It was a smooth and great home buying process. The builder manager Travis is a friendly and helped with the construction updates weekly!!!

This had to be one of the worst experiences I have gone through. I can see the seams and tape of almost all the drywall on the walls and ceilings, very amateur and not quality. I wouldn’t expect this from a “quality home builder”. Our project manager was horrible, made lists for him to correct and nothing got done. Now 4 weeks after closing I’m having to follow up weekly with no response. Some issues were the grass being very wavy and bumpy like the landscaping company never rolled it, patches where they just didn’t sod cause they ran out and didn’t come back, kitchen cabinets cracked and instead of bringing molding to the wall they just decided to caulk the gaps, paint on the carpet that I guess you just have to deal with, you can see where paint was rolled, sprayed, brushed, and the interior of the house was painted with three different colors, outside stone was just put up with no grout to where you can see the metal mesh behind it, damaged posts that were replaced, damaged siding not replaced, incorrect color siding put up originally, and the list goes on. Good home buying process and great family neighborhood!

During the closing walk around the team took the time to explain to us everything and the contingency plan to fix for some minors finding. Overall experience was very nice

The quality of the home is very average. Lots of issues would have just required an extra few minutes when it was being constructed/installed. Overall construction is just somewhere between poor and average. Just disappointed.

The paint in the backyard is very bad, the siding , isn’t painted well the carpenters didn’t use the headless nails that go in. The nailheads are are all showing around the window sills they used to rough of boards around the windows that should have been sanded & puttied. There are pits in my new siding paint already coming off because it needed another coat of paint. Also around windows they weren’t to good at puttying they just slopped int on here and there. Also why in the world would you put a door on backward? It opens out, the hinges are on the outside of the door,not very safe. The wind catches the door some times when you go outback and takes you with it. Door should open to the inside not out. Also I thought this house was suppose to be for the disabled,? Inside yes but all doors have a good 4 inch drop coming in or going out. My son in law lives here also it is very dangerous to get his walker in or out of the house,because of those steps. I have reported these things to Kevin, and I think he’s trying to fix what can be fixed,as of yet nobody has came to repaint siding or repute hopefully we are on the list. The entire process was a horrible experience. We will never use Pulte/Centex again. Misinformation and lack of communication was an issue throughout the process. Even to the point they lied about the inspectors appointments which resulted in delays in closing, failed to disclose critical repairs need day before closing, construction manager did not even do a final walk through - before or after closing. There are so many issues with the property its ridiculous, from the poor painting, screws already popping through, incomplete finishes, cabinets that needed repair that still haven't been done, paint still on floors, main floor covered in drywall dust and had to force builders to arrange a cleaning day after closing. ... Our initial experience with making an offer on the home and getting updates was good. We got weekly updates pretty consistently in the beginning, but then they started to taper off. Once we were given our closing date, I felt like a lot still needed to be done with the house and was concerned if the house would be "move-in" ready by the closing date. We ended up closing on time and moved in but had a punch list of items to address. One of our biggest concerns was our vinyl flooring, which was not installed to a satisfactory condition. Another concern was the trim work, which appeared to be rushed and sloppy. We had paint splatter on the floor in almost every room, and areas that shouldn't have paint on them had paint on them (windows, door handles, etc). We've currently been in our home for almost two months and we're still pending most of our punch list to be completed. Overall we do enjoy our home, but I also feel that it was rushed to be completed by the close date and that work wasn't done properly. Love our new home except the out of proportion fridge

This has been the most challenging and most unprofessional process I have gone through. Let me start with the workmanship; our house is still being worked on because of the awful job done throughout the house. Our cabinets, countertops, stove, drywall, restrooms, and porch needs to be fixed. The construction manager did an awful job making sure things were done correctly. Now trustworthiness, I left on vacation for eight days after closing and was told that all the repairs were going to be done during the time I was gone. When I came back, the only repair completed was the drywall, and the men working on the drywall didn't place anything on the rug/tile to protect it, and now drywall residue is stuck on the rug/tile. They missed so many things on the list of repairs, and I came home to a messy house. I could feel the drywall residue stuck to my tub and many other spots around the house. I had to argue with the construction manager to get these things repaired. Finally, their responsiveness. Halfway through the process, my original construction manager quit, and I received a message stating that my new construction manager would reach out shortly. I waited for an entire month without a response, and I decided I would get ahold of him. Well, it turns out he forgot to reach out. My communication was like this throughout the entire process. Overall we had a decent experience, and in the crazy housing market we were in, building a home was a much less stressful option. The salesperson was nice until we had an issue due to the interest rate increase. We worked it out with their manager who was much nicer. As far as the home itself, there is definitely some cheap workmanship and cut corners that don’t leave a great taste in our mouths. The seed and straw backyards are a joke, and nearly every home in the neighborhood has a crappy backyard. Plus, we still have issues that have yet to be repaired from closing, and have been told multiple times “we’ll have them call you”, which has not yet happened. The longer we’re in the home we’ve noticed a lopsided pony wall by the stairs, along with other little things that aren’t big deals but just feel cheap and could’ve been managed better. But, the plus side is that we have a new home in a nice area, and were able to get the square footage we wanted without paying an unreasonable price. Hopefully the warranty team satisfactorily helps with any issues that may arise over the next year and we’ll feel like it was worth it. ... More

Over Price home and no finishing or Quality work

To me the house that was built was just average. They could have better builder grade for flooring and cabinets. Not every room has a ceiling fan connection. They should include in the basic package gutters and sod for back yard too.

The sales and closing team were a breeze to work with and provided great value to the experience. Some issues with the process include a lack of flexibility for any options (such as using alternative light switches), and issues that were noticed and pointed out during the construction process not being acknowledged until final walk through, (a framing issue would have been better to fix when noticed before hanging sheetrock so all the texture matches). And 6 weeks after the closing there are still outstanding issues now in warranty that have yet to be resolved. Building and moving into our new home was a very smooth process. Our project manager Julio was awesome to work with and made things happen. Love how they’re still easily available after closing.

This was the most frustrating and horrible home building/buying experience I have ever had. The construction was sub par. There were constant issues that needed correction. My husband was fixing an electrical issue within one week of closing/moving in that if had gone unnoticed could have started a fire. I will never buy from or recommend this company to anyone.

The overall experience was good but the quality workmanship and materials is not so good. The doors, walls, paint and other materials is easily damaged or marked. This is the only part that is not good which definitely concerning. Thanks

Overall I have a good experience buying my house. Carter and Kristen were great. Kristen is full of information and will tell you” let me work for you, that why I’m here”, she is 100% hands on and will update you on every step of the process. Now the issue is dealing with the warranty department.

As a first time home buyer , my experience was amazing. I’ve al always heard that buying a new house is frustrating, but I can testify that the builder in charge of my house made the process smooth ( Pablo ) . Every question or concerns I had, he had answers & solutions for it. Thank you to the Pulte Team for the great experience!

The construction manager was absolutely outstanding and great to work with.

This experience was excellent. Kara took care of answering all of our questions up front and guiding us through the process as the home progressed. It was also a pleasure working with Ryan and Brooks who teamed up at different points in the process as our construction managers. I would highly recommend Centex if you are looking for a great build quality, excellent staff, and an awesome warranty team.
