It is wonderful to have a brand new home in Temescal Valley that is so affordable. We also enjoy the indoor pool and clubhouse for over 55 people. Everything the Association does is helpful and well organized. There is beautiful landscaping in the common areas and at the clubhouses.

We feel like our Rancho Mirage quality built Del Webb home will be the perfect solution to escaping ice, snow and cold winters. We started the process in Feb and closed mid July just as predicted. The construction manager sent us photos and answered questions to explain the ongoing steps every 1-2 weeks. Now we are excited to feather our new winter nest!! I really like the quality items put in. Ie Moen faucets, Shaw carpet, kitchen aid appliances, Lennox furnace. We can’t wait for Dec now!! Thank you!

One officer within Del Webb was dismissive of my concerns. Aside from that one aberrant example, my wife and I were very pleased at everyone’s expertise and kindness. From the front desk personnel, to the salespersons, to the woman guiding us through the interior design process, to the construction foreman and his colleagues, they all have been supportive every step in the process. It’s our first home bought from the ground up, and we couldn’t be more pleased.

Very satisfied with the home overall, however, the final finishes are a little sloppy. I believe they send in a final crew to touch up, who slopped minor amounts of paint on light switches, windows, floors and counter tops. Also, tile grout is a little messy around some perimeter areas. They need to have a little more pride with these details.

I have purchased four (4) new homes in my lifetime. Each has been a train wreck in its own way, mostly due to the lack of integrity of the builder and their subcontractors. Unfortunately things haven't changed much over the years. That's why when you do a search on Pulte you get mostly self-generated hype on how great they are, and stories from around the country on all the developments that have been forced to sue them due to their incompetence and arrogance. I take no joy in posting this. Just presenting honest assessment of my experience.

The experience was good from beginning to end. The only negative was that we were scheduled to move in on February 24, and then it became April 12. Also, after we moved in, we heard clawing inside the walls. Some animal had found its way in before us, and was living in the walls. Not much help from anybody to get it out, but it sounds like the poor thing has expired.

My review is mixed. My hopes were met with disappointment on many levels. Working with Tracy G at the sales center was everything I could ask for…10 stars! I financed with Pulte and that was an unending nightmare unfortunately. I have perfect credit, income, no debt, a huge down payment and documentation for everything yet had it not been for VP of processing Nick H. stepping in after 90+ days of torture, my loan would never have gotten done. The only challenging part of the homebuilding process was the waiting and delays due to inspections or govt officials were taking too long to approve. It caused about a five week+ delay to our build. At no fault of Del Webb/Pulte.

Home buying should be fun and this was not. I chose my home lot because of the location and views, not being told that there was a hill and homes being built above me. I paid a premium for my lot and now all my views are blocked. The finishing up my home was delayed over two months, which was very frustrating as I never knew whether it was going to be done or not, and when my move-in date would be. But, when I finally moved in, I love my home, and the small issues have been taken care of. The neighborhood is fabulous and the amenities are beyond amazing. So I guess, all in all it’s worth it.

Worst buying experience of my life! Started with the rude salespeople and continues with the slow responses to repair requests. I was completely mislead. If I had to buy again, I’d probably buy somewhere else. Only redeeming factor was the foremen on my job …he’s been informative and helpful but nothing can help the shoddy construction and lies coming from the front office. Shameful just shameful. And I’d like to blame them personally but being in business for over 30 years has taught be…it starts at the top. Which is why I’d never recommend to anyone to purchase a Pulte home.

Love the location and the process. Great selection of floorplans, options and finishes. Perfect amenities with the clubhouse and grounds. We got what we wanted. The frustrating piece is that we are two months after closing and the punch list of items still to be corrected is still fairly extensive. Window pane and cabinet fronts to be replaced. Toilet not usable. Chipped tub to be repaired. The list started with over 15 issues so they have been making progress and the fixes have been done with quality. We love our new home and the community. The closing process was delayed due to construction delays which could have been communicated better in advance to avoid the closing stress. We have had numerous post closing issues which Pulte is very responsive to rectifying as soon as possible. Overall we are very happy in our new home and believe everything will get completed in a reasonable time period.

Bought at the height of the market when sales process & lender took buyers for granted. By the time the house was estimated to be done, market had crashed, but the home had still had 2 months + to go before completion. (Wish they'd taken their time to do it right, though!) Kept getting dates shifted for closing, and I was then pressured to close before house was done and all systems connected, let alone finishes done. Pulte declared my home done and ready to close. Sales experience was excellent. Design center experience was good to very good. Quality control during the final phase of finishing the home was awful. Subcontractors are allowed to do sloppy work and get away with it. Many small thing completely overlooked. There was no regard for keeping the finished product clean and damage free.
