The sales group is great at there job and make you feel welcome as soon as you walk through the door. But I dislike how they operate when it comes to your home. There is a very limited option to customize your home. Once they pour the concrete they won’t allow you to change not one thing. As well comparing our house to the others in the neighborhood we over paid for our house. The same house with close enough square footage to ours cost less than ours. Those houses are fully loaded with grass in the back and sprinklers and gutters. Ours didn’t come with non of that and cost about 30,000 more. If I was to go back I would do better research on how much the houses in our neighborhood are going for. As well I would have a realtor next time to catch the slid bull the sales people will try to slide by you. We could have gotten a better deal than what we was offered. When you buy a brand new home, you will expect everything will be nice and neat. However, it wasn't our case. After closing, when we went to our new home, we found out that the kitchen wall was leaking, and to fix the issue, they had to cut off our brand new home. While they were fixing the wall, they destroyed our grass, now there is no grass but full of muds. Hollows on the ground, broken door, broken garage door, broken fence, broken shower door, uneven ground, uneven window frames, and much more. How hard is it to inspect the house top to bottom after finishing? I definitely do not trust Centax and pulte's quality of work, I am more than positive that there are problems in this house to be found by me eventually. I can give 3 starts at least, because the warranty team ( Corey Yates, Joshua, and Jennifer ) is good at fixing the issues also good at communicating. If I knew that this company is this bad at attention to detail and lack of quality, Centex and Pulte wouldn't be my list. ... More

Wish they would have installed cable/Ethernet outlets in all the rooms.

So many things could have been handled better but we're tired of talking about it now.

Although constant follow up was put to this, Centex delivers on its promises

My upstairs is warm in the winter with the heat running but my downstairs is cold. They sent a tech out from Houk A/C and he wasn’t very helpful at all. it’s very uncomfortable

Home buying experience was okay, would have liked more communication and the process to be less rushed.

While I can't say I enjoyed my experience with Pulte Mortgage, Isabella was invaluable throughout the process and Eddie really worked hard to huild us the best poasible home he could. We r forever greatful to them.

The only 2 people that were helpful and did above and beyond for me. They were amazing they were prompt and if they didn’t have the answer they sure found the answer.

Beginning process was smooth and painless. However as our home progressed things became more difficult. Sales person was giving us information without knowing the whole situation. We were kept up to date with timelines of what was happening when, but then those timelines were never met, and at one point were not completed 2+ weeks after we were told they would be done. Excuses such as contractors and deliveries no-showing was given often. The end was VERY hectic due to a winter storm being added into the mix. That being said, while they used the storm as an excuse, the main point was that they were 2-3 weeks behind before that storm hit. We had to fight every day to close in a timely manner so that we weren’t between homes due to our lease ending and the home not being ready, and it actually got bad enough that our sales person was removed from our case and the area sales manager stepped in to complete our sale. Fencing was not completed in time so survey could not be completed on time either. They even had to take appliances out of a home that was not completed or ready for closing to put them into our home in order to get the certificate of occupancy. Final inspections were not completed until the morning of closing, putting us at risk of not being able to close if something did not pass. The builder also promised that brush/yard debris would be cleaned up after closing (this was another item delayed due to contractor/storm situation). We have been in the home for 6 weeks now and this STILL has not been completed. I have attempted to contact both the construction manager and Centex customer service and my emails requesting this be competed are being ignored. ... More

seems like an average budget home. fence will need to be replaced and painting done. in 3 years I will need to make some financial investment to upgrade the limited quality of materials used.

Overall quality is slightly better than average. Highly disappointed in the cabinets in the kitchen. You can’t place anything of any weight significance on the upper shelves without the shelf bowing. I’ve had to place my own braces under these to compensate.

This is the first month the property has been in use , and already the lights ion the front room and in front of the house have failed to come on. They came to fix it pronto but its a new home , should the hole front of the house loose power, and the breaker never tripped. Scary !!!

My overall experience in the beginning was great! But, as I moved into the home I began noticing a lot of things that were wrong. I was in communication with the Field Manager at first but I guess he became overwhelmed with my many concerns about things not being up to par as they were presented upon closing and stopped answering my calls and responding to text messages. I still have unresolved repairs/issues from inside and outside.

Our site manager was really great in explaining everything to us during the build. We really appreciate his hard work, however now that we have moved in we have noticed multiple issues that show the laziness of the builders cutting corners to get the house built. Needless to say, we will be calling several work orders.

Built a great home very quickly (too quickly) Project manager was great and very responsive up until closing date. After moving in, we noticed a lot of things Un-finished. This is my first home and expected the closeout to be close to perfect, this however was not the case. Un/finished home and we now a month later have to go through warranty to get our problems fixed.

I have no regrets moving into a Centex house! I absolutely love my house. And I would buy from Centex again and would/have recommended them. However since I have been living in the home for the last 3 weeks, I have been seeing little things with the building materials. They are minor fixes, not worth trying to contact the builder, but I know what to look for now if I were to buy another house from Centex. The one thing I didn't like is toward the end, nearing my closing......I could tell things were rushed. The driveway has cement droppings over the cured cement and it wasn't corrected. Some cement was slung onto the stone part of my house on the outside and it wasn't cleaned off and now it's hard. It's like things like that I can tell they rushed and things were done sloppily. But overall, I have a beautiful house in a very nice community! The only reason I didn't give a 4 rating is due to the Sales office for poor customer service. Builder did not plan out street well, and built everything except lot next to me. Now dealing with contractors who work past dark 10 pm, through nails and roofing materials on my property and refuse to clean up. Also when I was sold house the house model was full brick. Now realizing mine is only 25%, so discouraged that this would happen, without agent indicating this. Also homes for sale are not cared for yards not mowed for weeks, and trash from contractors every where. Contractors frequently blocked driveway even though plenty of other places to park on street without residents. Builder is aware of issues but nothing has changed. ... More

Four key areas to review: 1) The sales experience was good, the sales guy was knowleadgeable and fair. 2) The mortgage approval was smooth, no issues, super fast. 3) The construction of the house was a big issue. I hired an inspector to do an inspection and it showed several issues that the construction manager did not want to accept. After a few days of stress and after postponing the closing day, the inspector went back and demonstrated that he was right. The Construction Manager then needed to act and resolve the issues in question. This could have been avoided, it created a lot of stress. As for the title company, I liked the work they did. There was a mistake somewhere in the process as the title was made on my name and not on mine and my wife's name, but not sure if the title company should be blamed for this. The walls are made from wood therefore you can hear any type of noise. I am used to brick walls and more pricacy.

Initially buying the property was nice and everyone was accommodating. But when the paperwork started and money was exchanged, the people on the neighborhood staffing were not attentive and negligent. My wife and I were lied to about a few things and documents were created without consent. Schedules were messed with and we were told it was our fault. But after it was all said and done, none of it was major and we love the house we are in for the most part. The neighborhood is nice and accommodating, the Centex helpline is quick to act and helpful.

The experience has been bad thus far. However, I have been ghosted after having some issues with the extended warranty on couple of my appliances. Additionally, I have complained about the standing water within my yard, which is still under warranty I must had, but still no one had made the effort to come and get this situated. I am getting the sense that they are doing as much as they can to not honor this warranty.

Many problems with the house from the grass in the back, shower doors with gaps, back door jamming, recurring kitchen leak one side of the closet different measure than the other one, garage walls were not finished, garage floor uneven ruff spots. Not good workmanship.

The model of the home I truly like, however, the home was just thrown together just to pease me. The home was support to been deliver to me on Dec 7, well it was pushed out due to material was not ordered. I feel like once they received the material they was on a time crunch which made them throw the house together and not looking out for the well being of the buyer. all cheap material has been placed in the homes and the buyer has spent all of they life saving to buy a quality home which was not delivered. And now we have to replace things. I'm not happy with this builder at all.
