Very good experience with the personnel that we met.

Throughout the process we were advised of each step along the way, and the quality and price in a new build cannot be beat.

The complete team did a great Job to make this a great experince, since we approach to look the houses till we decided which one, great team Melissa on sales, Sale manager, Loan team Jorge/Anie , my home builder Scott, my realtor Miguel..... Before Centex .....we were with other company (Lennar) WORSE/Thieves if you are looking for houses with them go away this lennar company they will steal your money............... best company and option is CENTEX

Our house is great. Centex probably tries to give us a great product but I could give a couple of advices: - Read everything. Yes it will take a lot of time, but you need to do it. - Hire an external inspector. The external inspection's report should have a lot of pictures (my inspection was great). - You must do an inspection by yourself. The inspector is a human been and can make mistakes. In my case, he didn't notice something that I did. - Do not sign until the house has no issues. We found some issues with the house (no big problems, most of them just details),so the closing date was reschedule. During the final walkthrough I checked all the details to be solved in a rush, but I wasn't 100% agree with one solution. When we moved to our new house, that "solution" didn't work as we expected and now I am waiting for the supplier to solve the situation (little A/C adjustment). - When you receive your keys, the fist think to do (after the joy), verify the timer (splinkler system) if you have it already installed. I didn't do it. I week after we moved, I noticed that our grass was really bad (overwatering). Probably it is my bad because I should be aware of that since the beginning. Our closing date was almost 1 month after the grass was planted, we moved 1 week after the closing date, I checked the timer 1 week after we moved. The times for watering were excessive (20 minutes in some areas, everyday) and that was causing the grass begins to decompose. I am trying to solve that problem. ... More

Everything has been pretty simple and the repair/fix process has been easy too!

The homebuying experience was pretty easy overall. Steve in the sales office was great, all of the people I came in contact with in the finance and mortgage department were amazing, and Travis, who was the person that took me through my home orientation has been absolutely amazing and responsive. There are a few things in the home that I would like to change. Because I did not have the option to select the items, I did end up with a refrigerator that I’m not crazy about, but I plan on changing that as well as changing the electric stove to a gas stove. I’m really settling in nicely in my home and continue to get support from Travis when things come up. I would definitely buy from Centex again. The team has been amazing. ... More

I just purchased a home at Mavera community. Haven't had the experience of living in it yet. Mainly choice it for the beautiful nice atmosphere, and amenities it has to offer. My experience purchasing this house wouldn't have been great if it wasn't for the dedication and hard work of the warranty and construction team. Christopher and especial kudos to Coleman! Very knowledgeable, provided valuable information. Communicate effectively. Was very supportive, patient, caring and kind. Always willing to help resolve any issues or concerns I had with the house. I'm pleased and excited to be part of this neighborhood, and truly hope that I would continue to feel this way as I move in. ... More

Everything went well and in timely manner

The closing was really smooth in only 29 days I was signing all the paper work !! My wife an I were very happy.

This has been a great experience for us as first time homebuyers! We love the quality Centex use to build houses.

Alena was most helpful, courteous, and exceedingly willing to explain all aspects of what the builder offers. Always courteous with my phone calls while I was still in Virginia. Even after I finally moved in my new home, she still helped me with questions I had. Ryan also offered excellent service with a sheet mirror that had scratches and ordered a replacement. It was replaced within 7 days. Never did either employee feel interrupted when I contacted them with questions. I have to say that they are two of the main reasons that I feel that I made the right decision to move to Bradford Pointe.

My overall experience with Pulte/Centex builders has been very positive and pleasant. My construction manager, John, has been AMAZING from start to finish, and he continues to update me & respond when I have questions or concerns even after moving in. The weekly emails and pictures were so impressive and very helpful, keeping me informed when I was living over 550 miles away. The customer service follow through via email responses and phone calls is some of the best I've ever encountered. This includes all Pulte/Centex team members. The purchase process was simple. We did not finance so the sale went quickly. We were sent pictures of the building process. Construction was finished in a timely fashion. No complaints. David was wonderful to work with. He went the extra mile to help us whenever he could. Seeing that we live out of state we had a few questions and David answered them in a quick manner. 2 days prior to closing we walked the house with the construction manager and David spent the time to take us through the house and make sure everything was addressed. House was immaculate. No complaints. And if we had questions we had plenty of time to talk. That part was great and stress free. However.... What we have found frustrating is trying to get anyone to answer questions from the homeowners association after closing. Many of the questions we had could have / should have been addressed at closing. How do we handle association fees? Who do we talk to with questions? What is the "Q" app? Who handles the Q app? 14 emails and phone calls later we were forced to contact our sales agent and find out why no one picks up the phone or responds to emails. Let's not get started about association fees... We knew the amount. They were paid for the quarter at closing. We have received 3 letters stating our fees are behind and we are being charged late fees and interest. Phone calls and emails later with no one returning either again we were forced to contact sales agent. Let me state this. We love our new home. Couldn't be happier. It's beautiful. But unfortunately we have lost a lot of confidence with who is actually in charge of running the association. There's too many moving parts and no one seems to know what the other is doing or in our case not doing. It's been extremely frustrating and frankly a little scary. Many if not all of the questions /issues we had could have defiantly been addressed or handled at closing. And let's not talk about the Gate issues. Which is the only way to get to our home. No one person is responsible for any one thing and if they are no one is saying. Closing was a breeze. Very simple especially from out of state. Closing company awesome. Staff prompt in answering questions and actually returning phone calls and knowledgeable. I do have one suggestion. I do understand the reason why appliances are included in the sale. But...Purchaser should have the option to exclude them. We ended up donating our appliances and purchasing top of the line fridge,refrigerator, dishwasher and washer and dryer. We feel the appliances included were not up to the standard of the rest of our home. There's much more to be said. But space is limited. Cathy our sales agent is exceptional and awesome. David our construction manager should receive a gold star. He helped us more than he had to. These two people have made the purchase of our second home a wonderful experience. We had a great experience purchasing our first home. The process was simple and the communication was awesome. I love the community we are in and the building plan on this community

The house is good. Very disappointed with the quality of some of the material used.. Especially the quality of paint used. You used the cheapest paint possible. With what we paid for this house I expected better. We've had to deal with a double door going to outside that was not installed properly. Took three weeks to fix and the damage caused by fixing the door which resulted in flooring replaced and drywall and painting. But, it was fixed satisfactory.

Our sales rep Joey was great and straightforward with all of our questions. Very happy with the transaction. House was in good condition when we closed.

I appreciate Centex team's positive mindset and best efforts for making customer's experience the most comfortable and satisfying. I only deducted one star for the value, because of "no deck" and some "do it yourself" items, which put me in slight disadvantage compared to secondary market options in this neighborhood. Also, backyard soil packed with rocks with no sod may cause additional expenses in the future. Apart from this, most of issues I pointed during inspection, were fixed, and I am very happy overall. Thank you!

I wish the kitchen cabinet doors fit better. The hot water temperature is too low.

This process was so much easier than i expected. Christian who was part of the construction crew was extremely responsive and helpful, he even stopped by several times even when our home was already handed off. Overall can't think of a single complaint from the mortgage and financing to closing it was a great experience

Start to finish this was a good experience.

Centex has been great. They have provided exceptional service and a home of high quality. I am definitely pleased with the purchase of my new home.

Still new here, but so far everything seems great! Supposedly I have 9 or 10 months to bring up any issues. So I’ll know more then.
