Good to deal with and prompt communication

s that have risen up in my first months of moving my new home have been great. If there was any kind of problem they were fixed in better then a timely fashion. In fact one night I couldn't get my garage to function correctly and Patrick saw me trying to remedy the problem, Stopped to say he say a few other doors that had the same issue. Socket in hand it was fixed in no time at all. Watching the garage door contractor came in handy.......BTW It was north of 7PM. All is good on my end. As long as you keep good employees it will continue I love it here

Every thing looks good and beautiful

We decided to buy new rather than resale and are very pleased with our new Centex home. There have been a few small issues (as there always are) that have been addressed but nothing major. The buying process was easy and the house is of a great quality. We couldn't be happier with our decision!

My buying experience was excellent, Not impressed with the quality of building materials, appears to be a rush job in so many areas from pouring of cement to inside walls, a little touch on walls it smudges,outside light above garage continues to be loose have shown it to the young lady 2X,huge hunks of rocks were all over yard. Overall just a rush job to get these homes on the market.

Professional staff and best quality. The loan process was smooth and easy. Highly recommended!

Super rushed thru the closing. Numerous issues to be addressed. Virtually no communication even though I was promised to be kept updated. 2 months after closing & still issues unaddressed that were to be fixed/etc before or very shortly after closing. Even was given a certificate of occupancy despite the heat not working. Too many houses, too few ppl for the workload, too focused on only money, and the laborers' work is neither inspected nor up to par for new construction in that price range.

This my third occasion having a new home built and this is my best experience since 1989. All discrepancies, if any, have been attend to. The builder seems to be quite thorough.

Some things like having to rework work that was already completed made the experience sour. Some issues are still on a waitlist to be completed.

Allica was a great help, being we were moving from a nother state Repairs upon walk through were noted by both my son & us. They were to be fixed prior to closing. We did not walk through again. After closing we went to the house and repairs were not done. Spoke with GC about repairs and higher ups by text messages. It has been 2 month with dry little done

This had to be one of the worst experiences I have gone through. I can see the seams and tape of almost all the drywall on the walls and ceilings, very amateur and not quality. I wouldn’t expect this from a “quality home builder”. Our project manager was horrible, made lists for him to correct and nothing got done. Now 4 weeks after closing I’m having to follow up weekly with no response. Some issues were the grass being very wavy and bumpy like the landscaping company never rolled it, patches where they just didn’t sod cause they ran out and didn’t come back, kitchen cabinets cracked and instead of bringing molding to the wall they just decided to caulk the gaps, paint on the carpet that I guess you just have to deal with, you can see where paint was rolled, sprayed, brushed, and the interior of the house was painted with three different colors, outside stone was just put up with no grout to where you can see the metal mesh behind it, damaged posts that were replaced, damaged siding not replaced, incorrect color siding put up originally, and the list goes on. Chaz was very helpful in our home building process!!

Who doesn’t love buying a new home, build from the ground up. Seems that the process was more stressful than I could imagine, even with a buyer agent involved. I love the home, even with some decorative flaws. The sales team members did make me feel great about my purchases, however, I wish I would have consider additional add one for better living. If anyone can afford it, get ad much done as possible. The building proved to need more checking and questioning. The communication could have been better, as I was met with some condescending responses. I’m a new home owner and I should not have gone through some of these uncertainties get me stress. Great idea to have an outside inspector, which I did, but you only know what you know before the 30 days expires. ... More

After deposit was paid it was impossible to have someone call you back. They don’t build as specified on website. Were not up front about all the charges you have to pay. Can’t get them to come fix problems Major electrical problem that has to be addressed.

Terrible communication, they don’t follow thru on commitments, they disappear for long periods of time and don’t respond, the quality isn’t great and most disappointing is that you don’t even get what you expected/paid for when they substitute big items for different colors without telling you. Long list of gripes. Sales team super friendly for what it’s worth.

Katie was very helpful when we got to pick things out. Reid was our go to guy every step of the way he kept us well informed weekly with pictures and updates since we were out of state. We have a list of minor things that need to be done but Reid has been scheduling the work to be done. We were disappointed in the settlement no one from the builders office came to meet us and go over the warranty or the HOA we felt it was a little impersonal.

The quality of craftmanship in our brand new house is absolutely horrible. The paint and drywall looks like an eight year old did it. Every room has a punch list of touch ups and fixes that my wife and I are still going through and fixing. Centex and Pulte obviously do not care in the least bit in the quality of contractors they hire throughout the building process. My biggest worry is the quality and sustainability of everything you can't see. Structural integrity, wiring, A/C.....etc. Bottom line, a lot of money for a horrible experience and even worse quality.

Super easy process of building/buying new home

Alicia is PHENOMINAL to work with in the sales dept, she is so sweet and very responsive all the way through the process; even after closing she responds. She gets a 10/10 in my book. Chaz in the building dept stopped communicating after closing, I thought that was very odd. After all people go though during several months long in the building process and awaiting closing - one would think you would at least pass the homeowner along instead of making them feel cheated or cheap. Sending people to voicemail and asking them to reply via email only seems very shady/shaky - only to get no reply back or several days later get a reply. This does not make anyone feel good considering the huge investment/purchase to have a new home built. If I were buying a piece of furniture I would expect lag, but this is a home for families to live in and we should be treated with top notch customer service. The process is very time consuming and all parties involved need to have ALOT of patience during the build. Good luck to anyone looking to build a home with Centex. It will be built, it may take what feels like forever to be completed, and may have a punch list that still isn't fulfilled/completed after 30 days of closing, but its possible to make it a home. I have no complaints about Centex as an agent. I would only recommend that they have a design center so it is easier to pick out your options within the home. A electronic design center that buyers can do on their free time to pick and choose options for their home. I am not a fan of Pulte Homes. We were promised a lot of things before we closed that NEVER happened or were fixed. After we closed our builder (Chaz) acted like we never bought a home from them. We can’t even get a friendly wave as he is standing out side of our new home and makes eye contact. There was no follow up or communication with the builder to fix what he promised us before closing or within the first 30 days of our home like he promised. We were contacted by customer support at our 30 day mark and had to ask for them to fix what the builder promised us would be fixed before our first 30 days in the home. So far they are helping us but we are waiting for things to be actually fixed as we hit our 60 day mark in the home. As a first time homebuyer this made my experience stressful and upsetting. In the end we realized that the builder was lying to us about what he was going to do for us to get us to just close on the home. If I had to build a home I wouldn’t want to have Pulte do it because of our experience. I’m the end we do love our home but we wish that our home was built with more attention to detail. This is all not to mention that we were 4 days late closing due to failing to receive a CO. ... More

Prior to closing everyone was quick in responding to emails and phone calls. Once we closed it became hard to contact builder. Thanks to our buyers realtor we had answers to questions and issues. We are still waiting for all issues listed prior to closing to be resolved. Buyers should consult a buyers realtor to help in looking for issues prior to closing. Several items that were observed after closing cannot to corrected. Buyers should go over their build carefully prior to closing.

If you get the opportunity to work with Porter you won't be disappointed !! Nice floor plans and upgrades. A couple of upgrades I wish were available - hardwood in the upstairs and an upgrade on the kitchen appliances.

Very poor communication, lack of attention to details. Very poor workmanship and care for work.
