We are very pleased with our new home at Del Webb at Dove Mountain. It is a very solid home with many nice features that was completed on time, despite everything going on with COVID. We looked at several other 55 plus communities in the Tucson area, and found that we got more "bang for our buck" at Del Webb at Dove Mountain. We love the community, all the walking trails among the Saguaro cactus, and beautiful views of the mountains on all sides.

Moved in July 3, 2020, and have been very satisfied.

Our experience with a "near custom" home in a newer Del Webb community was excellent. The entire process was smooth. The Construction Manager was very responsive and great to work with. I would happily recommend a new home within a Del Webb community.

Compared to the Del Webb communities in Wickenburg and Rio Verde this is a steal.

Wonderful new home. Built solid. Excellent workmanship. From groundbreaking to closing a wonderful experience. Questions answered. Walk through allowed. Meetings with foreman encouraged. Just a wonderful, hassle free experience.

I have built several homes for myself and spent over 30 years in construction. I feel my review is reasonable and accurate. 1. The Pulte team I dealt with were all professional, polite, and helpful. I give them an A. 2. The quality of material and workmanship was, at best, a c+. 3. Choices at the design center were limited and most items were overpriced. 4. The inflexibility of management was extremely frustrating and disappointing. 5.. Due to Covid-19, I have not experienced the clubhouse or amenities. It seems to be a quality built facility and I look forward to being able to swim, exercise, and become an active member of our new Dove Mountain community. ... More

The Dove Mountain Del Webb is a very attractive community. The homes and landscaping are beautiful. The model of my home is exactly what I was looking for. My only complaint is the actual buying process. Since I was moving across the country and had many details to handle, I felt I was pushed to move along and instead of working with me on a timeline for buying and moving, Del Webb was unyielding on their timeline of signing papers, materials selection, and finally my closing date. I was given a timeframe and what I was expecting did not happen. With the extraordinary current affairs of virus etc, I felt Del Webb was unwilling to be flexible on my time frame for moving. My closing date was well ahead of what was expected and I felt pressured to meet that date. Not a pleasant experience with such an important purchase. The building process was smooth and on time. Some decisions have to be made very far in advance, for example, interior color when there is only a dirt lot. Some of the options are pricey. We paid $98K more than the starting price. The workmanship is good but there are some details that could have been better (paint splatters, caulk on the floor, missing weatherstrip). Getting things corrected has been slowed by coronavirus but we are confident that they will get done. House is energy efficient and comfortable.

Quality for the money, location and amenities, services and followup.

The house, in general, appears well made; but the options were disappointing, diminishing the overall value, such as: 1) Tankless Water Heater provided with no recirc pump wasting 30,000-40000 gallons of water per year waiting to heat up for shower. Had to spend $2700 to replace it with efficient model. 2) Whirlpool Appliances are horrible, poor functioning, non intuitive - common complaint in community 3) No or one ugly selection of Brushed Nickle faucets or bath fixtures. Had to go with chrome. Large master bath has two 8" wide towel racks in main area and one 24" towel rack in toilet room. Could have easily fit a 24" next to sink and a towel ring next to shower. Have to sling towel over shower door. In Common bath there is on 8" towel rod - barely large enough to hang toilet paper 4) No Gutters - rain runs off flat roof over rear patio like your on the inside of a waterfall. Overall went very well. Excellent construction supervisor. Challenges include long lead time for input of design choices; limited appliance options; and limited interior paint options. Mortgage process went well but closing did not go well.

We moved in one week before the Covid 19 crisis affected the US. We have found Del Webb to use that excuse to delay fixing issues that could be addressed during this time.

Lack of follow-up and poor attitude.

some minor problems that dell webb still hasn't fixed.Both sliding glass doors take two hands to open and close. Exhaust fan, I repaired. Never finished painting wall. Cleaned grout of floors for weeks. Threshholds trashed, I repaired. Doorbell in-op.

We appreciated the help and smiles from the Model Homes assistants. They are friendly and extremely helpful. Our home was built with the highest standards and the our project manager was helpful in all aspects. We are excited to start the next phase of our lives in our Del Webb Home. Thanks for everything in the build. Our experience has been beyond satisfactory.

We selected Del Webb Dove Mountain for two primary reasons. 1. Very livable floor plans and 2. A beautifully designed community - modern and inviting.

As a single woman preparing for retirement in AZ...3 things were important to me: New Community, Safe and Quality. Del Webb Dove Mountain exceed my expectations. The purchasing experience was easy, my building foreman was friendly, knowledgeable, responsive, and explained thing so I could understand. It was a wonderful experience and after the SIP I hope to enjoy the community in Marana, AZ.

While we love the layout of the home. The standard contractor flooring is extremely poor. We upgraded our cabinets and counter tops and we do not feel we received quality on either one.

Purchasing a home in Arizona and Dove Mountain, in particular, was actually a spur of the moment decision. We fell in love with our home and the locale and have not regretted moving there as "snowbirds" and already considering being full time residents.

This is my 2nd Del Webb home. When my situation changed, I checked out Del Webb Dove Mountain and knew I could count on them to build me a quality home. The entire process was very positive. I would recommend Del Webb to new home buyers.

get home inspected prior to closing and walk through with field manager. Take lots of pictures and write down all adverse issues; anticipate long waits to get repairs done. Check all keys for operability including mail box and golf cart garage prior to closing; we didn't get correct mail keys (we were assigned to different mailbox by USPS than Del Webb thought) for 7 wk.

Advise them to the home closely inspected before closing.Walls are not square, cracked or chipped floor tiles,grout all over the mop boards, stucco comming off the exterior,

Best house builder out of 4 others in Az

We really like the results of the house. Our project manager (Nick Swanson) is great. Build quality met our expectation. A couple areas that could be improved. The final signing and title process was very poorly handled. Also the design process was difficult and the tools available to visualize options were basically non existent, We had to go to other sites to see cabinets and countertops together. Last is that it seemed like there was no consistency between the cost of upgrades. Some seemed reasonable and some were outrageously expensive.
