I thought I was getting a great home but was disappointed when I could not install my winsow shades when I discovered the wind header was split in two and filled with foam which cannot support the screws. Builder has been notified and have done nothing to repair the issue.

I had a wonderful buying experience while leaving at the home I’ve had some issue that where quickly addressed in a timely manner unfortunately the floors seem sorta cheap and part of the shower head is coming off and the back door gets stuck it hard to open and close but other than that I’ve had a 4star experience

Not please with the project manager but everything else was good p.s need to change the type of toilet paper holders because they don't hold large rolls also need to make gutters standard.

The paint in the backyard is very bad, the siding , isn’t painted well the carpenters didn’t use the headless nails that go in. The nailheads are are all showing around the window sills they used to rough of boards around the windows that should have been sanded & puttied. There are pits in my new siding paint already coming off because it needed another coat of paint. Also around windows they weren’t to good at puttying they just slopped int on here and there. Also why in the world would you put a door on backward? It opens out, the hinges are on the outside of the door,not very safe. The wind catches the door some times when you go outback and takes you with it. Door should open to the inside not out. Also I thought this house was suppose to be for the disabled,? Inside yes but all doors have a good 4 inch drop coming in or going out. My son in law lives here also it is very dangerous to get his walker in or out of the house,because of those steps. I have reported these things to Kevin, and I think he’s trying to fix what can be fixed,as of yet nobody has came to repaint siding or repute hopefully we are on the list. The buying process with Centex was virtually painless, they walked me through every step of the way. The construction manager was awesome and returned my calls when requested to do so. My only suggestion is to pay attention to small details, I didn’t realize the lack of storage as there’s only one storage closet near the master and none for the secondary bedrooms. Also there could be more cabinets and better flooring. I understand the use and said durability of LVT flooring, but the glue doesn’t adhere well and a click and lock system or wood look tile would have been better suited for the home. Aside from these things I am pretty happy with my purchase although the home I purchased was nearly completed when I picked it and wasn’t aware that sod was not included in the backyard and due to the stage in building I was not allowed to add it. after I moved I addressed a detailed things needs to be fixed to a field management it's been a month now no response either by email or phone call too bad

We came around and did the blue tape portion of the walkthrough and I am not sure much has been corrected as there are cracks in the walls, the carpet is coming up, the master bath toilet has issues and so on. I am putting in a ticket today because I want everything fixed.

We closed although there were still what a job trying to get them to fix

Misrepresented information, was provided about a fitness center. Which is a strong criterial for me, purchasing a home. The landscaping grading is bumpy and rocky. I love my home, however, it would have helpful if I were provided with basic details, about cable, and wiring, in the unit. Also, no folder, paperwork, disc or hardcopy of the homeowners association regulation. And, most importantly, there is a serious ANT problem. There are more than 5 ant hills on the property, and it was documented and it was supposed to be taken care of, and to this day, nothing has change. I still have a ant problem. Zach was great, in (sales). The original female person, not so much. One question: I think the HVAC, was installed improperly, and the workmanship, doesn't look like the one I had in my home, prior to move into a Centex home. I have a open vent stemming from the ceiling that has an open end, and there are cracks in the ceiling. Documented, someone came by, weeks ago, nothing done to this day. ... More

Overall it was a good experience, except for the things that should have been repaired prior to doing the walk thru.

Too many details weren’t finished before the closing like downstairs bath vent, wall, cabinets, power in certain rooms, etx

I regret buying not learning more about the builder before buying the house. Regrettably, I was rushed into buying it and now regret not taking more time to decide. The workmanship of the house is awful, it was built very fast and it shows. I would have been better off going with a better builder and spending more money because now I’m spending more money to repair bad workmanship. Biggest regret of my life.

Make sure you getting a private home inspector. Triple check everything. Electrical outlets, door fitment, non level window sils and valances, paint, trim work ondition. Too much to mention. Rather disappointed for price we paid.

Not happy with the responses to issues that I have had since moving into my home

This is a great starter home but they do cheap out on materials. For instance, they use plastic nozzles and valves for the water line for fridge, washer/dryer, toilet shut off and under the sinks. So its more likely to wear and break easier. The workmanship on the baseboards and trims are questionable. Builder was very helpful in the beginning but also will just say things and not follow through. So that is frustrating.

The warranty callout for a badly installed vinyl floor took so long and after they eventually secured and got me waiting for a whole day, no one showed up or even called back. I had to put in another ticket. Not sure how they will respond on more serious issues if they took this long to work on this minor issue.

The steps to buy the new home was great. We had a amazing team help us get to the finish line… The workmanship in other hand has not been good. Everything from leaks, issues with home heating, doors not securing right, cracks in tiles, cracked cocking, and more. When you make a request for service they have just one person working them and to get things fixed seen not to be important and you are left waiting for calls or a email and even service not showing up for appointment. And to top it off you’re told “this is what you signed for at walk through” PLEASE FIX THE SERVICE REQUEST ISSUES. ... More

Overall the house is great. My only issue was been the quality on two parts of the house, the first and main one is the fence, its cleary visible they just rushed to put up a fence, its not aligned straight at all, its obvious they used the cheapest materials they got their hands on and to top it off the corner of my fence just pops open its easily one of the worst built fence I have seen and im not the only who thinks that because the neighbors have expressed the same. The second is the grass same with the fence just seemed to be rushed. Another issue I have had was to get any response time to resolve issues I have had at my home, I been there almost two months and I have yet to get anybody to fix the flooring and garage wall issues that I have reported since the moment we moved in, my wife has taken off 3 days because they only tell me they will go and they never do, I have called again and asked for a date that they can assure me they will come and get fixed and I get told they cannot give a certain date. Overall the home is great but they cut alot of corners that I didn't notice until I fully moved in. Some things I'm already have to call warranty on less than 30 days in my home.

House was super dirty and paint was in a lot of my carpet they didn’t even clean. My bath tube is turning pink with 3 week use. Had to claim warranty to get trim and Cabinet fix and I shouldn’t have to do this on my first month move in. I had to walk the house 3 time with Lily and still didn’t get anything fix I don’t know why she wast my time and now I still have to get warranty to come out to fix it.

I don't know if this is an ongoing issue with new constructions, but the quality of the work is mediocre, bordering on terrible. I will have a lot of issues with the warranty company.

The process of building our home was so smooth, if we ever had any request they would respond and act of them fast. they made sure we were happy with how our home was being built and they explained the whole process. They also completed it in the timeline they had told us. Really pleased with the whole process and Home.
