The loan process and the information requested was way out of line. For example, the house was going to be completed, my wife was moving into the new home but I was going to stay with my son for 2 months until my job was resolved. The loan personal wanted me to get a letter from my son, stating I can stay with him for 2 months, rent free. REALLY.

Purchasing my first home seemed so relatively easy with the team that I had. No issues with that. My first month inside of the home I'm finding issues that I were not present during the final walk. Eliana from Pulte homes has been phenomenal though. She has been quick to get these issues fixed. But I'm finding others. The home was built fast and I guess it's settling in now that I am living in it. Some of the issues I can fix on my own but it goes to show the speed of the completed home.

The process itself was fine. I'm not as satisfied with the material used in the home.

We love our home. It is beautiful and the craftsmanship is good.

Sales experience with Ryan was great. Mortgage team was aggressive to the point of harassing and not competitive with offerings. Pulte/Centex contracts out the work to companies employing individuals that either lack craftmanship skills or have no pride in their work. ESPECIALLY the paver company, finish work, drywall work and the grading of property and the sod placement. The kitchen appliances are of horrible quality. Whirlpool Customer Service is horrible Site Manager Shawn and Warranty site contact Brittnay are quick to respond and genuinely seem to care.

We are pretty happy with our house, but it had several issues that needed to be fixed that shouldn’t have been missed. Once issue they attempted to fix, but didn’t. Had to wait almost a month for them to try and fix again. Something finishes are just not as good as they should be. Love the neighborhood, overall wouldn’t have done any different.

The over all purchase was easy and seamless. They stayed in contact the entire time. There were a few issues that were found and micheal the project manager did help me. But the backyard was left a mess with trash from the builders. The grass that was placed in the front yard is patchy because the landscapers brought dead grass. I watered as much as I was supposed to. And paid someone to come flatten it so it would actually grow. There was no effort out in with that grass. Everything else was pretty good. It’s a good home overall.

Overall it was a good experience. Wish I had more time for corrections and walk throughs. I still believe I would go through it all again because everyone that I have spoken to has always been willing to help.

It is good for budget, The finishing materials are not great and is very budget oriented. The TV output is only one and none available in upper floor. The heat water is coming very late. The Lawn was not watered well before handover.

Inspect your home way before you close, otherwise, I would buy from Centex again.

Home is good overall, but there are definitely points of contention that show it was put together in a hurry for a quick turn around. A number of doors have pretty substantial gaps from the trim which is quite frustrating, and any touchups during our walkthrough seemed to be rushed as well. Rather than properly sanding to touch up, it was just painted over and not very well. Many paint drips on trim throughout the house, paint on the carpet in some areas etc. Builder repaired most issues pointed out through walkthrough, but some were answered with "Yeah, I'm not sure there's much we can do about that" ... I bought the home in Centex. Staff is friendly but sometimes give false promises and ask for excuse. Home buying process is smooth but quality of the construction is not that great. I experience lot of wear and tear after my house closing which I didn’t expected. Quality was highly compromised.

Outside of the buying experience, which was amazing, and working with the builder, who was on site at the time everything else has been very poor quality. I have several issues or just the ongoing with no timelines and no consistent. Follow up. I’m hoping things improve, but I have already had to spend quite a bit of my own personal money which may not get reimbursed to get things working like my garage door like my washing machine like my security system on and on and on. And for the record, the siding and landscaping was done horribly to begin with, and it shows to this day, which means I will have to spend more money to get that corrected. And all I’m not too unhappy with my purchase. I’m grateful things could be better. I hope my input will be used to spare of the next homeowners the same headaches thank you. ... More

The process from initial was stressful, but at the end it was great.

We purchased a home that was already close to being finished so our experience is only on the back end. The staff as a whole are very good, friendly, and supportive. However the sub contractors they use to build their homes is poor; contractors they hire do not take pride in their work and it shows everywhere in the home. I understand it's a business so they try to find the cheapest contractor, but at some point there needs to be some venting for QA as the price we pay should reflect the quality of work which due to the people the hire to build the homes isn't there. Once again the staff is amazing, just the workers they hire is not good at all. Suggest buyers who plan to buy a home get one built from the ground up so they can monitor every single detail as the build is going up as buying a home halfway/at the finish line I wouldn't recommend. ... I have been in my home about a month and a half. The appliances came with it. Every time I use the dryer the breaker trips. I put in a service request and an electrical company called to tell me they can’t come til the 23rd of the month. So I am left with a new home with new appliances and I will have to got to the washeteria for the next to weeks. Totall UNACCEPTABLE, I am so upset and disappointed

The house is very nice and well priced. However, the quality of work is pretty poor. The concrete slab is uneven and there are lumps all over the down stairs floor. Large lumps, like you can see AND feel when you walk. Several of the baseboards are bowed in or out significantly enough to notice immediately, and all of the pre-wired fan switches are all not terminated correctly. One of the three-way switches had a hot leg on both ends and kept the wires in the ceiling live no matter the switch combination I tried. Fortunately I have electrical experience and didn't get shocked!

All new home buyers are encouraged to check on their new build, frequently, to ensure dates are met, promises are kept and things are on track to close as documented.

I was very pleased with overall home buying experience from sales to construction managers explaining everything in detail for the first time home buying experience. As we did the first walk through and now living in the house, there is a lot of spot where the finishing is not satisfactory overall but I will be filling work order soon to fix some of them. I would rate 3/5 for house itself and 4.5/5 for the buying experience.

Overall I had a positive experience in buying a home through Centex/Pulte. Our sales representative was very kind and helpful. We had a water intrusion event prior to closing and the team was very responsive and upfront with us. They also paid for all of the testing and remediation costs. The site manager Troy, was also extremely helpful and worked with us to make sure we were happy with our home. We have had some issues with our cabinets, lots of missed paint touch ups, poor caulking/sealing around baseboards and other cracks, and small cracks/lines in the drywall. We have also had some minor electrical issues, but those were easily repaired. Some of these are likely due to replacement after the water issue and probably not what would be normal in a regular build. That being said, given the price we paid it definitely felt like a lot of these issues should have been addressed. I would describe the quality overall as really good on the big stuff, but some corners were cut or the job was just done too quickly on the small things. Thankfully, we haven't run into anything that cant be fixed, and the warranty team, Marc, has been really great at getting things done. Probably the worst part in dealing with Centex has been their contractors using our water and putting trash on our property while building other homes in the neighborhood. I have had paint splashed on my exterior walls from their painters washing out paint with my spigot. However, that wouldn't be a concern if the homes near us were built already. Despite some of these negatives, I have already recommended a Centex home to a friend who is buying one and I would recommend their homes to others. The Centex/Pulte team has been super responsive with trying to address our issues and that has really gone a long way. ... More

There is a delay in resolving the issues and also the house was not completed at the time of closing

Make sure to check interior painted walls after we moved in we found several paint runs. Also check finish work in master shower by window
