Sales Experience was amazing with Anette, would love to work with her again and cant recommend her more. Our construction foreman was great, kept us up to date, took the time to answer lots of questions and did the best he could under the circumstances. The actual resulting house due to sub par subcontractors is the real negative overall. Trim, paint, drywall, tile, landscaping, etc. No pride in their work and a corner cut/rushed finished product. The warranty process has been ok so far but we are having them come back to do things that never should have had to be done in the first place. ...

It has been 4.5 months since we have closed on our home. Since our first survey, 14 of the 16 items listed on the move-in inspection and orientation report have been completed thanks to John, the on site construction supervisor. He has been excellent to work with and assumed responsibility for the defects and repairs from the previous supervisors, Brian and Scott. Also, we have been pleased with the workmanship and tradesmen who have completed the 14 items. However, two of the "bigger" items still have not been completed. I have had a problem with my grass before I moved in but was assured that it would grow! Once I closed on my home the grass still did not grow! I contacted the leasing office & was told with watering the grass would grow. Well for about a month we had monsoon rain & still no grass. I do believe that I received a bad batch of sod as SEVERAL of my neighbors moved in AFTER me & they have a great lawn. I paid a fair price for my home and have a high level of trust and respect for Danielle and Jim, my sales people who went above and beyond. The design center was on point too. Most of the home was constructed well, and we visited every weekend to ensure it was. On the down side, several closings were rushed to make Q2 numbers. As a result, some finish work was rushed and there's no sense of urgency to fix things on the punch list from our final walk through or from our followup list provided to construction the week after moving in. Still waiting for exterior trim over window to be painted. Bathroom Floor was promised to be replaced. Instead it was patched Working with corporate on a closing was terrible. As a Broker for 40 years it was stunning how inept Century Corporate could be. Fortunately, One of the sales staff was very professional ,helpful and a pleasure to work with. All worked out despite the B.S. Now that there self created obstacles are behind us, all is good

We had a catastrophic landslide that washed away our side yard due to careless excavation on the lot next door. Accidents happen, but when it took over five weeks of asking, begging and finally threatening legal action, for them to replace the land our opinion of Century deminished greatly. The other thing that really irked us is our agent worked hard during the sales process. She deserved every dime of the commission on the $325K+ home but Century only paid commission on the base price of the house (around $260k) claiming they don't pay commission on options. Check the garage make site your car fits first the stairs are a issue in most garages and the depth is different between houses in the garage

The sales staff was great. The closing process took far too long. The GC doesn't have much of a customer service attitude. The overall home is great, but the quality of work on small details is disappointing. Frustration with getting items, identified in final walk-through, fixed in a timely manner.

I'm new to the century communities although I do love my home,the layout and floor plan. I do like the quiet community . Materials used to make the home seem to be very cheap quality the paint is already rubbing off the corner of the walls.The drywall is already cracking and coming off. Also problems with my garbage disposal I'm not at all happy with that.

The craftsmanship is very suspect. I have a lot of concerns with the quality of the house going forward. Nothing in the house is square or level but I will say they have been responsive in fixing issues as my wife.

Once you actually move in you really start to notice how bad some of the workmanship is. The painting and drywall work especially! When the evening sun shines in the window you really notice how bad it looks. I had overspray and drywall dust everywhere that I'm still cleaning. This would not be my 1st choice for another home builder.

Minor issues that have become Major headaches

Cabinet in kitchen still crooked after multiple attempts to fix. Solar was a major pain to get working.They installed the wires backward and didn't realize it until months later. Still waiting for driveway to be fixed. No communication when it will be fixed. The irrigation system is super complicated. Most of the homes in the in the Century Community have brown lawns.

I'll spare you the details, but I can sum it up this way: Century has been great work with administratively. However, if I had known upfront that my home would have so many issues with craftsmanship I would have bought a home elsewhere. I'm several months beyond my closing date and there are trades here weekly completing major projects/repairs.

The quality of workmanship is the worst I have even seen. The bathroom tiles are not flat on the flat surface. The gaps between tiles are not even. The appearance of the tile work is so ugly that we may consider remodeling the bathrooms soon.
