Centex continues to improve the community even after you finalize your purchase. It shows that they really care about the homes and the long-term experience for the home owners.

My new home is beautiful and I'm so very excited to live in it. I've had a few issues pop up but the warranty customer service has been too notch so far. Highly recommended!

I purchased the Hewitt plan in one of the new subdivisions so had to wait for the building to start and once it started it was on. I was over almost everyday and was Impressed with the work site it was busy during work hours and clean like there was no work going on in the evenings. The workmanship and materials are great along with the price of the home, I never thought that I would purchase a Centex home but I did and I love my home. Working with Centex has been the best home buying experience I have had from beginning to the end.

Great experience. Our construction manager was Austin. He was very courteous and willing to help with any questions or concerns. Austin made the building experience very Easy and painless.

I was very pleased that I was checked in from the contractors on site to make sure everything after moving in was going well. The sellers were nice when asked questions regarding closing dates.

Professionalism Extraordinaire

I love my new home and was so impressed with my builder Everett! He went above and beyond my expectations when making sure that I was happy with my home!

Some cheap parts. Kitchen sink is equivalent to trailer house sink. Not enough closet space. Option of double rods in closet would be nice with a 9 ft. ceiling

Overall we are very pleased with the final out come of our home. We were provided biweekly updates of where they were in the build process. They made sure we had all the information we needed as first time home owners. They even checked on us after closing to see if there was anything we needed. I would definitely recommend Centex to anyone. We are loving our house and neighborhood.

It was fun yet stressful. Our building manager was AMAZING. He had high expectations and held his workers to them through out the process. I do think some changes would help, as far as the tubs and stuff being in the home were full of construction materials and stuff, so I've noticed scratches on them and that's not something I noticed through a walk through.

Our home was part of the builder’s inventory so they needed to sell quickly. They worked with us and our realtor every step of the way. The process was easy and the home was everything we were hoping for. And on final walk through, I was very impressed with the knowledge the representative had about everything in the house. He walked us through how every appliance works, all flooring/siding/etc details and how to care for them, sprinkler system...EVERYTHING. We moved in knowing how our house. The only things I would say against the home are 1-the air conditioner drain pipe was constructed in such a way that the water spilled over and ended up leaking through to the bottom floor. However, the customer care team was quick to send out a repair man and fix the problem. And 2-the paint used on the walls throughout the home seems to pick up every scuff and mark possible. Being a flat paint, it does not hold up well with moving furniture in or with children in general. We will definitely need to repaint everything with a tougher finish. My home is beautiful. There were just two things that were supposed to be taken care of that weren't. Hopefully those two things will still be able to be fixed,as promised. Other than that, my home is just perfect.

A dire warning to anyone: DO NOT use Pulte Mortgage, you will never run into a bigger nightmare. Please Google "Pulte Mortgage Reviews" and decide for yourself. That probably disqualifies my review from being posted but I'm just being honest. But the homes are a great value. Very few issues came up throughout the entire process and they addressed them promptly. We love our new home and the community.

Not happy with response time with a water leak. Going to take 7 days to get a repair person to house meanwhile money/water going down sewer.

I believe other home buyers would be pleased with this process, and purchase.

I had no issues having access to the home while it was being build. Any issues were address promptly. They did their best when we had a conflict with the closing date and getting the walkthrough timely.

The best ever, really love it

The community is awesome but I’m already having nasty cracking and water damage in the bathroom due to improper sealing. The wall is literally caving in and I’ve been here only one month. Whoever finished my master bathroom was really lazy

The buying process with Centex was virtually painless, they walked me through every step of the way. The construction manager was awesome and returned my calls when requested to do so. My only suggestion is to pay attention to small details, I didn’t realize the lack of storage as there’s only one storage closet near the master and none for the secondary bedrooms. Also there could be more cabinets and better flooring. I understand the use and said durability of LVT flooring, but the glue doesn’t adhere well and a click and lock system or wood look tile would have been better suited for the home. Aside from these things I am pretty happy with my purchase although the home I purchased was nearly completed when I picked it and wasn’t aware that sod was not included in the backyard and due to the stage in building I was not allowed to add it. The application process was weird, it was on a first come first served basis on a established release date and time by the builder, whoever responded to the email first got to but the house. No upgrades or design changes (ex: cabinets, floors/tile, etc) were allowed. House didn't come with backyard sod or gutters. Putting all this aside,the Centex team was great, responsive and on top of their business, they made the process smooth and kept constant communication with us.

Overall our experience with Centex was really smooth and effortless but I think it had a lot to do with our build manager, Kolby. We haven’t had any problems since but others haven’t been so fortunate. Through the build process some of my neighbors and friends really had some problems that they had to jump through hoops to get fixed or the warranty department has been a nightmare to work with. Like I mentioned before we haven’t had any problems yet and hopefully don’t but hopefully they can step up and do better all around for the community.

The whole purchase process was acceptable, the bad thing was the communication from the field manager, he did not report that the house would change the position of the garage from left to right.

Being in the home building industry years back, I know what to look for in the craftsmanship in a new home and the contractors being used on these homes are not skilled in their trade, at least in my case, they weren't. Overall the home buying experience was easy and everyone was very transparent and understanding.
