Centex has not been a good experience. Everyone was warm and welcoming in the beginning, but they are not to be trusted. They force you to close before everything is correct and they tell you it’ll be no problem to get it fixed. Once you reach out, it’s hard for them to fix it. They cut corners and try to make you feel like you’re stupid or wrong for asking them to fix it. If I’m paying this much for a house, I would like it to be done correctly. Maybe they were rushing or maybe the contractors weren’t being supervised properly by the construction managers. I’m not the only one who’s had bad experiences. I really enjoyed working with my builder! He was super helpful throughout the whole process! However, I did not enjoy the Pulte mortgage experience. They did not keep me updated with all the information.

They overall finish quality was rushed and detail work was not so great. For the price these house are being sold they are not worth it. I regret making the decision to make this my families first house and if i could leave i would. I am not happy in this house and by what the website reviews show nobody else who purchased one of these over priced fast rushed crappy detail work is happy. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE PEOPLE!!!

My experience was overall good, I felt like my needs as far as construction and loan process was beyond amazing! Shout out to Marcelo the field manager he was very detail and at first the home was not to my liking but he managed to get mostly everything done. I would like to point out the sales consultant Michelle is the reason I can't give 5 stars due to her being rude to my Realtor and my family. She called me a lair on several occasions on our previous conversations we had even when I had text messages from her to prove what she said. She didn't greet me and the door instead she stayed on the phone and completely ignored me. My family came across Centex in our home search and found that the Lincoln floor plan would perfectly fit out needs. As first-time homebuyers, the agent walked us through the process of the purchase agreement and any necessary change orders. She worked well with our realtor which was important to us because we were out of state during this process. My lending agent was pleased with the responsiveness of Pulte's title company as well for a smooth closing process. Centex's field manager, Robert, and his team did a great job with the house's quality. My family and I were very impressed when we arrived for the walkthrough. Centex builders ensure homes are well built and affordable. All in all I would say I got great value for money paid considering its been a seller's market for a while now.

Keep the home price reasonable.

Overall buying experience is definitely great, no other builder in Katy build so fast and competitive as centex home, I am very happy, I did make the right decision to buy this house otherwise , I could never afford one. Thank you centex home, appreciate your service.

The builder team provided very good details information of the features of the property. Also, they responded in a timely fashion. The builder finished the property according to the date scheduled.

Getting in contact with the builder was always an issue. Updates were hardly ever sent and closing kept getting delayed

The overall experience was good, but the issue was with the sales portion. My salesperson was not helpful in guiding me through all available options, leading to a number of last minute adjustments and disappointments from previously promised "upgrades." Other than that, the construction manager was fantastic and helped me understand the building process a lot, especially for me as a first time homebuyer. Be sure to read the fine print in the contract and don't take anyone's word for it.

The sales experience was great. The craftsmanship of the home and turn around time to fix things are horrible. I moved in to my new home in September and it is now November. With in this time period I have had electrical and plumbing issues. Cracked kitchen cabinets that still are not fixed and most recently my garage collapsed and almost smashed my wife’s car as she was casually leaving the house.

Over all we had a good experience. At the beginning it was kind of crazy with a lot of chances in their sales office and given the housing market and waitlist everywhere for new homes. We where able to get this home but that came with a price and it wasn’t mortgage. The Builder picked everything out with no choice, so it just turn into a Ready To Move Home we watched being built. Still we are thankfully some things worked in our favor. Even though it took away the experience of building our first home. We are happy as first time homebuyers.

They have Great customer service. Working with Centex as first time home buyers was incredible. The entire team was such a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend them.

My building manager was great during the building process. He kept me informed throught, and helped make this a great first time home buying experience. In addition, my sales consultant was very friendly and helpful.

As a first time home buyer, I am feeling very accomplished with Centex. My experience was very smooth and they are very approachable and responsible.
