I have been in the business of construction and seen a lot of builders come and go. I think the Centex for not being a very expensive home it is good quality and a good for the price. The company is good and reputable. I did not have any problems.

Lots of particle board used in the skeleton of the house... is that standard?

HOUSE FINISED IN TIME, THE SALES AND CONSTRCTION MEMBER OF STAFF ARE FRIENLY .

The builder Stephen was very friendly knowledgeable and helpful. Communication with the builder was perfect and easy. We love our house. The only inconvenience was the hardwood floors that need to be repair and some problems with the water heater. Overall Stephen was a great help! So far the best builder I’ve ever known.

I would say overall this seemed to be a good experience but certain issues definitely stand out. The home I suppose is a good build quality but there is warped drywall in certain areas and the concrete work in the garage and entryway , is terrible. The painters contacted too paint these homes did a laughable job at painting the main ceiling in the living and also upstairs. It had to be touched up multiple times. There is also paint on the stairway in one area. I would also add that for the premium price I personally would expect bbetter build quality,materials and workmanship

Experience was pretty streamlined and “painless”. Would recommend and biggest bang for your buck!

Cheap materials were used in this home and did close with some issues but builder did address all of them after closing. This helped improve the score from 3 to 4 stars

Their response time to address issues is not very good

Biggest issue is the walls, crown molding, and base boards aren't all straight. There's also sloppy finishing work like caulking and paint

Some features were standard for the build as opposed to being upgrades and/or options with other builders. For example our granite kitchen counter top. I also enjoyed the the limited options regarding interior color selections. It made it more simple and not as overwhelming.

Great experience building my first home!

Most of the experience was good. Since moving in, getting some warranty issues dealt with is taking a little longer then I would like.

The painter and cleaning crew are sub par

House is great. Looks nice and everything functioning properly as advertised.

All the process was good and the house still good looking compare with the blueprint.

The house is perfectly built but it was delayed by a month.

These are nice homes for first time home owners. The communication is lacking when fixing issues. I still have yet to have my dining room window replaced. Also there are noticeable blemishes i.e. not straight corners— you can tell they are slightly warped when they get closer to the floor. And some blue tape items have yet to be fixed and I closed on my home 2/14/20. It is now 3/30/20. But otherwise, the price is good and the no closing costs and USDA option is amazing for first time home buyers. Overall I would recommend the Windrow community to others looking into buying a home. It’s very quiet and pleasant. No crazy drivers or neighbors so far. And there’s a nice public park across the street. I do however wish there was going to be a pool built in the subdivision. Unfortunately it isn’t in the plan to do so. ... More

the contractor was great to work with . He was made sure all our concern was handle with care.
