Brendan was really great at our walk throughs and handling any follow up issues. I felt very trusting with him and appreciate his thoroughness. Overall I am very pleased with my homebuying experience

I hope they can address issues post home built more quickly.

I like my home very much. Certainly, God knows which one I desire and deserve. But I think the paint is not a god quality. And then I already reported some mistakes to the manager. After that until today we're following how everything is working. Thank you!

Sales, mortgage, title & warranty personnel were/are awesome. Home construction not so good. Blue tape walk thru issues were not addressed before closing (flooring, dry wall, painting throughout house, slab under AC unit not level). During final walk thru (30 min b4 closing) I noticed roof. Issues were not fixed They were fixed 10 minutes before closing. After closing, i did not experience that new home excitement. i walked into a home w/issues & new damage to masterbath that happened after my final walk thru.. Been in the house a month & finding more issues like a crack in the bathtub. If you choose to have a Centex home built, I recommend that you thoroughly check the home b4 closing. Our Construction Manager Juan was great! He gave us updates with pictures at least once a week. He always answered text messages quick.

Our realtor was excellent but was outside the builders sales team.

Super easy process of building/buying new home

The entire home buying experience was fast and simple! From the sales team to the building manager, I was kept afloat on every aspect of the home building process. Any questions that I had were answered in a timely manner. Great experience!

Senior management's response on the difficulty of rate extension and quality issues are amazingly helpful to make the purchase process less stressed.

Delayed but ok. The people are too busy.

The Quality is what you would demand of yourself if building your own home.

Several blue tape items existed and only some of them were corrected before closing. Several issues/items still exist that were never corrected. Overall workmanship on building the house is not satisfactory. Overall responsiveness from construction manager and sales representative were unsatisfactory.

Working with centex was enjoyable and easy . Kerri kept us updated throught every step. Everything was going smoothly until closing. The house wasn't ready we were pushed to close. Then all the promises to fix the issues after close were made and have not been followed through on. I would recommend to anyone thinking about buying from centex or pulte homes make sure that your new home is 100% complete before you close. Do not accept any promise to complete. They are extremely busy and once you sign those papers you fall to the back burner. Not something anyone should have to deal with when buying a new home. ... More

We had a decently easy buying process, not many delays and open communication, but the second closing papers were signed and money was in their hand we have had horrible customer service. I was promised two missing components to my home within two weeks of moving, and after several emails and unanswered calls we still don’t have them nearly two months later (except for a “hey there, did you get what you need?” Email that i answered and got no response) They are very nice before they get their money, but then it’s onto the next buyer with no follow up or care for those who just moved into their homes. Their contractors also openly litter and walk through our yard and mulch bed and step on our bushes (seen on ring doorbell) with no care as if we are not a closed property. Perfect fast exciting! The builder was communicating with us sending us photos explaining to us everything!!! Love how fast and on time everything happened!!! Thank you to the whole team and we are so happy to enjoy an amazing new home!!!

A nice and helpful experience

Alicia is PHENOMINAL to work with in the sales dept, she is so sweet and very responsive all the way through the process; even after closing she responds. She gets a 10/10 in my book. Chaz in the building dept stopped communicating after closing, I thought that was very odd. After all people go though during several months long in the building process and awaiting closing - one would think you would at least pass the homeowner along instead of making them feel cheated or cheap. Sending people to voicemail and asking them to reply via email only seems very shady/shaky - only to get no reply back or several days later get a reply. This does not make anyone feel good considering the huge investment/purchase to have a new home built. If I were buying a piece of furniture I would expect lag, but this is a home for families to live in and we should be treated with top notch customer service. The process is very time consuming and all parties involved need to have ALOT of patience during the build. Good luck to anyone looking to build a home with Centex. It will be built, it may take what feels like forever to be completed, and may have a punch list that still isn't fulfilled/completed after 30 days of closing, but its possible to make it a home. Very unhappy with the landscaping. The grass in both the front and back yard was and still very bad. Very disappointed.

Would definitely recommend Centex for family and friends

While I don't believe the house is going to fall down around us, the finishing touches were very poor. They were in a rush to get us closed. Paint on the floors and splattered on the cabinets. Problems with our plumbing. The trim around the roof is bent. Stickers left on windows, trash left in the yard with the seed and sod just put on top of it, dirt and mud left on the outside windows and sides. We also had a pipe leak into the walls one week after closing the repairs STILL have not be finished. Centex works with sub-contractors that don't care about your home and once you close, Centex doesn't either. ... More

I have no complaints about Centex as an agent. I would only recommend that they have a design center so it is easier to pick out your options within the home. A electronic design center that buyers can do on their free time to pick and choose options for their home. I am not a fan of Pulte Homes. We were promised a lot of things before we closed that NEVER happened or were fixed. After we closed our builder (Chaz) acted like we never bought a home from them. We can’t even get a friendly wave as he is standing out side of our new home and makes eye contact. There was no follow up or communication with the builder to fix what he promised us before closing or within the first 30 days of our home like he promised. We were contacted by customer support at our 30 day mark and had to ask for them to fix what the builder promised us would be fixed before our first 30 days in the home. So far they are helping us but we are waiting for things to be actually fixed as we hit our 60 day mark in the home. As a first time homebuyer this made my experience stressful and upsetting. In the end we realized that the builder was lying to us about what he was going to do for us to get us to just close on the home. If I had to build a home I wouldn’t want to have Pulte do it because of our experience. I’m the end we do love our home but we wish that our home was built with more attention to detail. I don't care about some of the petty rules the company made. I needed them to accommodate my schedule and not for me to accommodate theirs. This meeting all the time was not going to fit my schedule when email and texting would work. Don't state the obvious. I can read. They were way behind getting my home done and the excuse was that the shortage of what ever was the cause. Other houses started way after mine were being completed. Work should have been diverted to finishing my home as promised. Home quality sucks and things I mentioned were a problem were never reviewed and fixed. I was so desperate to get into my home that I just moved and fixed myself (I am 69 yo female). I was informed that it was not like my house cost a million dollars and imperfection was to be expected on some things. This was my million dollar home!! ... More

The experience was great all the people from the sales department were excellent and knowledgeable and Karl the construction manager was very responsive.
