So so

I have no regrets moving into a Centex house! I absolutely love my house. And I would buy from Centex again and would/have recommended them. However since I have been living in the home for the last 3 weeks, I have been seeing little things with the building materials. They are minor fixes, not worth trying to contact the builder, but I know what to look for now if I were to buy another house from Centex. The one thing I didn't like is toward the end, nearing my closing......I could tell things were rushed. The driveway has cement droppings over the cured cement and it wasn't corrected. Some cement was slung onto the stone part of my house on the outside and it wasn't cleaned off and now it's hard. It's like things like that I can tell they rushed and things were done sloppily. But overall, I have a beautiful house in a very nice community! The only reason I didn't give a 4 rating is due to the Sales office for poor customer service. Still have things that need fixing but no one ever comes to do any thing!!

I really enjoyed seeing the home built every step of the way. From picking a lot, home style, stones, color scheme, etc. From sales, builders all the way to closing staff, they all contributed to make this an easy process.

The first part of the process was smooth, visiting the place, getting information about the house, knowing the different options and prices. The loan processing was very difficult and we had to change the finance company. Many documents required until the last minute. Many of them did not meet their requirements. Hard time trying to convince them that we were trustworthy people. I suggest to ask all the questions as a buyer and look for the best option for yourself since you are the one putting the money and yoy know how far you can go. The buyer has rights also.

Home was built to the way we wanted. Very easy and done when was told would be done.

The overall experience in buying a house was horrid thanks to the staff of Pulte mortgage. This was my first experience of buying a house and it was hellish. From issues with negligence and predatory lending behavior to just plain being rude, snarky, and highly unprofessional by multiple members. I had fees upcharged and added to my CD that were NEVER agreed to even when the staff tried to pull "per our negotiations" but tried to ignore WRITTEN agreements on what was stated. I was also told I should just sign the CD even with the charges because I'm still coming ahead with the incentive bonus. The 5k by no means makes you come ahead that was an incentive by YOUR company to help with closing cost so in the long run it's the company's money period. I also NEVER received an apology by staff for the issues and NEVER received a call from the supervisors to speak about the behavior of their staff. I will NEVER use Pulte mortgage ever again and I will never recommend anyone to use them. Now in regards to the home it's self it's lovely I do have a few issues with carpet nor touching the wall fully leaving holes open for critters, some concrete chipping, and cracks on the wall from the house settling but I have a lovely experience with my field manager Chris. He was extremely professional and quick to address issues. He also tried to assist me with the issues I was having the mortgage company. He truly went above and beyond in his duties. Centex is a well built home and walking through with their employees to find problems that needed to be addressed before I moved in made me feel like they actually wanted me to be happy with my home.

A dire warning to anyone: DO NOT use Pulte Mortgage, you will never run into a bigger nightmare. Please Google "Pulte Mortgage Reviews" and decide for yourself. That probably disqualifies my review from being posted but I'm just being honest. But the homes are a great value. Very few issues came up throughout the entire process and they addressed them promptly. We love our new home and the community.

Paint on floors and not dry before move in. Doorways, door knobs and locks not working properly Areas of flooring not adhered Cupboard drawers not sliding smoothly Poorly constructed exterior fences

It is very difficult to reach anyone for help. Pulte is not very good at responding to your needs.
