I moved in a little more than a month ago and am totally impressed with my home and the build quality. My post move-in punch list is minimal and the Centex Warranty team have scheduled the trades to perform the minor repairs in a timely manner.

The buying process was very good. Corbin the sales rep was very helpful. Kyle the construction manager did an amazing job. Over all it’s way better than other builders in Marvida.

My husband and I were ready to buy our first home and I had been looking in this area at different floor plans. Came fell in love with a floor plan and got the ball rolling. Everyone was super helpful from Amy to the builder and the warranty guy. Even the loan officer and underwriter. I look forward to seeing the community grow and expand.

No response to fix issues

As you all know, buying a house can be very stressful and overwhelming even when you get everything they ask of. However, I hand my hat to this amazing team at centex homes. From putting the house under contract, the approval process, through the building process then closing, I mean it was as smooth as I could have never imagine. The communication and learning process was great with Lorenzo, even after we close. Y family and I pleased with the choice we be made and we are happy to be part of this fast growing community! From the very start, the sales office found exactly the house we were looking for. We thought we couldn’t get a house in the day and age but we did! The process was smooth and transparent. Overall we are in love with our new home.

I chose a newly constructed home over a fixer upper, because I did not want to deal with the workmen and hassle of sourcing materials etc, however it feels like a fixer upper, the finish is very poor. the floor is dull, the bathroom panels are not sealed and have gaps, I am worried water is going to seeped thru the gaps and I am going to have mold. the accessories are cheap and outdated, the front door at least could have a door handle instead of the round doorknob. the bedroom doors have closet doorknobs and cannot lock, the toilet seats and cover are heavy, I have not seen those heavy toilets and round knobs in a very long time, no bathroom windows in 2022. back door the space for the dead bolt is not chiseled out properly, some base board are not corked fully, there was grout, paint and dirty spots all over the floors and walls plugs are sealed and flat to the walls, the light switches are dated. the master bathroom could take a double sink, could have left an open space under the staircase. pantry too small and wire shelves way too narrow. The community could use a pool especially because it gets so hot during the summer and a play ground would have been nice. we could have gotten ceiling fans. I feel like, we just got the bare bones, saw same design by Lenar and the finish was much better. to say the least I love the house but disappointed in the finish product. sunken lights in the kitchen, we are in the 21st century. We could use some noise reduction windows considering, we are so close to the where the train passes and honks consistently. Please make some improvements for the future homes thank you ... More

I quality of the house is very bad and I am today disappointed. The flooring is getting to bad they did not all us to get it upgraded while signing the contract and the carpet is also low quality one. The paint job is very very bad during the walk through everything seems to be good but one we move in and stay there are lot of thing that need to be taken care down the line.

I started out with happiness and then it went to, "got the sale nothing more for homeowner". I have been in my new home for 2 months and unable to to get weatherstipping on 2 entry doors. One door had none from the start and still waiting, the other was in pieces and needed to be replaced, still waiting. Took a month to get someone to fix my garage entry door due to the fact it would not close to lock. I have submitted 3 service request and emails asking to fix these items. So, my experience has not been a smily face for a new homeowner.

All started out well but many issues came up and repairs were scheduled and missed by contractors. Calls weren't being returned by the supervisor and we had to leave multiple messaand texts to get a reply. Our issues are still not resolved after occupancy of 2 months now. I would never buy again from Pulte.

Upon first walking through the homes we purchased, we liked the colors and the fact that it was mostly tile flooring. We also liked the distance between houses. It seemed like pretty much everything we wanted. However, upon moving in and really getting to see the walls and doors and windows, we began quickly noticing a LOT of issues all with quality of workmanship. This house was thrown together so fast by people who really didn't know what the heck they were doing. All of the switch plates and doorstops were put in place before they textured and painted the walls so they are all a mess! We have to go out and buy all new to replace them. Also, the dishwasher was thrown in and not even leveled out so it is crooked and pulling the metal bar out of place at the top. one foot is completely on the floor and the other foot is as tall as it can get. UNREAL! There are large globs of caulk and plaster all over the window sills and molding along the floors and windows, even the door entryway and they painted right over it so it looks messy and cheap. When you see the entire home the few times we did before moving in, we didn't see the details because it's just so overwhelming. but as it settles with you and you begin to get familiar with it, things start to jump out at you. Our bathroom mirror was scratched really bad so after we moved in and noticed it, they brought a new one out a few weeks later to replace it and it was dirty when it was installed and they left it dirty. I cleaned it and as I did, I noticed it was also damaged from behind so I had several large black spots. I let them know. A few weeks later they showed up with a new mirror and this time they cleaned it outside and found more scratches so they didn't install it. I am still waiting for a new replacement mirror. The irrigation system is not place well enough to fully cover our yard so we have large brown dead areas. We also have many of the heads in so crooked, they don't cover effectively so we will have to dig them up and straighten them out. We also need to add a few more heads to cover the dead grass and hopefully bring it back to life. The door to the garage isn't installed correctly so the door doesn't want to close properly. You have to slam it ad then the entire wall shakes and moves like it isn't correctly tied in with the rest of the house. Overall, we are highly disappointed in the quality of the build as well as the responsiveness to our needs after move in. It really is a problem when they tell us at the time they will fix it or add to it and then later tell you why they won't or couldn't. We have built many homes before and this one is just a huge disappointment all around. It's going to take us a lot of our own work and money to correct the sloppiness and poor craftmanship of this house. ... More

Overall a great home but quality of material could be a bit better for the value being paid

Other than some delays during the build process, everything went very smoothly. Even with these delays, we closed right on time. Our salesman got us from buy date to close date, keeping us in the loop the entire time.

Centex provides great size family homes, however building materials quality lacked. Very little lighting in dining area and great room. Many more recess lights should have been used. No decorative chandelier for over dining table area. Biggest issue was super large kitchen but no backsplash at all. Jist white on white. Also only one ceiling fan in the entire home. I now have to buy and install 4 more ceiling fans and put in a backsplash

There is no reason not to buy a home in Rucker landing

Lots of different people involved, but they were all great and very helpful. They walked me through each step from the walkthrough of the house to the move in day.

These houses have major electrical issues. They're not wired correctly. There's massive drains issues. I was told I would have a warranty walkthrough at 30 days and still nothing. I had to replace 2 appliances in the first week because of the wiring. Breakers flip constantly. The response and the HOA are also extremely disappointing. If I had to do it over again I certainly wouldn't purchase here.

Great sales process through closing to 30 days after moving into new house, Centex brings it all together with many teams of people that are focused on creating great customer service.

Overall the experience was great. They made sure we would be able to get our dream home.

As a First Time Home Owner, I had a lot of questions about the buying process and things that I'll have to know about the different pieces that make it a Home. Sales Office and the Construction Team was always flexible with my timings (I'm a Out of State buyer, who had to travel a lot for our meetings) and to answer all my questions in a reasonable timeframe. I appreciate the smooth process. Few of the steps seamed intimidating and I guess it’s part of the culture of the Sales process at Pulse/Centex. I felt they kind of rushed me into signing a contract and making the initial deposit. Speaking of Quality, Its a solid 4/5. I had few minor issues after moved in which were promptly responded to to be taken care of. Walkthrough was really a huge win for us as we learned a lot of bits and pieces that are in our home. A Huge Thank You! to the construction manager for all the effort that he put into this. Over all, Its great.
