Prior to deciding to start the process of this house, I was looking at a different home. After talking to the sells representative and seeing the different model home, prices and the huge backyard definitely won me over. Love the community!

The experience was overall good. I’m currently dealing with an A/C issue and have only been here two months. How am I already calling an electrician?

We love Centex! Our home is perfect and cozy, couldn't have asked for anything more!

Building process was good but when you have an issue the response is not there.

The builder seems very knowledgeable, however, isn’t the best at following up nor communicating. I’ve expressed this on NUMEROUS encounters, however, no change. This type of frustration will prevent me from recommending this builder to anyone else.

Sometimes the builder would lack communication. The builder didn't fix certain issues before we moved in and we had to get them to fix it after. They fixed the issues but then didn't repaint or even provide us with paint to match the fixed spot with the rest of the wall. This to me was fixing the issues 1/2 way. The value of the home for what we paid is exceptional.

After you are in you are on your own. Tried to get something repaired within the 30 days and was responded to after the 30 days

This builder is not responsive to issues post closing. Updates during build were not adequate.

The people! Everett and Chris were incredibly knowledgeable and helpful even though they inherited a problem. They explained so much to me and I never had a problem contacting them. Anytime I felt something needed attention they were on it. Thank you Everett and Chris!!

Very easy buying process, the field manager was fantastic and answered any questions/ concerns in a timely manner!

Everything looks perfect so far. Was constructed on time. Reasonable price. Good neighbourhood. Quiet.

Our salesperson and field manager were excellent. But the craftsmanship leaves a lot to be desired. Even after two walkthrus the contractors only accomplished approximately 60% of what was pointed out. The painters have no idea what a straight line looks like and the sheetrock crews use their fingers to smooth caulk.

Still waiting on my refrigerator and tile to be fixed as well as some paint spots they didn’t paint

Centex was exemplary when it came down to closing and predicting a date. They are all so professional. Josh G. was hands on when asked about minor issues.

The workmanship on my roof was horrible, leaving me with a lumpy, bumpy roof. I informed them immediately, but they waited until a few weeks before closing to send the roofing supervisor out. He refused to fix my roof and admitted the plywood probably got wet during construction. I had to hire a private inspector with my own money to document the damage. Finally they agreed to repair it, but it is still very noticeably bumpy, and now shingles have popped up. Also, my oven drawer is crooked, and that was noted before closing, but no one has come to fix it. The HOA company is still under Centex, and we are having lots of issues with their not doing their job. Our mail station has no place to park, and that is very hazardous as cars park on the road on the main road in, causing congestion AND violating the signs that say NO PARKING ON ROAD. I had a good Realtor Emma, with Centex and a good building supervisor, Kyle, but overall I am unhappy with my roof and over. I had to get a plumber out because the drains were clogged with building debris, but Centex handled that. It should never have happened,, but the workers don't seem to care during the building process.. There is construction on either side of me, and they get debris in my yard that I have to pick up nearly every day. This should not happen. ... More

I am a first time home buyer and Centex Homes was with me every step of the way. My construction manager answered all of my questions and addressed all of my concerns from start to finish and even after closing!

Great Buying experience from day 1. We are very satisfied with the Quality of our New Home. Great responsiveness and attention to detail. We will definitely recommend this buyer to our family and friends!

My wife and I felt part of the experience as there was constant communication with the sales reps, and project managers. Thank you Centex.

I don’t have any complaints about the process of having the home built but I do feel like we were treated like a dime a dozen with the closing process and when we listed some issues at closing that needed to be taken care of, they weren’t. We said that dirt needed to be brought in to fill holes in the fence, never happened. We had to buy our own dirt. We listed dead grass and were told they’d come in and replace them, never happened. We’ve had to buy fertilizer and hope that saved some of the dead grass. It’s just sad that the customer service doesn’t really stick once you’ve signed the paperwork. Blake(construction) explained everything to us and went out of his way to help us prior to and after the purchase. Kayla (sales) was equally fantastic and the reason we're in our dream home today!
