Very good quality home but a lot of construction related problems which need to be resolved.

Buying a spec home leaves you very few options ... you have to like what they have picked and have everything installed meaning you will have to rip out to make changes. eg. We wanted to design our own closets and not have to do a demolish before install ... nope you have to take what they have designed. Otherwise we feel we got a quality build and a great house.

the quality of work is awful, I don't know where they get there tradesmen from, but the work is awful. They trip over each other destroying each others sad work skills. Was not impress with the celebration walk through wanted to cry. I am 30 odd days out and still have a punch list and the company is fighting with me weather they are responsible for the repairs. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY

Our experience was not good. We closed on a house that had no electric, gas, and roof not completed. Some of the sub-contractors did sloppy work. The construction manager pushed back on many things. I was happy with most of my upgrades, but had to watch them closely as the manager missed putting in some of my contract upgrades. We were out of town, but you really need to be there during their builder process.

I had never had a house built before and would probably not do it again. It was a bummer seeing poor quality products being used on my house and all of the set backs along the way. I couldn't believe the amount of trash and garbage litter through the job site. I couldn't believe how much people just didn't care. My friend built a house too and she has had a tremendous amount of issues with her house. The neighbors all have a story to share.

During our first two month living in a new home there was only one issue, a dripping faucet in the tub. It was quickly addressed and we are enjoying our trouble free home.

Quick to resolve problems. Done on time.

Materials and Trade quality is not as good as past Pulte homes I've had built...Poor drywall finishing, cabinets left scratched and damaged, carpet pad installed with standard pads and not the upgraded option I purchased, windows and glass shower doors scratched, and microwave not installed properly and is not useable after 6 weeks in my new home... After close, a list of items needing repair was submitted with long lead times to get done...I've had 3 items (including microwave) where scheduled dates of repair never showed up to fix the problem...Sent messages to Field Mgr and still waiting for new dates...At this point I'm not sure I would ever recommend Pulte to others given my current experience with this new home...Very frustrated and disappointed... ... Closed on Feb 8. Water leak Feb 9. Mold in master bathroom. It’s April 8 and repairs are still not complete. Trades do shoddy work. So much has to be repaired. 30 day repairs have not started yet. This is my second Pulte new build and I’ll never use them again. Trades do not show up as scheduled and if they do they have no idea what they are suppose to do.

Pulte homes are fantastic. I added a new home inspections to cover my bases and only had two small things that need to be addressed, (That's really good, considering.) We've had a medium size repair list from the new home build that has not been addressed and we are still waiting for follow-up repairs. Communication, at this point, has been very poor to say the least. (I'm calling CAC this week). We've passed our 30 day limit and I am hoping that Pulte reaches out soon to, at least, acknowledge these projects are in the process of finishing. No call back, no notifications, no acknowledgements as if we don't exist and had just bought a new home. Otherwise, the rest of the experience with buying a new Pulte home has been great. From our sales person, Bly Trotter, who has been an amazing asset in our home buying experience to our mortgage agent, Brett Burges, who was amazing who clearly and concisely explained everything about Pulte Mortgage with such eloquence and professionalism. We even decided to go with Pulte Insurance which was a great idea and they helped us tremendously. Overall, I would choose Pulte again if we were going to buy another house and would recommend to anyone to do the same. With the exception of the follow up repairs and finishes, we are pleased. We are happy with our new home.

Shocking problems with all the kitchen appliances that are low quality for what is touted as a "chef's kitchen. The kitchen drawers and shelves are literally falling apart. My bathtub doesn't hold water, master shower panel leaks, outdoor lighting is wired incorrectly and does not work. I hired a home inspector and his report outlines alk the flaws, but response is not good. I feel really disappointed and frustrated.

Very smooth process. Closed early with no problems. Excellent staff.

Great quality and attention to detail. Our spec house had many upgrades, the most stunning of which is the kitchen. There have been minor issues to be corrected, which have taken more time and effort than we would have liked. But overall, it is a beautiful community, a beautiful home, and the home-buying process was easy.

We bought the Sanctuary model in Dove Mountain and we had very limited choices in interior selections. If you are buying in Arizona, ask to use the Phoenix Design Center which apparently has more choices. The closets, laundry room and pantry are very basic. Many people in Dove Mountain had to do modifications after they moved in, Pulte uses material that maximizes profit such as compressed paper for door jambs, the paint choices are virtually non-existent.The community is great and friendly which is why we chose Dove Mountain. But for the price, we really expected better quality.

Agents for Pulte were available, knew the construction process and materials. They worked easily with buyers in inspections and choice of options. The buyer choices were accurately performed by construction.

Pulte Team, My wife and I moved into our home in the Del Webb community in Dove Mountain approximately 2 months ago. We thought it would be important for you to receive feedback on our experience. My wife and I have purchased 5 new homes in our lifetime together and have had the opportunity to evaluate the difference in quality of material and workmanship. In comparison to other purchases, we have been very disappointed in the quality of the workmanship of our new home especially for the price we paid. We do understand our Spec home is still under warranty but we believe there should have been more attention to detail to prevent rework and inconvenience. The following is some of the concerns and issues. 1. The drywall taping and texturing is very amateur, there is multiple areas throughout the house with divots, cracks, uneven and crooked areas, areas that were not sanded and obvious repair areas etc. 2. Paint quality inside and out is very poor. I am sure I will be repainting the outside within a year and a half. You can tell there is only one coat on the exterior and there is multiple areas that the stucco chips off and exposes the cement color. The exterior stucco has a load of imperfections. Where the stucco meets the roof line, it is obvious the contractor did not care how it looked. There are nails exposed and in some areas small holes and chicken wire. This is a repair that definitely needs attention. I recently visited another builders home that is known for bad quality and their stucco was significantly better than the home we purchased. If Pulte would use a smoother stucco finish there would be less rework all around saving the company and customer time and money. The interior paint job was very shoddy and my wife and I have spent a load of time touching up corners and areas that were missed. Use a quality paint that will last at least a few years. 3. Cabinet doors not adjusted properly to stay closed. 4. Pulte markets their homes being energy efficient. My garage door was not insulated and the noisiest door I have ever heard. I am in the process of paying to get it done right. If you market energy efficiency, it should be included. 5. Our backsplash in the kitchen is stone tile and I don’t believe there was no thought about how the splash of grease would effect the porous stone. I believe this certainly a repair that Pulte should fix. The tile in the shower was not planned out well either. To finish the landing, the tile layer put a 1/2” edge when it was not necessary. 6. The day we moved in, it was like no one even attempted to clean or vacuum the Sheetrock dust off the floors or window seals. The windows and all fixtures were dirty and had glue on the quartz. 7. I had to install a patio light in the courtyard (just had a wall plate). The laundry room had one fixture and another light box with a plate. I had to add the second fixture. If the plan calls for an electrical box for a light in the laundry room, don’t cheap out, put the light fixture in. 8. My front landscaping decorative rock was very thin in many areas. The drip system electrical line is exposed creating a tripping hazard. 9. My drainage ditch drains right into my main water shut off valve box. No effort made to reroute the drainage around it. The common area next to me need some attention. The hill side eroding and could present problems for my wall in the future. The wall is already deteriorating and will have holes in the concrete block within a year. Concrete block does not normally doe this. A serious problem with product or workmanship. I definitely would like Pulte to repair or replace. Rip rap rock should have been put on the hillside to prevent the hillside from deteriorating. There are many more issues I could list but our point for this feedback is to make you aware. When someone purchases a new home for the amount of money they spent, it should be a pleasant experience. It is understandable it will not be perfect but it should be the target/goal. There is nothing worse than to get settled in to your new home than to have multiple contractors back to do rework that is totally unnecessary which is very costly and inconvenient. During the construction process, contractors should be held to a higher standard. After all, it is a direct reflection on Pulte homes. I am a true believer in doing it right the first time. Please understand we are only sending you this feedback so it may make other buyers experience it bit more pleasant. Although, I do have an expectation Pulte will make it right on the serious issues I pointed out. There has been one employee (DW) of Pulte that has been trying to help but I am sure he is limited on what he is able to do. At least he tries. Purchased a Del Webb quest villa, 5 years new. They were very accommodating with the smallest issues.

Overall very happy with home and neighborhood. However, disappointed with quality of finish work and attention to detail (i.e., paint, woodwork is not up to "new house" standards).
