The buying process was great, from the loan processing stage to closing, I got enough support and information. The construction was fast and they delivered in a timely manner, except for a little hitch after closing which they are working on fixing. Overall, it was awesome with Centex homes.

Great process, terrific results, good overall experience

Still waiting for numerous repairs that were identified prior to closing (May, 2022). I’m praying that the service improves.

Our home was exactly what we wanted and we’re so happy we had our house built by Centex. Building Manager Alex is the BEST EVER!!!

Our builder was always there for us and ready to help

Sales, mortgage, title & warranty personnel were/are awesome. Home construction not so good. Blue tape walk thru issues were not addressed before closing (flooring, dry wall, painting throughout house, slab under AC unit not level). During final walk thru (30 min b4 closing) I noticed roof. Issues were not fixed They were fixed 10 minutes before closing. After closing, i did not experience that new home excitement. i walked into a home w/issues & new damage to masterbath that happened after my final walk thru.. Been in the house a month & finding more issues like a crack in the bathtub. If you choose to have a Centex home built, I recommend that you thoroughly check the home b4 closing. Our Construction Manager Juan was great! He gave us updates with pictures at least once a week. He always answered text messages quick.

Perfect fast exciting! The builder was communicating with us sending us photos explaining to us everything!!! Love how fast and on time everything happened!!! Thank you to the whole team and we are so happy to enjoy an amazing new home!!!

A nice and helpful experience

So many things could have been handled better but we're tired of talking about it now.

The entire experience was great, especially Chris, our build superintendent. He went above and beyond to insure we had everything we needed.

I understand that every experience is different, but we bought our first house with Centex homes and we couldn’t feel better about the end result! Even after we signed and moved in , we were able to get in touch with the builder, which shows how much they care!

The worst builder in Texas to deal with. Low quality and poor workmanship.

We had a great experience, especially with all staff involved. Brian was great!

it's less than i expected

I am already moved in Kingfield community eight months ago and I love centex house very much they built the house good quality and good price that why I told my wife got another one and the builder very friendly they help me when I need help

Wife and I stopped by to look at new developments in our area. Was not pressured into buying right off the bat, and we appreciated this. While walking through a few new builds was approached by a few of the construction managers, I asked them a few questions about their building process, and with that they were very quick to answer all my questions. They were very happy to assist me with my VA loan, where others prior would basically tell me they would rather not deal with its hassle. Since moving in, what few little bumps we've had were fixed nearly same day or a manager was able to stop by to look at the issue. I am pleased with services I received from the office personnel

I liked the constant communication I received from Bryan the superintendent on this job. He replied quick to all my questions, and assured me he would do his best to take care of me

It’s been two months after closing and issues are still being discovered in addition to NOT being initially completed. It’s the little things the workers didn’t take pride in; baseboards not sealed correctly, non active bathroom bent, AC vent installed incorrectly (facing the window which creates moisture), installing the address numbers directly under the light where no one can see them, not thoroughly cleaning the house before I’ve taken possession, etc. Once things were supposed to be completed, I’ve asked for photos (as the home owner) but was told to get them from someone else. POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. The only thing I should’ve needed from two months ago when I initially closed should be the stainless steel appliances which are on back order. Everything else should have been fixed and it wasn’t. I’ve told the site manager numerous times, emailed and texted the issues with the home. No solution has been granted. The last straw and what prompted this survey is when there was a leak in a wall due to a nail in a tube. This caused three levels in the pantry to be ripped out while waiting for the wood to dry before re-patching. I’ve been patient with this entire process but enough is enough. I can no longer be nice about this. The process has been POOR and not up to standards at all. I’m supposed to be excited about a new home purchase but it’s the complete opposite. This has the potential to be a beautiful home but based on the drama I’ve had/am having to deal with, it’s really ruining my experience. Lastly, things are still getting fixed, interior and exterior. Lights were left on, water was ran and additional power has been used. As a professional company who executes customer service, I should be compensated for all of the power/water used AFTER closing that contractors had to use. I should not have to pay for something I didn’t use and more so, things should have been done prior to my closing date. ... More

Amazing experience from start to finish

The application process was weird, it was on a first come first served basis on a established release date and time by the builder, whoever responded to the email first got to but the house. No upgrades or design changes (ex: cabinets, floors/tile, etc) were allowed. House didn't come with backyard sod or gutters. Putting all this aside,the Centex team was great, responsive and on top of their business, they made the process smooth and kept constant communication with us.
