Overall experience was great. Home needs minor touch ups but overall amazing great product for value/price

I would like to say please be mindful of the salesman that is assisting you. Not all are truthful. I love my home but there are little things about the home such as some of the doors we can not put down decorative rugs due to the doors are too low to the ground in order to open the doors with the rug, we have to move the rug every time which is such a inconvenience. Some doors don’t latch meaning the lock on the door doesn’t matter since it doesn’t fully close. The best thing I would say about our home is that it stays cool in doors which is a plus for hot days. When we first moved in the a/c wasn’t working properly and this is a NEW HOME which was a shocker. A/c was fixed when we put an order in now the a/c is working properly. We had to get the plug fixed where our refrigerator was due to the plug in on the wall was bad the plug kept causing our refrigerator to unplug, but we put in an order to have the plug in looked at and now it’s working properly. Other than those things our home is nice so happy to be a first time buyer my family and I are so blessed. Thank you Centex for helping my family and I buy our new home. :) ... More

Overall the experience was ok. I’m still having issues with the grass that was laid. Many parts are just mud and barely any grass. I’ve hired a company to come treat the grass, but with grass missing in some parts, there’s only so much they can do.

Being organized and flexible with the Centex builder and loan team helps facilitate the process.

Keren (sales manager ) is so good at proving the updates and follow ups Anu - loan office manager , I was tired with submittting several documents , Ani is so kind and helpful in documentation process , she explained why the documents are necessary for processing Ali - builder , happpy to work with her again , she is friendly and pointed several cosmetics while closure which I can’t see , also she helped in fixing few minor thing as well . Great to work with above ladies Note : Centex homes quality may be needs to improve mainly the doors across all over the house

We had a great experience building with Centex. We love our home. There have certainly been things that need to be fixed, some details could have been completed better but the team is responsive and comes to fix them when necessary.

My Builder Julio was such a sweet heart. Any time I had a question he was quick to answer it, or at least always tried to find the answer if he didn’t know. He called every week with updates on the home and kept me informed about inspections. Julio takes a lot of pride in his work as well as his team. My home turned out beautifully with no issues after moving in. Thank you Julio!

The Quality is what you would demand of yourself if building your own home.

The houses have very good quality, the price is in line with what one expects to pay for a house that we call HOME, and the sector is quiet and safe, in addition to being a beautiful place to live. It was a really good experience

Very good construction progress update. Nice staff who tried to make sure that we are statisfied with construction and till the closing of the house.

Jesse was our sales person and he was the one who showed us the options we had for our budget. He was knowledgeable and patient throughout the whole process. He helped me find the perfect floor plan for us. Our builders Miguel and Luis were so nice and informative in the next steps for our new home. They would always give me weekly updates and any issues they encounter. The only thing i hated of the construction process was the time they took to complete my home. Initially they told me six months but ended up taking eight months. I was stuck in a month to month lease at my apartments for three months. But unfortunately due to Covid builders are fighting for materials and waiting eight months is the new normal timeline. ... More

The builders did a great job. I have only been here for a month but have found no issues at all. I really appreciate the builder's supervisor, A.J. she was amazing. She was always available when I had questions, she was very thorough when explaining my house during my walk through.

Every single person I worked with or even just spoke to were very responsive to my questions. This is a great team to work with if buying a home. Overall, it was a very good experience. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was because my appraisal came in quite a bit under the asking price and I was told I would have to make up the difference. I understand building materials have really gone up recently, but how can you expect someone to pay more than the actual value with a take it or leave it attitude? The home is what the price

Like the home. Although my plants in the front are very dead from the snow fall. I wasn't moved in by that time so those plants should be replaced.

The thing I liked about this builder included the fact that the Hot water heater would be in the garage and the yard would include a sprinkler system.

Builder is great and you get a great value for the price! Have several options to meet your needs.

Generally speaking, the building process was very quick. Communication from the builder was usually good. The main issues we encountered was that the builder would provide a date of when XYZ would be installed to the home but then it rarely happened according to their timeline. Of course exterior items are weather permitting which we understood, but often times it was interior items and the weather had been fine. The builder that was over our home often gave what we considered a "non answer" or the run around when we asked if specific items in our home could be tweaked (i.e. very slight change in location of light fixture that ultimately was never actually done). We visited multiple homes under construction that were our same model that we chose to build and were familiar with what to expect. We noticed some homes included electrical outlets in the master closet but during the build of our home there was not one. When asked about this, our building manager explained that the workers don't always work the exact same way and utilize skills carried with them from various other home builders. While we decided not to argue about the installation of something as simple as an electrical outlet, we did not find this reasoning to be satisfactory. Every home should be built the exact same way. Upon moving into our home, we noticed LOTS of trash scattered in our backyard that which included sharp blades and nails everywhere. We have dogs and before we were able to allow them to use the yard we had to spend a good amount of time to clean up all the debris which we were not at all happy about. A home buyer who just spent several hundred thousand dollars should never have to do that. We picked up 3 full grocery sacks worth of metal and debris, some of which was simply covered up by a layer of sod. This is dangerous! What if other homes with children experienced this and were injured? We felt this was entirely lazy and inconsiderate of the construction crew and the builder for not ensuring this was properly taken care of. Otherwise, we were happy with the sales of the home, the majority of the building process was smooth and enjoyable and of course we love our new home. Now... we just have to submit a claim for our non-working disposal (we have been here 1 month and we have hardly used it... YIKES). ... More

I came for my final walkthrough and there were a number of obvious things that should have been addressed if someone would have taken the time to just look. I feel the house should have been show ready at our final walkthrough and it was not.

Everyone was very helpful and polite throughout the whole process, as with any construction job there were a few hiccups but they got it taken care of in a timely manner. The quality of the materials and finishing touches were lacking a little, but we did get an EXCELLENT price. Overall we are satisfied with the outcome.

Just make sure you have your finances and credit together before you start the process. You have to be really patient because it's a long and stressful process. But at then end, you will be very pleased. The seller and contractor were great! Thanks for everything!
