The Agent Angela was attentive. Jose was very kind. My only concern is my wood flooring in my downstairs bedroom and hall area, is lumpy and feels like it will pop open soon. I have been waiting for some type of resolution to repair my brand new flooring with no return calls from Benjamin, the Century Rep that came to look at it. Also I have same air pockets in my wood flooring in the kitchen area that I was told would be repaired by drilling holes and inserting some kind of flooring glue. nice looking streets too narrow called an inventory house we paid for it but you had too much and we wanted a sliding glass back door.....and we could afford it found it to be available in other houses....suppoosed to be our house.

They kept you informed along the way but the last two walk throughs were not good. The builder said he would correct the issues but never did. I gave up after numerous phone calls and emails. Promises not kept

Buying experience was great as both Victor and Robin were very helpful in updating us with the construction progress. Design center was helpful, the upgrade price was too high comparing with outside contractors doing the same work though. Follow up work is terrible. Three months after we moved in, we are still waiting for the builder to repair the items noted in the walk-through. Other items discovered later including the laundry room cabinet appeared to be installed upside down. Look, they are great to work with in getting in a home. We had no problem with any questions we had or concerns during the home building process. Even a month after moving in we had to have some warranty work done and they got right on it for exterior items, 2 weeks later when we needed internal stuff done (still do ) it was all scheduled and the day of we get a phone call saying it can’t be completed cause of Covid-19. I closed escrow 3/31/21. Century Communities did not contact me 30 days after to see how things were going or if I needed repairs as they stated. I had to email Octavio. Out of a list of about 5 items needing attention only one has been taking care of and no mention of the others. (that was a couple months back). In my opinion, materials used are not of good quality. Dawn our sales representative was wonderful to work with, our walk thru was rushed to where a person could not point out defects of the builders. We have a list of at least 30 things wrong, defective or broken in the home and no one will get back to us on the warranty side. Uneven floors on the main level, broken cabinets by installer, dryer vent blocked in the laundry room and has destroyed the dryer, holes in the grout in shower area. Uneven paint inside and out. Many difficulties working with this builder, especially with thier borderline incompetent title company. Most things were eventually fixed but it was a complete pain in the *** for me to have to continually badger them and follow up again and again. Would not buy from them again.

All the process (paper work) was on line made it impersonal and challenging to understand .The realtor should really understand the material, color plate/ plans for each model before informing clients. The quality of the house material and work was not satisfying. The price of the house was better than other builders though.

My experience was good buying the the property and I am happy. But I feel the following things can be improved: - I am not sure if this issue is with all the builders but Century Builder is not open to small changes like putting double sink in bathroom, adding a door in bathroom etc. even if you request before the construction starts. - If you have any warranty issues just submitting a ticket online does not work, you have to call multiple times to bring the issues to their attention. Big improvement is needed here.

Pluses [+]: 1. Location is good. Close to everything 2. Good school district 3. Although the builder slipped 1 mo from its promise delivery date, but still it was almost on time ( given the COVID situation) Minuses[-]: 1. Quantity of faucets is really bad. 2. Unfinished garage with a deep crack ( developed on the 3rd month after delivery) on the floor 3. The sales manager Adam and his sidekick sales person are not trustworthy. If you are dealing with such names, make sure you keep everything on writing. 4. Post sales support is nightmarish and virtually nonexistent.

We had to change multiple things with multiple calls and reminders. For example, there was hole in the plywood on the second floor flooring. someone has marked it but they never fixed before handing home to us. We just realized it and they fixed it now but they had to remove the carpet cut the padding , cut the plywood. No one would be happy to repair their new homes like this. There is tile chipped out due to carpet repair and they are saying that this was because me(when I ask something to fix due to the build problem, very first sentence from them is "this is because of you" ). Century Communities seems like it set in their traditional ways. Builder should offer more options that competitors are offering. Simple things such as a tankless water heater, LED bulbs, and more. Also, there are plenty of quality control problems that surface. However, the warranty department has been helpful and diligent aside from a few delays.

For the price I paid for the property and building I guess I should have expected the issues that have come up. First time buying a new home and there were many lessons learned about what to ask and how to manage the buying process. Very stressful.

Our realtor had to run interference for us at times. The builder agent disappeared shortly after the signed contract, but fortunately we were able to speak with another one to work through the build. Financing was easy with the preferred lender, but there was little info relayed regarding the house status during construction. I built a relationship with the foreman to keep informed. We rushed financing to close in mid-December then SILENCE only to FINALLY close in late January after initiating the contract in early July. We've heard many stories, but I'll share just our own. We signed in May, 2020 but right away, things started to change. The builder decided to make changes that we hadn't signed off on, and it was a struggle to get those things that helped us make the decision to buy. We were caught in the interim stages of "that's what it was, this is how we are changing the homes for the future". The house itself is great, but I was told I would receive a garage door credit if I put my deposit down that day, to which I did. Later I was told that since I went with an outside lender, I would not receive that credit. That stipulation was never specified prior to me putting my deposit down. I brought it up many times and I was either ignored or just told there was nothing that can be done. As mentioned, the property as far structure is amazing, but the peer to peer communications were absolutely horrid
