find their perfect home. You can really see this in how he'd stop by to say hello if he's driving through the neighborhood. It's these personal touches that make us feel like we're part of a community, not just homeowners. Our experience with Centex, and particularly with Vernon, showed us that buying a home doesn't have to be a daunting process. Overall experience was great. Home needs minor touch ups but overall amazing great product for value/price

We wanted a modern spacious home with less yard work required. Our new Centex home is the perfect solution. We had an easy buying experience thanks to all the helpful professionals who guided us through the process. Would gladly recommend this builder to family and friends.

The process went smoothly
