Once we got people from Centex that were higher up the chain our home the whole process improved. But overall it was not a very good experience. Example: the entire sewer system was left unattached to the main line. Had we not caught it w our home inspector it wouldve been left that way!!!!

Literally everything that could go wrong during this build went wrong. We are 6 weeks after closing and I still don't have sod on parts of my yard. I have stained floor tiles, lumps in the carpet upstairs, the wrong baseboards, the wrong countertops and wrong backsplash was installed. I know Covid had a part in the availability of products however I wish we did not close until all of these issues were corrected.

Too many issues after, make ready should be much more clean and neat. Lots of paint on flooring.

My wife and I had to micromanage much of our home build. There were numerous mistakes that had to be corrected, throughout the process and at the last minute as well. Our closing date was pushed twice. There were issues still getting corrected after closing. Not a quality build.

Drywall was, and is still, terrible, the finishing guy kept telling me it was done and it wasn't even close. They can't even finish it STILL. Embarrassed to live in it or show anyone else. Patched up the errors with caulk, every error. Paint missing on portions of the wall. Drywall tape still popping out. Drywall texture still missing. No one cares when I tell them to fix it. It's been over a month since I signed. They tried to put a light oak trim filler in the cabinets with dark cherry color and thought I wouldn't notice. Paint splatter and caulking on the floors, window glass, and everywhere it shouldn't be, not clean, keep leaving the door unlocked when they're "finished working" on it for the day. Worst. Through the building process all the team , Laura, Kenny and AJ did a great job I will highly recommend CENTEX as your choose to your new home deem come true

There are open areas in my roof line as I can see light from my attic asking my whole front entry walkway, when it is on. Very poor caulking job outside and especially above my tub. Along the floor as well they are not all clean lines and trim work has flaws. Very messy and ugly. Paint specs all over on my floor. Lumps under my carpeting, my garage door does not close all the way to the cement and the ground is not level with the garage door. Shotty concrete work under the brick by my garage. Random concrete in bricks that was slapped in after the fact and is a different color cement. Clumps of concrete on my sidewalk. Everything was rushed at the end to close before year end and that can be reflected in sub part quality. ... More

This is the 3rd new build I've bought over the years, it has been disappointing to see the many, many cosmetic touch ups it requires. That was not the case with my other new builds. I just make note of everything as we go along. With that being said, I enjoyed the professionalism and quick response of everyone in the home buying process. It is a great team. And I do love my house. It's the perfect fit for my family and I. I love the floor plan. Thank you, Centex!

The staff at Centex Santa Rosa Crossing were always helpful and knowledgeable . They were prompt in responding to any questions or needs we had during the build process and afterwards.

We built our home during a very difficult time with supply shortages, delays, a pandemic, etc.. When all was said and done, Centex stood by us, and helped us to obtain our home. This is not just a house. It is where we will make memories, celebrate life and its ups and downs, and I feel that our building manager (Jared) and Centex knows that, and it shows in their sincere actions.

The entire team at centex homes were awesome..they were very timely with all of my request. They made sure I had all of the information I needed. Everyone was extremely nice and respectful.
