Don't sign until you get a commitment to fix what is noted as wrong. We have windows that need replaced-we have a refrigerator that sits in the middle of our kitchen because of the water hook up, the sprinkler was not hooked up when they did the front yard-you call-you get zero response back-just blow you off. I’m still waiting on fixes to issues with my home that I reported back in August, Others in the Century Communities neighborhood have reported the same problems and concerns. The company needs to improve their customer service and keep their word. One of my biggest issues right now is that we have to run the water for over a minute to start getting somewhat hot water. The company advertises these are energy efficient homes and they’re not. I’ve never had utility bills this high anywhere else before. I’ve also had to report on other issues multiple times to have only some of them be addressed at their convenience and as I mentioned, I’m still waiting on other fixes as well. Recently, one of the neighbors reported they had mice get inside their home and when trying to find the source of where they were coming from they had found holes in the drywall behind their oven and holes in their stairs and century suggested that they where the ones that brought them in. I know these people and they are clean, never before had they had a problem like this where they lived before and I’m the one that referred them to buy a home with Century Communities which I’m now regretting. ... As a first time home buyer i would have never imagined that this would have been such a stressful process from day one i moved into our home it has been nothing but problems & we've been in the house for about 3 months now either something wasn't done right or it was done very poorly. i feel with this builder all they care about is closing on the home and getting there money and if there's are done wrong they either tell you "that's how it is" or there's nothing that can be done and expect you to just say OK and that's it. Price wise for the homes are good & decent but the poor workmanship isn't worth all the headache personally i wouldn't recommend this builder to either my family or friends and that's just me being honestly due to my experience and what i have gone thru people do your research ... We paid hard earned money for a new home. The Sales Process and Sales Team was wonderful. But the rest is substandard. If I had to do it over again, I would pass. We have issues that were cataloged during final walk-thru that remains unresolved. They haven't been in touch in months. Workmanship is horrible and clearly their is no pride in what they do. I would never buy from century communities again. Lived in our house for 11 weeks and have taken off 20 business days to resolve issues and they still aren’t done. Quality of the workmanship is made even worse by the complete lack of follow up and care for the customer demonstrated by Century. Promises made over and over were not delivered upon and even the warranty leads admit to the poor contractor work quality being provided. ... More

Worst experience through out all phases - contract, buying, warranty issues. Sales agents do not have any information/experience with their job, you always get wrong information. We bought our home in April and have yet to fully move in. The amount of repairs are endless, to get someone to show up, show on time, or even get a response is impossible. Our floors have been replaced once and less than a week later had the same issues. The bosses came and looked, agreed and promised they’d have an answer to fix within 2 days. Do you want to feel happy about your purchase and reassured that all requirements in the development and construction processes were met? Mat and Serena were excellent Trades that do work at Madera are terrible they do not take pride in their work I will never buy another Centrury home

FIrst time homebuyer. I understood certain things during this process, but it has overall been a horrible experience. Every room in my place has had to be re-worked. Our house was finished 2 months behind schedule in spite of great weather this fall. The quality of the work done is very poor. Drywall seams are visible in most rooms of the house. The sales experience was full of misleading information to get us to design the contract, the building process was rushed, Century mad is close when the house was not ready and dirty, and the plumbing is atrocious. Everything about Century Homes is a nightmare, from sales to lending to craftsmanship. It’s not just my house, our whole neighborhood is screwed up. Roofs caving in, cracked concrete, crooked joints, the wrong fixtures, code violations, appliances that never work properly, retaining walls that fail, poor customer service, even liens placed on our properties from unsatisfied builders.
