My overall experience with Centex was great. We had to deal with some issue regarding some building codes violated, and we got the house 5 months later than expected, but the sales consultant(Amy) was taking care of us all the time and showed us more than a business relationship. Regarding the final product(house), we liked it, we are so happy with it. Michael was the guy in charge and he did an amazing job.

We enjoyed the purchase experience with Raeleen. Ben and Logan have been very responsive in getting the home ready and taking care of any issues that have come up. I can't understand why Centex only uses flat paint on the walls. The biggest cost in painting is the labor and the price difference between flat and satin, versus the wearability and appearance, is minimal. Truly baffling decision.

My Builder Julio was such a sweet heart. Any time I had a question he was quick to answer it, or at least always tried to find the answer if he didn’t know. He called every week with updates on the home and kept me informed about inspections. Julio takes a lot of pride in his work as well as his team. My home turned out beautifully with no issues after moving in. Thank you Julio!

Katie was very helpful when we got to pick things out. Reid was our go to guy every step of the way he kept us well informed weekly with pictures and updates since we were out of state. We have a list of minor things that need to be done but Reid has been scheduling the work to be done. We were disappointed in the settlement no one from the builders office came to meet us and go over the warranty or the HOA we felt it was a little impersonal.

The interior paint workmanship is very poor, basically half of the area is unevenly painted, and the rest are well done

I would get weekly updates from the builders which was great! Closer to closing we did a walk through and the guy was very nice and great at explaining our warranty. Definitely felt heard with any concerns!

We went into building our home knowing many people have different experiences. Overall we had less issues than others in our neighborhood. However, we are happy with our home and are waiting for a few things to be rectified but the home itself is great!

We are very happy with our new home. The quality and workmanship is wonderful. The only issues we had would be delays with supplies. These issues caused the moving delays by 6 months which caused us concerns as we were very anxious to move in.

The buying process from start to finish was a easy smooth process. All questions were answered in a timely manner and the house was completed on time.

Delayed but ok. The people are too busy.

The Quality is what you would demand of yourself if building your own home.

The overall experience was quick and seamless! Would definitely recommend family and friends to use this builder!

Buying experience was good and satisfying. During construction also experience was good. After we moved into our new home, we find that the shower floor is set approx 4-5 inches below the bathroom floor. This is a potential safety hazard because you have to step down 5 inches to enter shower cubicle. Also the shower floor slope towards the central drain makes standing in shower a bit unbalanced. Definitely a safety concern for seniors like us. Pulte/Centex should address this concern in our house and in newer homes they are building.

Carter and James, our field managers, were very helpful and available on-site. Out of the whole experience it is the connection from builder to customer that makes or breaks the whole experience. They also worked on the house themselves providing little extras that go a long way in making the home more useful and livable. Also, Patrick, our salesman, answered our questions in a timely manner. The builder's mortgage seller rep, Michael, also was very relatable and friendly. We took a star off because the windows used were cheap. There was some confusion on the options we purchased that required change order work. Also, some of the slab penetrations were off, causing substantial re-work. ... More

My wife and I were very pleased with the build process with Centex. They clearly outlined the process and stuck to that plan. Throughout we verified their work with an independent inspector and were pleased with the confirmation of their good craftsmanship, especially compared to other local builders. Despite delays with materials and labor, Centex did a great job of keeping us within 2-3 weeks of the original timeline. At our final walkthrough, there were a number of minor issues that were identified and we were given a 1-business-week timeline for them to be repaired. Almost 45 days post closing, these still have not been repaired, while some additional issues were caused by subcontractors that were repairing an item. Both our construction manager and our customer care manager have not committed to addressing these issues. We love our house and was surprised at the space it provided. What I didn’t like was the uneven lawn. Don’t think the ground was lacked really good and the sod was not laid very good. Drive corner broken and splattered cement on garage floor.

Good service, responsive but average quality of work and materials.
